  1. Worked so great for Buffalo the last few years............ Rams fan(s) should be jumping for joy that they managed to steal away the dynamic (former) Bills WR duo.................
  2. Didn't he 'Retire'? I thought he decided to hang it up instead of playing for the Jags on his current deal (he wanted a raise or to redo the deal) I highly doubt he comes to Buffalo on a vet minimum deal........
  3. The only thing that will make these into a bad deal for the Bills is IF Sammy stays healthy and shows the hype/potential we all kept hearing about him this year for the Rams But thats all we have heard for the last few years about him, he has huge potential, if he stays healthy he will be a game changer, and yet every year he keeps having these nagging injuries that either keep him out or have him playing hurt. He has already come out saying he wants huge money, and would everyone be happy of the Bills gave it to him after maybe 1 year of him being healthy (if he could stay healthy this year)?
  4. Exactly, its not tanking, but doing what many here have been crying for them to do every year, acquire more picks They got decent players back and some good picks to add to what they already have for next year. Watkins was never what he was hyped to be when he was picked and he always was off injured or playing hurt. in the end they replace him with someone who should atleast be able to replace the production they have gotten from sammy to this point but may have a lower overall ceiling compared to what sammy could potentially have it is based off of the hype of what sammy should have been, but for what he has actually done on the field, it doesnt seem bad. outside of buffalo, i dont think sammy has been viewed as highly as here.
  5. Pats, every year everyone thinks it will be different and the Pats will regress, then everyone else folds around them .....
  6. What was so horrible with what he wrote? It wasn't that horrible, and if he isn't a fit for this defence it's not a horrible idea to look into a trade. It's quite possible he doesn't look like he will be a fit because he hasn't had the time on the field, or it's possible he is one of those guys that doesn't fit a 4-3
  7. Maybe we should go steal one of the Browns HOFers to help coach someone here? Are there any? Or atleast any that would be young enough to help coach?
  8. Marrone said it Around here some still haven't gotten over being the jilted lover when Marrone left Everything he says or does is laughed at here
  9. I found most of the playlists on Satellite radio seemed to just be a loop, although maybe that is just when they do the free promotional weeks around some of the big holidays
  10. look at you Mr fancy pants Talk about where to by affordable polo shirts not exciting enough for you?
  11. Star wars 3po cereal as a kid Quaker harvest crunch was a close second and one I will still eat today. Also loved the rice crispy square cereal that was made for a short time. The Reese peanut butter cup cereal was pretty good too.
  12. I don't even see how it is much of a shot at buffalo, it doesn't even mention buffalo, but like usual bills fans take it personally. It was an innocent tweet about being excited to play more prime time games this year, that's all. Now since he is no longer a Bill, playing on the Pats, hopefully he get a exposed as being mediocre and get a torched on prime time, but only cause he is a Pat and not a Bill, not cause he said he is happy to play more prime time games.
  13. The cost to run an NFL franchise is so much more then an NBA franchise, it's not just players salary. There's more coaches and front office staff. There are also more injuries causing loss of players who then have to be replaced by others who will cost money. Larger venues that are harder to book for other events aside from the standard NFL schedule. It's not feasible to compare the 2 leagues. And it's funny how those who support the players always question those who call them greedy because the owners have more money. The owner also take on more risks. It doesn't cost a dime of their own money for someone to be a pro player, but it costs a lot to own a franchise so the pro players have a place to play. And just because they are already wealthy, it doesn't mean the owners have to be charities and do it all for nothing so the players can get rich. If your investing a billion dollars into something, you are going to expect a decent return on that investment. The owners aren't making the players do anything they don't want to, they aren't slave owners (even though I'm sure there are some who might say they are like them). If the players don't like what they are being paid to play a game that gives them almost half a year off every year, no one is making them do it. They all went to college, usually on a scholarship, go put that cheap/free education you got to use.....
  14. I believe Corgan made that announcement a few months ago, they were going to do a tour I believe, not sure about a new album though

  16. I just bought the entire series on DVD, started watching the early ones recently
  17. Saw them iirc after a snowstorm at UB where they were opening for Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlains band ZWAN. At least I believe they were opening for them, if not I saw them on another tour, it's been a while
  18. well considering what Copper is worth today you may have hit the jackpot
  19. Is this like whether it is acceptable to steal bread to feed your starving family?
  20. not defending Whaley here, but I don't see how it was a bad move drafting him, he showed he had a lot of talent, just nothing between the ears and can't keep himself clean for a few years of his life to make a living. There's no denying he has a lot of talent
  21. Love how he is complaining about Fitz having a job and not him.
  22. I don't see this team as Tanking right now. The are still good enough to win games and havent gutted there roster anymore then most teams would under a new coaching staff. Just because they didn't go hard after Decker or Maclin doesn't mean they are throwing the season to get the #1 overall pick, they may just not see the value in paying the price for those WRs, especially if the plan is similar to the last offence where the bulk of it is in the running game (which it appears from their moves it is) Now the jets, what they appear to be doing is tanking the season
  23. you know who weren't around when those horrible pats teams played? Same answer
  24. but do you know what school he went to? Someone told me one time, I think it was Harvard?
