  1. I'm not buying all these Marv Levy being one of the most overrated coaches in NFL history takes because to me he doesn't get major recognition throughout the NFL community like when you hear names like Belicheck, Lombardi, Joe Gibbs and so on and so on. Is he beloved by Bills fans? Absolutely. Should he be? Absolutely. But I don't think from a league wide perspective he is overrated nor underrated. I think he's just one of those guys who has his rightful place in NFL history. He was a very good coach but not one of the all-time giants. My take is that these Levy is overrated takes come from salty Bills fans who are still angry about the four Super Bowl losses 30 years later.
  2. No way. Those road uni's were ugly as sin. Right up there with the Sabres slug uniform.
  3. I was in the camp that at times I didn't even think there was going to be a season or that it would surely be shutdown midway through but my opinion's actually changed on that. I think we will get through the season now. I'm not as optimistic about full capacity crowds coming back this season though.
  4. Preseason always feels like such a tease compared to the real season but I agree. Some preseason is better than no preseason.
  5. To me this doesn't look like the highlight reel of a fringe player who was in jeopardy of not making the team that just used a 3rd round pick on him a few years ago. Regardless of your personal opinion of him you have to admit the kid can play some ball
  6. That guy's opinion became invalid to me the second he started talking about how many sacks he got
  7. The one guy that I feel like nobody is talking about these days is Harrison Phillips. I was watching some highlights of the 2019 Buffalo Bills defense on YouTube yesterday and he really stood out to me in the games he was featured in before he got injured. He was playing some very STOUT football. If he can recover 100% from the injury I think he is an upgrade over Star at this stage in each of their careers. Horrible Harry and Oliver should make a solid tag team with each of them bringing different aspects to the defensive front.
  8. McDermott leaves no stone unturned
  9. He is going to be a fan favorite without a doubt. He has such a cool, down to earth personality and he couldn't have handled this situation any better than he did. Very proud to have him on our squad. On top of being such a cool dude, I really think he is about to have a breakout season and going to help take this defense to the next level.
  10. Ehh ask Scottie Pippen how that worked out for his career
  11. Write in vote for Berta on Two and a Half Men
  12. I promise you won't be the only one in WNY doing this. I'm sure it's going to be pretty common
  13. I was going to post the same thing. A real classic. RIP
  14. I think Ed Oliver is going to break out and be that star power kind of guy. He just seems to have that IT factor. I also still think Edmunds can take it up a notch and also become a household superstar name as well. But outside of that we really do have one of those sum of the parts kind of defenses and I'm ok with it because everybody can contribute in some form.
  15. I was in Pittsburgh for the Steelers game last year and we were out to dinner and somebody came up to me and was saying he was all pumped up for the game and thought the Bills were gonna win and I said "Oh nice Bills fan huh?" and he replied "No I wrestled with Sean McDermott in high school and he is the MAN!" I love that our head coach has that kind of respect from everybody he has crossed paths with.
  16. Definitely not as excited as normal which is ironic because if things were normal this would be the most excited for football I would've been in the last 25 years
  17. That middle paragraph really sums up Buffalo Bills football from 2000-2017.
  18. As a kid I used to think Ponderosa was fine dining
  19. If that's all you can take away from those years then that's on you my friend
  20. Exactly. I get that they need to play games from a business standpoint because of the money. But from a fans standpoint, what's the point?
  21. I'm with you 100%. What is the point of winning our first title if we couldn't have a Parade and celebrate it and no home playoff games where fans can attend and enjoy the atmosphere. Very sad situation all the way around. I think there are still a lot of fans in denial at how lame this season is going to turn out either way.
  22. I've been saying from the beginning at the very BEST case scenario we are going to see an ugly football season with a garbage product on the field. That is the absolute best case, but I'm still not convinced there will be a complete season yet either. I am at a point where I think it will at least kick off
