  1. “They.” Nice. Blame it on the boogeyman. Kind of like Antifa I suppose. The good news is that the you tubers are so busy slugging ivermectin and HCQ that they don’t have time to watch stupid videos based on the “research” of internet “experts” whose vocations include operating lawnmowers, serving cheeseburgers, and separating paper from plastic on the line at the Tomra plant.
  2. Ironic that Chef Jim Crow would return to discuss an issue of race. Hoax. It’s not a surprise at all that you heard the dog whistle and sprinted to share your crowy views. What is so wild about this? Someone decided not to venerate a racist and a slaveholder. Some moderately literate snowflakes have a problem with it, and that’s too bad. Maybe they can storm city hall like they did the Capitol. Or they can get over the movement of a statue, visit them Jefferson memorial, and pay homage that way.
  3. Hoax. Elections have consequences. Move to NYC, run for office, and make it a campaign issue. Or stop whining about it. Either one.
  4. Hoax. They had a say. They voted for those who appointed the committee to which the City Council delegated certain authority in this area. Democracy 1, B-Man 0. Don’t like it? Move to NYC, make some friends there, and run for council.
  5. He also was one of the most notorious racists of his era. So maybe he’s not someone who should be venerated in that location. Or, perhaps the veneration should tell the whole story, namely, that he was a timeless political theorist, that he bravely prepared the Declaration of Independence, that the nation is indebted to his courage and loquaciousness, and that, in his view, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness were not available to almost all African-Americans in that time. Either way, I believe in the choice as to who we venerate. And somebody chose not to venerate Thomas Jefferson anymore. Such is life.
  6. I think it was 97 who also piled on Allen’s legs while he was down. If they’re going to call RTP on Oliver, then they have to call it there (on Clark, but frankly the later hit was deserving as well), too.
  7. I really think the rain made a difference there.
  8. Biggest road win since 1993. Enjoy the win and forget about what WR3 thinks or doesn’t think about his usage.
  9. My investment portfolio says otherwise. Have a nice day, hoaxer!
  10. Section 8, huh? Mocking those who can’t afford reasonable housing, I see. WWJD? Based on my understanding, probably not denigrate the poor. Have a nice day. Coming from the same guy who believes that Trump was the healthiest president ever. I have the grain of salt right next to me.
  11. Joe Biden on his worst day is better than Donald Trump on his best day. Have a nice afternoon, traitors.
  12. I suspect it's just due diligence. Expect Orchard Park. There's probably a negotiation element to this, too; Kathy can feign interest in the downtown location with the higher price during her negotiations with the legislature and "settle" on the Orchard Park option everyone probably preferred all along.
  13. Like I said earlier, and well before the release of video #2, Urban Meyer is a phony and a scumbag. He’s on his way out in Jax. This will end in either a resignation or a “resignation” in which the phony explains his need to step away to focus on the health of his family, the Bible, and whatever else he feels like besmirching with yet another one of his lies.
  14. Totally disagree on the stadium. It is outstanding. Love every minute there. The hit of the game was Gilliam destroying the upback on punt protection. Heard it 30ish rows up. Time for more Gabe Davis in the red zone, too. Frankly I wouldn’t mind mixing Davis in a bit with Diggs and putting Sanders’s speed in Beasleys spot in the slot. Bob Foster did well in that role here and there a few years ago.
  15. Sanders looks like someone they would like to bring back. There’s plenty of time between now and “then,” but this Beasley stuff seems like it’s going to be a recurring distraction.
  16. Agreed, but the kids and family stay out of it. And it stops at the stadium gates.
  17. If that’s the case, then something should be done. That’s not right. Way over the line.
  18. I sit in the lower bowl (good seats) and I’m not hearing it. Not at all. And that’s probably where such commentary would be made.
  19. I disagree with this. People have the right to speak their mind. It’s the American way. I’m telling you, though: I’ve never had a drink inside that stadium, and I’ve had a total of one drink in the parking lot outside of that stadium in 35 years. (It was before the Jets game we lost on the KO return in OT during the Bledsoe years.) I don’t hear what Cole is talking about. Not a peep.
  20. I’m there stone sober at least 30 minutes before intros and I have to say I haven’t heard anyone boo that guy. Not a peep. So the whole “tired of getting booed” thing is nonsense.
  21. What happened to Bible study? Urban Meyer is a phony and a scumbag. It’s too bad this video was taken; I was hoping he’d stick around in Jax to ruin Lawrence. Now he might be out of there. Too bad.
  22. That’s interesting. I was at the other end of the stadium, and I didn’t see the upback on botched KO. On the next KO I thought Jones had that side. So maybe they flipped after the botch.
  23. I’m aware. It’s not his fault they positioned as they did for the kick. If anything, it was on Taiwan Jones to fair catch that ball.
  24. I initially wondered if it was planned. The next KO went to the same part of the field and (I believe) carried into the end zone. Still, though, the wind was significant, and it definitely would have pushed the ball away from McKenzie on that KO. So I’m with you - probably just one of those things, and an instance in which we’d like Taiwan Jones to be a little more aware. He did. He hit the brakes. Watching it live in the stadium I didn’t think he could get there and probably worried about the ball bouncing over his head.
