  1. Hoax. You didn't guarantee anything. You just said something on the Internet. Anyhow, I'm not sure that this is the place to compare 1099s or 8960s. But whatever. I'll accept your list. Maybe we can work together to identify some dumb things that neither of us wants to pay for.
  2. Hoax. Masks + vaccines work to prevent spread and to keep hospitalization rates down. At ECMC 75% of hospitalization cases are unvaccinated patients. Maybe you want to cower in the face of COVID. I don't. I also don't want to pay for a more expensive COVID treatment for the fools who don't want to get a vaccine. The vax costs about $37/shot (purchase + transport + labor), and the Pfizer pill will cost about $529 for a full course of treatment. Hospitalization, of course, is much more expensive. And don't even get me started on paying for death costs associated with such morons. We shouldn't even put them in the cooler in the county morgue. Drag them outside and let the crows and squirrels have at it. I'd rather make them bird food than pay for electricity to store their COVID-invested bodies. That, my friends, is freedom of choice--my freedom to choose not to pay for someone lazy, brainwashed, or stupid when they get sick with an easily-preventable virus. I'm glad someone is doing something to protect that freedom.
  3. Don't want to get a safe vaccine for COVID? Cool. Just make sure when you inevitably get COVID that you shelter in place, maybe even die in place, and don't increase my insurance premiums through your unnecessary hospitalization or waste my tax dollars treating or convalescing on government dime. (Not that any anti-vaxxers would, because of their firm stance against socialism. Hoax. They all would because they're morons who love their social security and medicaid but aren't smart enough to realize that such reallocations are--gasp--socialism.) It's about time someone has suggested something like this with respect to health insurance exclusions. Freedom and capitalism at their finest! https://www.wgrz.com/article/news/health/rising-covid-cases-and-mask-restrictions-bring-renewed-criticism-and-political-attacks-covid-mask-virus-health/71-d5912b74-e854-4e1e-a82b-f89b88190983
  4. That happens right here in tidy Orchard Park. They nailed a Bills relative doing that about a month ago.
  5. Two wrongs make a right. Makes perfect sense. Hoax. It’s stupid.
  6. They have some options here. Kumerow is part of the COVID crew, which might make him ripe for a little vengeance from an obviously POed McD. And McKenzie’s carelessness should have been dealt with awhile ago. McKenzie is more useful than Kumerow at this point, so maybe Jake moves aside to make some space for Stevenson. Whatever. It’s time for a shakeup, and it almost doesn’t matter which screw up they dispose of. I’ll add this: I feel like Daboll has been setting up a deep shot to Kumerow in a “gotta have it” situation all year with this WR shuffling that invariably involves us either running or throwing horizontally when Kumerow and McKenzie come on the field together. So maybe that saves Jake for a bit. I don’t know. But one way to shake the malaise is with a roster move, and it’s time for a change. I vaguely recall carelessness is what got McKenzie cut in Denver. Two misadventures in the last two home games is not a good look for him.
  7. Please. This is where common sense takes over. If one takes a very narrow view of the relevant law with respect to justification, then Rittenhouse is not guilty. That’s the verdict, and that’s the way it is. We all have to respect that. If, however, one takes a broader, more practical view of the law, then his case is much more difficult. Was it a good idea for a kid to take an assault rifle to a messy scene like Kenosha? Definitely not. And, did his presence and activity with that rifle make him the initial aggressor? Different issue. Maybe so. Not what the jury concluded, but a conclusion that many a reasonable mind could reach. No matter how one views the outcome of this case, we seem—as a society—to have checked our heads at the door if we somehow think it’s a good idea to have a heavily armed child, or any heavily armed person who is not on-duty law enforcement, roaming the scene of what was fairly characterizable as a riot. The result, which was totally unnecessary and could have been avoided if this kid, who had no business being there in the first place, had simply stayed home and kept to himself. Matt Gaetz is a Republican. FYI. So is the Don who, last I checked, hung with Epstein.
  8. Really? What do dirty toenails have to do with anything? It’s an asinine comment. Disgusting. Not unusual. Typically the deal has an expiration date/time, an that expiration date/time almost never extends beyond jury selection.
  9. I don’t take a position as to whether the game should be played. But casting this as a racial inequity, in my view, is absurd.
  10. No. The Buffalo Bills have ruined my experience for the last month or so. And I neither gamble nor play fantasy football.
  11. Nothing against Beasley, but it's time to get Gabe Davis on the field and get more speed in the slot. Sanders kicks in, or we put another big body on the field. Whatever. We need more speed.
