TV Shows You Want Rebooted
BillsPride12 replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Married WIth Children but I'm almost certain it would suck and be nothing close to the original in today's PC climate -
Good answer. After I made the poll I realized I couldn't pick one over the other either because I also like both experiences. In my 20's it was definitely going to the stadium but in my 30's now there are a TON of things I appreciate about the at home experience. I mean going to the stadium is always an awesome experience but there are so many little things that factor into it as you get older(all the additional expenses, parking, tailgating supplies, gas, concessions, etc.) the fact that it eats up your whole day, feeling like dog ***** at work on Monday, missing out on a lot of the action because you got stuck in a 20 minute bathroom line, etc.

I'm good. Watched all 4 of the playoff games this weekend. I like football but after watching a marathon of games I am usually a little burned out. But then as the week goes on my anticipation for the next set of games will start growing lol.

As of right now I think I am dropping out. I'm getting older and my crew has dwindled over the years and I'm finally at the point where attending every home game of the season and making all day affairs out of each game is just exhausting and I can't get any money back for the games I don't go to. Then there's the financial aspect because I already do a yearly Bills road game which is a lot of fun. I also plan on doing a Bills man cave in my basement which I'm excited for and I'm sure I will still go to some home games. So yes I do plan on stepping away from being a season ticket holder but it does not reflect how I feel the direction of the team is going. I'm just burned out on being a season ticket holder but I am really looking forward to hosting some fun Bills home parties once I build my Bills room. I would've loved to keep my seasons if I could afford to eat the loss on the games I don't go to(which has turned into half of them) but finances are a little bit tight and I don't want to give up doing the annual road trip game because of how much fun that always is.

These stories never get old. I enjoyed reading each and every one of them. Happy 26th Comeback Game! Never Give Up! -
Josh Allen during the pick 6
BillsPride12 replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This kid has heart and guts. You can't argue that. I really hope Beane is capable of bringing in legit weapons and seeing what Allen can really do with some firepower around him. -
Could be Christmas specials such as the Grinch or Frosty etc or Christmas episodes of regular tv shows...Could be all-time favorites or favorites of yours when you were a kid..Let's hear em

Is this true or just an exaggerated perception? It's not a bad thing at all..but it just sounds so foreign to me when I think back to how things were when I was in school.

What's your Christmas outfit for 2018?

Weirdest/Worst Christmas present you received
BillsPride12 replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Growing up every year during the day time on Christmas Eve we went to a family(including extended family) party for my Mom's best friend and there was a relative there that gave me one of those giant Popcorn Tins full of Caramel Popcorn every year...I hate Caramel Popcorn. This was during the childhood years where Christmas gifts were supposed to be fun and exciting and kick ass toys, I just always remember hating getting those damn popcorn tins every year. -
That was a right of passage as a young pre-teenager back in the day stumbling upon your Dad or Uncle's stash That and getting together with a bunch of your buddies and staying the night at someone's house and watching all the soft core HBO/Cinemax skin movies. A true male bonding experience during elementary school. Very simple but fun time in life!

I was the oldest so I had to pretend to still believe for a couple years even when I knew what the deal was. Truth is I didn't want to believe that Santa wasn't real, that is probably the first real coming of age thing you experience in your life. Christmas loses some of the magic at that point but I had no problem playing along for my younger brother's sake and I can remember being pissed when he eventually found out about it from his buddy but for whatever reason I really tried to cling on to childhood for as long as possible. Didn't care for the middle school years much at all because I hadn't come out of my shell yet and missed the true childhood fun of Elementary School. Luckily I was able to grow out of that and enjoyed the fruits of high school life

The NFL was a million times more fun in the 90's Bittersweet feelings...sucks that era is long gone but forever grateful I grew up then and got to experience it. -
Jim Kelly vs. Dan Marino In The Snow
BillsPride12 replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thurman Thomas was absolutely elite...1991 NFL MVP, Led NFL in total yards from scrimmage 4 years in a row, was considered Top 3 RB in his era along with Emmitt and Barry. I can see at least a debate over Jim and Andre but you cannot tell me that Thurman wasn't considered an elite RB during his playing days...hell to this day! -
Even though they looked really bad today, they also looked really good in just their last game they played against Toronto which is one of the top teams in the NHL. From what I have been reading on social media etc. they is way too much over analyzing going on right now. We are still a super young team and we knew there were going to be some bumps in the road but we are still heading in a great direction. Not worried at all.

Week 14, 2017 - The Snow Game. Where were you?
BillsPride12 replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have season tickets but I decided to skip the game and watched it over at my parents house with family. I instantly regretted not going once I realized how special of a game it was going to be. I was at the 8-0 Blizzard game in Cleveland in 07 though so I'll always have that. -

Finally had a chance to flip through the catalog. Wish I wasn't broke, there were some great items that would have been cool to purchase for my man cave! -
RIP SpongeBob Creator Steve Hillenburg

Spongebob was after my time but I have always said that was the one kids cartoon that I'm sure I would've loved to watch as a youngster. I have a kid brother 13 years younger than me and he grew up on Spongebob. Seemed like the one good cartoon for kids who grew up post 90's. RIP
