  1. To the “this is unconstitutional” crowd (I’m not going to go back to find the post where the contention is raised): It’s one thing to say this requirement is unconstitutional. It’s another to prove it. Or to even so much as put your finger on the constitutional provision or freedom alleged to have been violated or infringed. Until someone can specify the constitutional basis for the allegation of the deprivation of liberty, I suggest that all such posts be removed. I also suggest that all of the whining about “freedom” end. You have the freedom to refuse the vax. The Bills have the freedom to tell you to stay home until you get the vax. Such is the price of liberty, I suppose. In the meantime, I will enjoy my Sundays at Highmark much, much more now that I don’t have the lingering concern about brining COVID home to my children as a result of a breakthrough infection that I acquired in a gratuitous leisure activity. Maybe. But that’s exactly what the Bills did here. It’s a decision based on public health that the Bills have supported for business reasons. They took care of themselves. Good for them. Can’t wait for the next home game.
  2. It involves a pedantic and hypertechnical use of the word stop.
  3. This is just dumb. It’s also misinformation. Here’s the reality. The county and PSE stand together on this issue. One of beauties of the capitalist society in which we live is that businesses (such as PSE) have the right to engage in non-discriminatory practices. You, the consumer, have the right to disagree with those practices by closing your wallet. Don’t want the vax? Don’t go to the games and don’t open your wallet. And don’t complain about discrimination, because you’re not part of a protected class.
  4. It was a really early crowd. The stadium was nearly full at 12:48p when I looked at my watch. Very unusual.
  5. I loved the flea flicker. Great call, just didn’t work.
  6. I remember the play well. The difference is that the pitch went to the same side as the fake sneak to bait the edge defender. Ran it against SF, I believe, over the left side. Now it’s even more aggravating bc they put the concept on film in the PS. (I believe against Chicago). I was surprised when it happened in the PS; I thought they should have saved it.
  7. I don’t think you and I disagree. I give him a little bit of the benefit of the doubt on the sanders miss because the flags behind Bob Kalsu’a name we’re close to stiff. But otherwise … we have to hit some of these balls.
  8. Agreed. He just doesn’t throw well with arc. His best deep balls are crossers and stuff to the left. Deep to the right is a weak spot for him. Diggs (Denver?) is the first one to the right that I recall him hitting in awhile.
  9. He should have made the throw. I will say this, though. The wind was significant and it oils have pushed the ball behind sanders. Still, the pint remains: lead him away from the defender lay it out in front of him. As much as I didn’t like the Breida call on fourth down, it’s much more of an indictment of the line than it is of daboll.
  10. The White call was marginal. White grabbed the received around the receiver’s hips. It was the kind of thing that gets let go a lot. The Wallace PI was the right call.
  11. What hurts about this loss is that it’s probably the first time with McDermott that we lost a game we were expected to win. I felt like we were out coached yesterday. Josh was off and we simply had no answers. I still don’t understand the offensive game plan, and we simply got too cute at times. But behind all of that, I frankly feel like the offense was rusty and I suspect McDermott is not happy with some of the preparations. In hindsight, skipping the Thursday practice was not a good plan. And from what I heard, they had players arriving late to the stadium because of traffic (which was a nightmare even in the back roads). All of that adds up to not ready to play.
  12. It’s nuts around the stadium right now. Can’t even get close. They needed the escort.
  13. Are you saying that you would shoot those cops? I’m being serious. Because the black community has been dealing with nonsense like this for decades.
  14. Let him run. Poll numbers declining. There is a lot of time to change that, but right now they're not good. My guess is that women hate the guy, and that it's only going to get worse. So I hope to see him escape the primary in 2024. Rubio is the one that I'd be worried about.
  15. I question how his little gambit about making things easier for kids to get into ICUs as a result of a preventable illness is going to go over with suburban moms. The red meat eating, cheap booze guzzling, Ivermectin popping, hoax prone crowd here will love it. But I'm not sure that's a swell plan to sell to someone who doesn't want to worry about her kid dying because maskless little Billy sneezed on him and spread an aerosolized virus when they were playing blocks. Don't forget that they love their death penalty there, too. Pro life. For fetuses. But not for people.
  16. He’s an aristocrat who took advantage of poor, dumb white guys. No surprise that he’s beloved by some here.
  17. Did you stay at a Holiday Inn last night?
  18. Gut punch! Hoax.
  19. We wish it was. We all wish that it was.
  20. Biden Derangement Syndrome at its finest. The cure? HCQ and more HCQ. With a chaser of Ivermectin.
  21. And a good day to you too, sir. Because the unvaccinated are generally stupid, and the stupid are generally not well-off financially. Sad and harsh, but true. Then again, this is ‘Merica, so if someone doesn’t want the vax and don’t want the weekly test, she or he is welcome to look for a new job. Just don’t collect unemployment during the stay on the beach. Because, socialism and all.
  22. Safe and effective with respect to a virus that didn’t then exist. I thought I’d heard all of the right-wing delusions. I guess I was wrong. Apparently overconsumption of HCQ causes disorientation with respect to time.
  23. Sounds like you’re on your way to a pizza place in DC right now.
