Better Call Saul Season 3 - It's on!!!!!
apuszczalowski replied to The Poojer's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I like the character and so does my wife. I knew the basics of BB and details of some of the characters from here, but the show could almost stand on it's own and be good even without being tied to BB -
Better Call Saul Season 3 - It's on!!!!!
apuszczalowski replied to The Poojer's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I know, most of my tv watching right now is through Netflix on a second computer monitor on my desk at home while I'm working on drawing house plans. I have said BB is a show I want to sit down and watch without doing anything else so I can pay attention to it. It's one of those shows you have to watch and be able to focus on. -
Better Call Saul Season 3 - It's on!!!!!
apuszczalowski replied to The Poojer's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I have never watched BB yet, have the entire series on DVD but no time to watch them all yet. I have watched BCS as it aired for the first 2 seasons (rewatched them both before season 3 started) but haven't caught any of season 3 yet. I was recording them and planning to watch but have been too busy that I decided just to watch the entire season after it airs. I have not had it be an issue enjoying BCS because I havent watched BB yet. My wife is the same way, she never had much interest in BB but loves Saul. I have also been wanting to watch SOA as I picked up the entire series of that one too, just waiting to get some free time to watch -
you forgot that they will also have to be in 50 different languages well it's possible that the company will get fined anyways, no matter if she fell or not just because they didn't have the proper barricading in place which in some regulations would have required a rope or chain around the area. Although i cant recall from the course i was just on but 6feet may not require an additional barrier, for some reason I am thinking it's 8-10 feet drop requires the additional height safety requirements It is true that blind or legally blind doesn't mean you can't see anything, most of the time it's just limited vision. Although most still have some assistance getting around, I question this woman with no cane and the ability to walk while watching her phone at a reasonable distance.

Well, according to her son, she is legally blind Apparently not legally blind enough to not be able to look at and use a cell phone, but legally blind enough to not see a giant opening in the sidewalk......

Walt Powell suspended 4 games for PEDs
apuszczalowski replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But remember, your talking about the same people (players) that have basically been told "If you can play a game really well, and stay out of trouble/away from drugs for a small portion of your life, we will pay you enough money you can live reasonably comfortable on for the rest of your life" yet so many are out there taking drugs and drinking/getting into trouble My guess is that there are a few reasons for this A) they are young and dumb, always lived sheltered lives when their talents became visible to others (everyone always protected them because they were the star athlete) B) Because of the fame and instant wealth, they get hangers on who want to enjoy their fame and wealth and dont have to worry about consequences if they get into trouble or do drugs/drink C) They are under tremendous pressure to be their best/better and stay in top shape that they think they can cheat and take PEDs without being caught. (I wouldn't be surprised if it were to come out years from now that some of the biggest superstars in the league had failed or never had to take drug tests because they league knew they had to stay the best "for the good of the league" and did what they could to protect them) -
patriot bride asked a question
apuszczalowski replied to nuklz2594's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, they are hot because they are forced to continue wearing their winter jackets and warm clothes until late spring because the mornings are cold but my lunch time the temperature went up 20 degrees so they get really hot -
HP Computer Says Toshiba on Screen?
apuszczalowski replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I wouldn't assume i remember hearing years ago that with Walmart, especially with electronics, you may be buying a brand name item, but what your actually getting is a version of it made somewhere else that walmart paid to have the brand name put on. I have heard that even with other items today, that you really have to research the product your buying even if it is the same brand, if your buying it from a different store. For example, I knew somone looking at buying a new grill last year who was saying that the brand had 2 different manufacturing facilities, one overseas that built and sold the product to chain stores, and one around here that manufactured and sold them at specialty stores. You would think your buying that brand name product at the chain store, but what your actually getting is a cheaper version of it with the brand logo slapped on it. Could be what happened here, the place that manufactured it for Walmart slapped an HP logo their product that used Toshiba parts. could also be that this certain model uses Toshiba parts for it (not as likely) or that the manufacturer had versions of the software it loaded on that was intended for Toshiba models so it shows up (more likely). I wouldn't be shocked to find out if you took it back to Walmart that it was a return/refurb model that someone got mixed into the brand new ones after being fixed. -
Jets trade Calvin Pryor to browns
apuszczalowski replied to aristocrat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Did the browns make this move to save money on the other Pryor jerseys they still have in boxes at the stadium to sell? -

Tim Horton's vs Dunkin Donuts
apuszczalowski replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Tims, unless your a Brady and Pats fan of course........... Any time I hear Dunkin all I can think of is Boston and Boston sports, mainly because I used to watch Phantom Gourmet on a Boston tv superstation here and they were sponsored by Dunkin, -
Of all the cooking shows, which one do you like?
apuszczalowski replied to mead107's topic in Off the Wall Archives
You and Rex too! I would watch alot of 'Triple D', even have 2 of the books that go along with the show with recipies from the restaurants along with the Canadian version of the show 'You gotta Eat Here' (also have 2 of the books and have been to a couple of the places around here they went to) I will sometimes watch Bobby Flays BBQ show, or another Canadian BBQ show hosted by a former CFL QB (Dunnigan IIRC) where he BBQs for a crowd -
Whatever happened to? Once famous people no longer famous

Dice still does stand up I believe, and I beleive had been on the Celebrity Apprentice and was a part of 2 seasons on the show Entourage before it ended Chevy Chase was last on the NBC show Community a few years ago, before they killed him off because either IIRC he was a complete a-hole no one wanted to work with, or he made some some racist/offensive comments (or both), I can't remember I'm surprised no one has asked the obvious Predictability? The Milkman? The paper Boy? The Evening TV? -
I have heard that many times before, because the superstars usually made it based on some great natural talent and made it based off of this talent. The marginal guys usually had to bust their @sses off training and learning skills so they know what it takes to succeed more then just being born with a skill. They also say too that usually certain position players make better coaches because of how they play the game. In Baseball, catchers usually make better coaches then say a pitcher because the catcher is usually the one studying the other teams and calling the games for the team and pitchers so they have to be smart and know the game well. They also get to watch the game from a totally different view/perspective then anyone else. In Football, career backup QBs often make better coaches then guys who were starters because they are often spending more time on the sidelines with coaches, going over things with them and the starters while watching the games from the sidelines.

the "comedian" Kevin James (king of queens, Paul Blart Mall Cop, etc.) Was a trainer before acting. Would you not go to an eye doctor who wears glasses? A dentist who doesn't have perfect teeth? How does the saying go, "those who can do, do, those who cant, teach"? Personally, I wouldn't judge the person by their looks, they may look "fat/overweight" but may actually be in great shape, thin doesn't = healthy like many believe. Just because a person appears to be overweight, doesn't mean they don't know nutrition

Is this the one named after the ghost busters movie, after Zhoul?

Carucci says the housecleaning isn't finished
apuszczalowski replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lol at those who think Brandon is gone, the Pegulas jUst promoted him to president of their sports business in charge of both teams, they aren't now going to turn around and fire him because the fan base blames everything bad on him just because they have no idea what he actually does and just like to assume since he worked near the top for so long he has to be involved in all that's wrong. They work directly with him and obviously like him enough to promote him. He isn't going anywhere this place would be so lost without them to blame all that goes wrong on around here. I hear Russ Brandon was directly to blame for Jim Kelly having cancer -
I think that joke went way over your head (it was a reference to the Breaking Bad spin off Better Call Saul)
