  1. Hoax. You made the statement that I have failed to comply with Rule #2. If/when the revolution ends, please prove it in accordance with Rule #2. Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation.
  2. I’m sorry, but your intransigence has required the invocation of Rule #2 here. When you have a break in the revolution, please support your wild theories with a link or links. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
  3. Earlier. I don’t do your homework for you, Chef Jim Crow. Put the spatula down, stop mainlining HCQ, and get to work. Hint: it involves a link to sworn court papers summarizing the relevant events and points in a way better than could I, and you commented on the post. Happy hunting, insurrectionist.
  4. Hoax. I did. Spend less time posting stupid cartoons and more time reading carefully.
  5. Russ Brandon hated it. Said it was like a warehouse. I’d be surprised if the Pegulas prefer that model.
  6. “Doc” is a bit testy this morning (or triggered, if you will). He doesn’t like people pointing out that he follows junk science.
  7. Hoax. I did. You just didn’t do your homework. Put the spatula down and get on it, Chef Jim Crow.
  8. Me too. Quicker and faster than I expected. He should make that team.
  9. You like to pretend. Typically you pretend that you didn't fall for Trump's HCQ hoax. Now, you're pretending that mortality is the only measure of effect of COVID. Maybe you could also pretend that you're a pilot, or simply hire a real pilot, rent a crop duster, and crop-dust as much of Florida as you can with HCQ so we can keep our friends in Florida safe. That may be the only way out of this mess.
  10. Maybe we should airlift some HCQ to Florida to squelch this outbreak. Or maybe give it to those kids in ICUs. With a zpac, Lysol, and zinc, of course. Right, “Doc?”
  11. What is this, Jeopardy? Grab your spatula and whip up a comprehensible response.
  12. Neither was Trump, and that’s the problem I have with Insurrection Jim & Co.
  13. Insurrection Jim is a good one. Maybe you can lead your comrades in the revolution with a spatula. The next step toward reconciliation is admitting that Donald Trump encouraged the insurrection, and that the insurrection threatened our democracy.
  14. The first step to healing is admitting that the insurrection was wrong.
  15. Not in the eyes of the law he didn’t. She shouldn’t have been there. She shouldn’t have behaved in a threatening manner. The idea that, somehow, officer error contributed to her death is ludicrous. It’s too bad that somebody had to bury a loved one, but let’s be clear. Her death is the result of her error, and nothing about her behavior on the day in question deserves veneration.
  16. I’m hearing the same thing. I know that EC has been preparing for this day. I assume the state would have been doing the same thing. I just don’t trust that the stadium deal is done until it actually gets done. Logic tells me that it’s going to happen. But I’m guarded in my optimism, especially after what occurred with Amazon in NYC. Bottom line: hopefully Kathy makes this a top priority (in addition to the sea of other things she has to do) and gets this thing moving ASAP. Quite honesty, if I was her, I’d put Poloncarz in charge of the deal because he’s exceptionally competent, he knows the game, they know him, and he can get it done fast.
  17. I’m still waiting on your selection of your second favorite terrorist. I’m not sure if you’re a Unabomber guy or a Shoe Bomber guy. Maybe you prefer Dylann Roof. I don’t know. Either way, we really need to drill down on this issue. Maybe you and Doc could even have a Terrorist Draft in which you select your favorite terrorists. I can see it now: “Chef Jim Crow is trading DoQ Eric Rudolph and a first-round selection in next year’s draft for the KKK and a seventh-round pick in 2023.” Great stuff!
  18. Stick to the subject, Chef Jim Crow. You fellas seems to like terrorists a lot. I’m just curious which other terrorists you like. Is it the Unabomber? Maybe the Shoe Bomber guy? You guys might want to get baseball/terrorist cards made so you can trade them amongst each other. Like, you could trade a Unambomber rookie for a Babbitt. Might be cool. Give it a shot.
  19. Any other terrorists you like? Maybe you’re an Eric Rudolph fan. Or perhaps you’re a Unambomber guy. Let us know.
  20. If they were breaking into the Capitol and trying to overthrow the government (like your deceased pal Ashlii), then yes.
  21. Hoax. Also, I’m alive. Unlike the domestic terrorist whom you insist upon venerating.
  22. Correction. She WAS a terrorist. And now she’s dead.
  23. It’s almost like Tim Graham read this before he wrote his recent article. Hamburg. She’s from the burg.
  24. There but for the grace of . . . never mind. Agreed. It's one thing to go. It's another thing to stay, especially once Osama bin Laden was eliminated.
  25. I’ll say it again. It’s not going downtown. It’s time to put that hope to rest. Say the state says that we’ll provide $600mil for a new stadium. The cost in OP probably comes in around $900mil, from what I’ve gathered. The Pegulas then cover $300mil for the stadium. Maybe some of that is NFL money, maybe some of it is a 1031 from the sale of the Sabres (I’m assuming that’s happening). Whatever. Either way, it’s a $300mil bite in OP. Downtown is different. There are land acquisition costs that they don’t have in OP. There are infrastructure issues (new entrances/exits on the 190; reconstruction of arterial roads, perhaps a new practice facility, etc.). There’s electric issues, sewer issues, parking issues . . . A whole raft of things that I wouldn’t normally think about. Now, say the infrastructure costs requires a $1.2b outlay for the project. All of a sudden (I’m sure everyone’s shedding crocodile tears for the rich folks now), the Pegulas need another $300m—for a total of $600m—to cover the costs of the stadium. What’s the likelihood they recover that $300m in a time sufficient to justify the cost of that capital? Post-pandemic, my guess is that it doesn’t happen. Hence the focus on Orchard Park.
