Abortion Basically Illegal In Texas Now

“Properly-done study is out there.” But not here. Any time you want to prove it exists, instead of cryptically pretending that it exists, let us know. Until then, don’t dust off space on the mantle for the 2022 Nobel. Or get yourself busy saving lives with HCQ and horse dewormer. Dealer’s choice. -
Yes. Thank you. I’ve been in that stadium for 35 years. Since the advent of the iPhone, I have a hard time on the way out of the games telling whether we won or lost because everyone leaving is on the phone looking at their stupid fantasy teams and stupid online betting.
-
All day long. Give me real football. If I want to gamble, I do it on things that can feed my family. Like the stock market. One of the things I particularly detest about fantasy is the reduction of the human/emotional component of sports. The idea that “momentum” or emotion don’t matter is obtuse to me. Ever play team sports? You don’t want to let your buddy down. Ask the Army about the buddy system. None of this stuff occurs in a vacuum.

That’s what gets you cheese drafts and vending machine sagas. They have to fill time somehow, and they’re too lazy to do it with guests.

I completely agree with the first paragraph. Completely. Well said. What stuns me about their show is that it sounds every day like they’re just mailing it in. A good producer lines up guests and makes the show different, and entertaining, and interesting. They do the same nonsense day after day with some loser who opines about fantasy football. People are starving for content right now, and these guys don’t work hard enough/are too lazy/both to give it to them. Frankly, if these guys put a little work in they probably could end the show at 6:30 most non-game nights. Get a couple of interviews, book them in the 3 or 4PM hour, and drop it in from the can at 6:30 to get out of there sooner. (Dickerson and Bob Gaughan killed the last half hour with this approach frequently.). There’s times when it’s tough, but parenting is way better than arguing about some dumb guillotine league or whatever it is these guys waste their time on. (Says the guy killing a few minutes on an Internet message board.) Wanna bet? Play the stock market and make it worth your while. When I hear someone talking about fantasy sports, I hate to say it but my first reaction always is that they are a loser.

Maybe there is some truth to the first sentence. People nowadays tend to watch a news network that tells them what they want to hear. You and I simply can’t agree to the extent you’re in any way justifying what occurred on January 6th. If you don’t believe that it was an insurrection, then there’s nothing more for us to say to each other on the subject. -

That wasn’t at issue. But of course politicians lie. We just lived through four years of Donald Trump. We’ve lived through Bill Clinton, Joe McCarthy, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and even Andrew Cuomo. Now we’re dealing with Kevin McCarthy and his nonsense about how the Insurrection was a rambunctious but peaceful enterprise. Who lies, and how the lies are communicated, remains in dispute. But the premise that “politicians lie,” in my view, cannot be disputed at this point in time. -
That’s Wings. Not my scene. Not sure if the secret path there is still open. I believe the Bills fenced their side of the creek a few years ago. But the reality is the cut through is unnecessary if you’re willing to walk an extra five or so minutes each way.

I can’t deal with S&B anymore. I just can’t. I’m not into fantasy football. So there’s really nothing for me to listen to. Although I have to say, hearing them drone on about which draft in which they’re involved makes me feel like less of a loser and a better parent. I could not imagine having kids, trying to parent well, and participating in dozens of stupid fantasy football leagues.

Not true. Park on California. Leave south on California to ellis. Left on ellis, right on Taylor and either run it into the village on new Taylor or south to 20a/219. You’re welcome for the secret local shortcut. Southwestern to union to William/33 might work, too. Visiting teams take southwestern to union to the airport after games to beat the traffic.

That’s not necessarily true. We have a long-standing scientific dispute here about HCQ that now has broadened to cover Ivermectin. Those issues are black and white. I’m sure there are other simmering disputes that fall into that category, too. -

Isn't the translation thou shall not murder? I suppose it doesn't make a difference in the abortion context, but the semantical distinction is interesting in other areas. I suppose it might justify the (utterly obtuse and hypocritical) view that any form of abortion is wrong, but executing pursuant to the death penalty is morally acceptable. -
You mean like the lower middle class white guys who vote Republican? Those are the dumb ones to me. It takes a special kind of deluded to consistently and proudly vote against your own interests. Walton is a terrible candidate who won a primary on a protest vote. Brown is going to run her over in the general. Minimum four point win. Normally I’d say a Republican could never be mayor of Buffalo. But against India, all bets are off. I’d gladly take Carl Paladino before her, and that’s saying something.

If not posting knowingly false information is a litmus test for acceptability, there’s no way a moderator will work here. That’s sort of the crux of the whole thing here. We generally dispute what is and what is not the truth. A sad commentary on the state of affairs applicable to society in general — policy disputes gave way to disinformation and battles not about ideas or principles, but about credibility. -

You could, you know, show us the science. Especially since so many people still die as a result of this virus. Your miracle cure could save lives. Might even get you a prize. You could be the 2022 winner of the Nobel for physiology or medicine. The world demands no less, “Doc.” -

Hoax. You didn’t. Because it doesn’t exist. Have a nice night, hoax man. Just don’t write any scripts for HCQ or ivermectin for patients who have COVID. -

And . . . still no science, "Doc." I don't take requests from phonies like you, but I'll make an exception today. Here's a "Doc"ument: Dear "Doc": Please show us the science upon which you base your position that HCQ and Ivermectin are both effective prophylactics and treatments with respect to COVID-19. Otherwise, we will continue to understand your position in those respects to be groundless. Or, in layman's terms, a hoax. Yours, etc. SectionC3 -

Still no science. Put down the dewormer and get to work, “Doc.” -
Good point. This is weird, but the cemetery on the southwestern Blvd side of the stadium has always fascinated me. Just so … odd … to see that tucked away about 100 yards from stadium gates. But definitely get there early, walk the stadium, and walk the lots before the game. That walk down the old drive five from southwestern to the stadium is simply the best.

Hoax. You have no science to support your position, “Doc.” Maybe if you mix HCQ and horse dewormer you’ll get a better result. Keep us posted. -
There’s a couple of places by the stadium. Kind of crappy, TBH. Try the Hampton in West Seneca. Quick shot to OP and stadium. I think one can stay in East Aurora, too. Hutch’s and Left Bank are great suggestions. Left Bank is probably booked, but Hutch’s might have openings. Be ready to pay big bucks, but probably not as much as the (grossly overrated) chop house.
