  1. Quick question for you all... When Lancel, of the Faith Militant, leaves the Church to get Cercei for her trial, he sees a suspicious looking child which he follows to his doom. My question is... what did he find so suspicious with the kid that would make him forget his orders to retrieve Cercei?
  2. Who gives a rats ass??? Let's go Buffalo!
  3. I'm so jealous to hear this. There's nothing like a Dead show. I've seen them many times... Rochester x2, Buffalo x5, Denver x2, and Portland. (Portland being the only bad experience, just because the crowd had a really bad/drugged up vibe.) Now, living in New Zealand, I know that I'll never see them again. Enjoy 'em while you still have 'em!
  4. Wow. What a great episode. That was easily the best battle/cavalry charge I've ever seen. Just epic. Plus, it was soooo good to see that bastard Ramsey get his comeuppance.
  5. Recent reports about strange lights, down here on the South Island. http://www.stuff.co.nz/the-press/news/81042630/man-films-mystery-objects-in-night-sky http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/81126150/mysterious-bright-sphere-over-christchurch-latest-in-record-of-unexplained-kiwi-ufos
  6. I agree. I thought I had a good handle on what was going on with the whole Arya/faceless man thing, but now am totally confused. All I know, is that the storyline damn-well better pay off, because it's been dragging down this show for a long time now.
  7. Yeah, it's great to have the Hound back. He adds a lot to whatever is taking place around him. (It's also good to see Bronn come back into the story.) That said, the Hound said that "hate" is what fuelled his desire to live. Who do you reckon his hate is directed at?
  8. A pretty boring episode last night. This whole Arya storyline either needs to get going or just end.
  9. Ah man, so sorry to hear about your loss. There's nothing like a good dog. A true friend for life.
  10. I'm really looking forward to tonight's episode. (Airing in a couple hours, down here.) This season has been really fun to watch so far. A LOT of stuff happening.
  11. Your can't beat the Harvest Pilsner from Sprig and Fern Brewing. Too bad you can only get it here in New Zealand!
  12. Well, that's an angle I never thought about. Interesting.
  13. Yeah, I’ve been to Tahiti/Moorea before and loved it. (Nothing like a beautiful wahine speaking in French.) However, there’s just something about Raro. It's just sooooo laid back and easy. The Cook Islands are cheaper that French Polynesia, uses the same currency as here (NZ dollars), is only a 4-hour flight from Auckland and isn’t nearly as “touristy” as other islands. The snorkelling and diving is also world class. Rarotonga and Fiji are the islands that Kiwis tend to travel to the most, because of these reasons. You should check it out sometime! That said, if you’ve never been to the South Island of New Zealand (where I live), you need to do yourself a favour and come out here for a couple weeks. It’s easily the most beautiful place I’ve ever been.
  14. We're heading back to Rarotonga (Cook Islands) in August. Can't wait. Love it there. Most chilled out place I've ever been.
  15. All I can say is, "Webster, where life is worth living."
  16. Wish I could join all of you up there for the home opener. I'll sure be there in spirit though!
  17. Thanks for posting this, Rhino. It's the first I've heard of this, and it sounds very exciting.
