  1. No. At this point the misfortunes of the drought years are well in the rear-view. If we still hadn't broken the playoff drought and winning the Division also meant clinching our first playoff spot then I think it's a completely different story. I didn't cry in 2017 because although I was very happy to get the monkey off our back it just didn't play out the way I always envisioned breaking the drought. We were a 9-7 team that had to rely on another game for us to actually get in there. It was cool but just wasn't as emotional to me as I always pictured because of the way it played out. I really wish last year when we beat Pittsburgh was when we could've officially ended the drought because that would've truly been on our terms. I do know even if we just won the AFC championship game to get back to a Super Bowl I would absolutely cry, and I mean winning a Super Bowl is a complete no brainer
  2. This team has really found the right balance between staying focused and having fun. I love it!
  3. While I can't speak on the other two it is now well known that Losman never put in the effort it took to be successful in the NFL. When he was drafted he came in with the rep that he was supposed to be a Jim Kelly, Brett Favre passionate love for the game kind've guy but he actually treated football like it was just a job to him. I just don't think Manuel or Edwards ever had the raw talent to succeed in the NFL.
  4. Let's win a Super Bowl first...then we'll talk.
  5. Makes me think of an old Lawrence Taylor quote about getting to play in a Super Bowl...something along the lines of "it's like getting invited to the biggest party in the world and not being able to participate" but for the 90's Bills they did the exact opposite lol
  6. I'm sure there would be some sort of planned celebrations down the road but even though it would be fun you wouldn't be able to replicate the pure ecstacy and emotion in the heat of the moment 6 months later.
  7. Right. I do think it would be different if your a fan of a team that has already won a Super Bowl before. But for the Bills I want the whole package...massive tailgate parties, Bills fans invading the cities of opponents, a massive Super Bowl parade, packed bars etc. If the Bills went all the way this year of all seasons it would feel so anti-climatic
  8. My biggest worry right now is if we go all the way this year and we can't actually go to the games and have a parade etc....seriously how badly would that suck? For that reason there's a part of me that secretly doesn't want us to win the whole thing this year
  9. I've been trying to find the Bruce Smith version after the AFC championship game against the Raiders on YouTube or something but no luck so far. Do you know if that sound byte is out there anywhere on the internet?
  10. #4 in the league in takeaways right now
  11. I would say Yes. I understand why some people are downplaying it as just another game but the way I see it as this team keeps growing the expectations keep rising. Just coming off a big win on a National Primetime game last week with a 9-3 record playing against the Mighty Pittsburgh Steelers who except for last year have had our number since the Kelly years. This is absolutely an important game for the Bills to win because it would signify the Bills have arrived and can be counted on to win these bigger games. No more moral victories. That is out the window now. Obviously the playoff games to follow this year will be bigger but at this moment I would have to say this would absolutely be the Bills biggest win in recent memory topping the Dallas and Pittsburgh games last year. Don't even bring the Baltimore-Cincy game to the table. It was nice the drought was broke but at the end of the day that was a 9-7 team that lucked into the playoffs. This time around the Bills are a legitimate team on the rise with the foundation in place of guys that are going to be here for a long time. We are in the driver seat of our destiny, no more worrying about how things fall into place so we can sneak out of the Hunt and into the wildcard.
  12. I think this is one of those rare instances where the credit can equally be split right down the middle. And not just because they are both doing a great job but because of the way they work together
  13. R.I.P...I knew we weren't going to make it out of 2020 without at least one more round of bad news
  14. That game was right up there as one of the most heartbreaking Bills games of the Drought. You could honestly make a case for it as #1
  15. I hate these uniforms. Mainly because they remind me of the Patriots old uniforms. Just doesn't feel like the Bills look to me. But whatever I'll get over it.
  16. Diggs has been laying out awesome downfield blocks all season. When we lost Robert Woods I was really disappointed but it wasn't only because of his receiving abilities but it was because he always played with some fire and was a nasty blocker. Diggs brings those exact same intangibles. That is the kind of guy you win with.
  17. I never felt that but I remember when Wentz first came out onto the scene and at the time it looked like Philly found their franchise guy I remember just feeling so depressed that another team had found their guy and at that time it felt like the Bills were never going to get a true franchise QB. It's crazy how fast things can change in the NFL
  18. I always thought the McDermott being too conservative criticism was way too premature. He never had the horses when he first got here to play an aggressive style of offense. I don't blame him for being conservative at that time. He always acknowledged that he knew the Bills had to get better on offense, score more points and play more aggressive. I always had faith that he wasn't just giving us lip service and he understood that to be the reality but he just needed the weapons to be able to coach that way. There were wayyy too many fans that gave him no patience and thought that McDermott only knew how to coach low scoring, conservative football.
  19. There's more parity in the NFL now than ever in my opinion. It truly is a week to week league in this era.
  20. How pissed are Bronco fans they didn't draft Josh Allen!? Whenever I think of the Broncos that's the first thought that pops into my mind
  21. I came to the conclusion that the most violent defense of all time was the 85 Bears. I came to this conclusion by using a formula that they have the highest percentage of highlights that would now be considered a penalty, fine, or automatic suspension.
  22. Of course a Super Bowl victory would be fantastic but this isn't a Super Bowl or Bust team either. We are just getting started and arriving to the big boys table in this league. We are a team trending upwards, I don't think the pressure to go all the way should be there yet but I think it's ok for fans to think it wouldn't be the craziest idea ever especially because there doesn't seem to be any truly great teams in today's NFL except for KC.
  23. Ordering it? No Trying to find a buddy who is getting the fight and scoring an invite? Absolutely
