  1. Way to go, Buffalo! Anyway, Merry Christmas from New Zealand!
  2. I haven't followed much of this story at all, so don't really know a lot of the details. That said, what makes him a hypocrite?
  3. Sorry... he may have played well the last few weeks, but I still believe he's over-rated, and he's quit on plays. Should we get rid of him? Probably not.
  4. 1987 U2- The Joshua Tree REM - Document INXS - Kick Grateful Dead - In the Dark Guns n' Roses - Appetite for Destruction John Cugar Mellencamp - The Lonesome Jubilee The Cult - Electric Midnight Oil - Diesel and Dust Even though it was released the year prior; the foul taste of "Genesis - Invisible Touch" was still strong in my mouth. (I used to be a bigtime Genesis fan.)
  5. No doubt, if you're talking about Seantrel. High as a kite.
  6. A fantastic American IPA made here in New Zealand. Dump The Trump - Behemoth Brewery, Auckland NZ "This beer will build a wall of hops around your taste buds and make Mexico pay for it." http://www.stuff.co.nz/life-style/food-wine/drinks/77696287/auckland-brewery-creates-antitrump-beer
  7. Well, the earthquake was down here on the South Island and not way up in Auckland. We certainly didn't sleep through it. It wad easily the strongest quake I've ever felt. Unfortunately the Kaikoura coast is totally buggered. They say the coast raised about 2 metres! (6ft)
  8. Here's a great shot of the main highway along the east coast of the South Island.
  9. Yeah, we're all good here in Nelson, but that was one helluva quake. It hit here a little after midnight and just kept going. Many aftershocks too. Check out this photo from the Kaikoura coast. (Just about 2 hours from here.)
  10. Tell me about it. Plus it was really shallow. (I think only 15kms.)
  11. Nope, the Hobbits and Lucy are all ok, thankfully. The main problem is that our local grocery store lost all of their wine stock from off of their shelves!!!
  12. All good down here. Sun just came up and don't see any damage. Biggest quake I've ever felt. It just kept going on and on. With many aftershocks throughout the night.
  13. Exactly! Yeah, I moved out of Webster way back in 1990 and then spent 10 years in Colorado, before moving to Washington State for the next 5. Time has ripped by, Sorry, never heard of Maria's. (I'm assuming that's back in Webster?)
