  1. Crayonz? That you?

  3. This is the brother of a friend of mine. I heard an interview with him on the Bob and Tom Show this morning. It was his fifth attempt at this. It sounded like they were 5 separate events. He said he used 8 of his own balls and the others were off the rack. He works at the alley he did the stunt at. He said if he had to try again, he would go from lane 10 to lane 8 instead of going all the way back to lane 1. He bowled his first 300 game at 20 yrs old. He admitted it was a stunt and not a real "game". Sounded like a pretty cool guy.
  4. Sadly, Earthquake Enyart passed in 2015
  5. Saw him at Melody Fair when I was a kid. I still remember how hilarious he was, especially when sparring with people in the crowd. Extremely quick wit. He could slice and dice you to pieces before you knew what hit you. RIP

  7. Perhaps they should start first by hiring some talent.
  8. Could another team still come in and make another, higher offer sheet?
  9. You must have meant to say "for all intensive purposes". You're welcome. This must be the question Tyrod is asking his agent as well.
  10. http://www.patspulpit.com/2017/3/8/14845410/patriots-bill-belichick-saw-a-strong-downhill-runner-in-bills-restricted-free-agent-mike-gillislee "His slashing style and 5-foot-11, 219-pound frame bode well between the tackles and also outside of them. And at 26 years old and with just 169 career offensive touches, his NFL odometer remains low. Those selling points may not be enough to bring Gillislee to Foxborough more than once a year. Having looked on as Hogan departed in a similar capacity, there’s reason to think the Bills won’t let the Patriots call the same play twice. But on the surface, it’d make sense for Belichick’s side to try."
  11. Very interesting. I can see the mental stumbling block with this. You go out to kick a FG and 33 yds is a gimme. You go out to kick a XP that used to be a 19 yd automatic, and now it's 33 yds. Big difference in looking at that 33 yd XP.
  12. Logically correct. But the financials only work if they sign Tyrod to the extension and then cut him after June 1.
  13. Would have. I just stated it without your double negative.
  14. I'm with you - a cheap rookie would have done much worse than Shady.
  15. As the Bills greatest QB of all-time, Flutie was only 4' 11". As I tell my girl, size doesn't matter.
  16. If we ever make the playoffs again, we'll party like its 1999
  17. What high school would want them? Those lights are so 1999.....
  18. Instant Replay by Jerry Kramer is an old classic but very good in showing how player size, training, game planning etc have all changed radically.
  19. Best Tyrod thread by far
  20. Since there's no games to watch (other than DVDs of games from the 80s and 90s), I'm breaking out my Bills library. Personal favorite: "OJ Education of a Rich Rookie". Behind the scenes look at the 1969 season that's pretty revealing and entertaining. Lots of stories about the last days of the 1960s Bills crew, including Maguire, Day, Kemp, Shaw and many more. Great photos and lots of game day details. Enjoyed this as a kid and it still holds up for me. I have a dozen or so Bills books written by or about former players and coaches. Many good ones in there and some real stinkers. Interested to hear about others' favorites.....
  21. OJ is being paroled soon! At 69, he's still faster than most 68-year olds.
  22. He's the unknown Bills LB that had two threads started a minute apart during a slow news day. Bet one of the threads gets to 5 pages!
  23. I have always said there were a bunch of dim bulbs at OBD