  12. I agree with everything about this except for Zack Moss's proficiency as a goal line back. He's not that. Our best short yardage back is Josh Allen. And it's not just because he's good at it. It's because he's the only one on this team who is good at it. It has been a problem for awhile. When we can't run the ball and can't protect well enough to take deep shots it is a major, major problem. Maybe that's it in a nutshell right there.
  13. Without getting into details I think they took the opener way too lightly. Coaching staff on down. Taking the day off that Thursday was a bad idea, as was screwing around the Friday before that game.
  14. I completely agree with this. I don’t know WTF is going on, but my comment today leaving that fiasco was that we are not sharp. Save for Cody Ford, there has been no consequence for poor, unfocused play. 19 should be the first example of that this week. 26 should have felt it a long time ago. 94 apparently is a problem in that respect, too. Enough is enough.
  15. I agree with all of this, save fir the part about Addison costing us a first down. We had a PI on Klein that was declined on the same play. Still, the points are well taken. It’s hard enough to win in this league. Then, probably a third of our team is not protected from an easily preventable reason to miss multiple games. I know McD takes COVID seriously — his was the only family masked on a flight to Orlando after last season and before COVID hit. And yet he WR3 blabs all over social media about freedom this and constitution that, LT1 darn near died and is probably still not back to good after his bout with COVID, PR1 treated it like a joke until he got his wake up call, LG1 felt the same way, and then got vaxxed, but not until he lost 20 pounds without telling his bosses, LG2 had his own COVID bout, RG2 is forced into action and is playing like a space cadet, RT1 inconveniently misses two games after his dust up with COVID, 1 tech DT 1 did the same thing, RB1 is beyond casual with the ball, the OC refuses to feed Diggs, and franchise QB1 is under constant duress. It is a freaking mess right now.
  16. I think there’s something to this. They don’t seem be having as much fun as last year. Somebody somewhere else said McD seems “checked out.” I don’t see that. But he strikes me as less enthusiastic lately than he had been earlier. I overheard a conversation in which McD was involved (sounds weird, but a Bills employee driving near me had the Bluetooth cranked) and I overheard about 15 seconds of a call in which McD sounded happy and fired up about the season. This was before the opener. Now …. Maybe sides were taken in the locker room, maybe he’s sick of the BS from Beasley and certain behaviors and choices, etc, of guys like star and brown. Maybe it’s trudging through a season they thought would be breezy and waiting for the playoffs. I don’t know. But something seems way off at One Bills Drive.
  17. It's going in OP on the ECC South footprint. Book it.
  18. From what I’ve heard one of the lead negotiators on the public side is on the way out. In a good way. Getting a promotion. That wouldn’t happen unless this thing was really close.
  19. Same here. Reminds me of Chad Penningnton, with a slightly less bad arm.
  20. Could be. I think the most likely thing is that Brown is out for the next two games. Hart might be insurance for that reason (behind Doyle), or he might be the swing tackle bc they’ve seen enough of Doyle for now. But, bottom line, doesn’t look good for brown this week or next. Edit - also suggests that Williams might stay at guard this week (which is what I would do and give bates a shot at RT). Who knows. Either way I can’t see them trotting out the starting five from the Jax game.
  21. Sanders might take his spot next year. More speed in the slot.
  22. I’m just going to say it. Gabe Davis is going to see much more action moving forward (the deep threat has been sorely lacking), and Sanders is going to start to kick into the slot and take some reps from Beasley. Won’t be popular, but we will be better for it. And, as far as the running backs go, I’m done with all of them. Singletary’s ball security issues are going to preclude second contract for him, Moss is the equivalent of a .250 hitter in baseball who does everything decently but nothing particularly well, and Breida is cast best with only a few touches a game.
  23. I think you're going to see Breida in to attack the edges and Allen under center a lot more. Going to let the offensive line get aggressive -- no more diddling around on read options all day -- and work its way out of this. That's the guess here. Improves the run game and gives play action a bit more bite.
  24. Oh no, big boy. That's no the issue. Do tell us about the justification defense. You seem to think you're pretty bright. So let's hear it. *** I'll hazard a guess. You have no clue what I'm talking about. Not a one. Which is not surprising. So "do your research" and, when you're done with that, you'll pretend to be smart and tell everyone what you learned. We await your knowledge, Buffalo Timmy.
  25. Please do educate us on the defense of justification, Buffalo Timmy. The world awaits your knowledge.
