  1. For some reason there's been some UFO chatter in the New Zealand media lately. It probably has a bit to do with this latest US Navy footage. (in above post) One news show had a short segment on every day for a week, about the "Kaikoura lights" incident that occurred in 1978. I gotta admit, it was really interesting to hear the old-timers talk about what happened. Here's a link about it that I just found... http://www.rense.com/general44/newz.htm
  2. I'd like to , once again, point out that this "Badthingsman" is different from me. Yikes.
  3. Good player, but I have a hard time rooting for a guy like this. Is there a link for this story?
  4. All the best Hot Rod!
  5. Sure... why would a rookie QB need a good o-line in front of him?
  6. Don't let the door hit you on the way out!
  7. The first player that always comes to mind is Erik Flowers, our first round pick in the 2000 draft.
  8. I was just looking through the local news and saw this story. (About an American tourist causing an accident by driving on the wrong side of the road.) https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/crime/101893120/american-causes-crash-after-driving-on-wrong-side-of-the-road
  9. "All" of the handgun murders?? For cripes sake, where do you live?
  10. All the very best to you, Jimbo!
  11. When I used to live in Colorado, we would avoid cars with Wyoming plates like the plague. They were horrible drivers. That said, foreign visitors driving in New Zealand have to be the worst. Most aren't used to driving in the left lane, and many Asian drivers have barely any actual driving experience before coming here. On top of all that, our South Island roads are very twisty and incredibly scenic, so many drivers spend time looking at the beautiful landscape instead of the road in front of them. It's gotten to the point that I'm considering getting rid of my motorcycle. Too many close calls. Here's a shot of my bike on the lower South Island.
  12. It got Grandma! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0veiTgUQLKw
  13. I may be in the minority here, but I can't stand how players have "Jr." or "III" on their jerseys. Now this. (He certainly sounds like a very impressive guy, though.)
  14. Shane Conlan with the thickest neck I've ever seen. He was a great player, but I'll always first think of his neck, whenever his name is mentioned.
  15. I honestly can't believe people actually believe this crap. How about the different time zones? I live in New Zealand, where it's daylight right now. (8:00 pm) In New York, it's now 2 in the morning and dark. How would this be possible if the earth wasn't round?
  16. Up until this year, New Zealand has only won a single medal at the Winter Olympics. (A silver in 1992 for the women's slalom.) Today we won 2 medals! Woo hoo!
  17. That's Valerie Adams. She is a legend in New Zealand. Double Olympic gold medallist, and four-time world champion shot-putter and big sister of Steven Adams. (Oklahoma City Thunder.) She comes from a big family of really big people.
  18. Cook Islands (Rarotonga) again this winter.
  19. The "Waste Management Open"?
  20. There’s been a lot of discussion on this board regarding the Zone Blocking Scheme that the Bills ran this year. Most of the discussion centers on the fact that it hasn’t been as successful as other schemes that we ran in previous years. Many on this board have laid the blame solely on the Offensive Line Coach, Juan Castillo. Is this fair? My question is… Who exactly is responsible for the blocking scheme, the OC or the OL Coach? I would imagine that the OL Coach is simply doing what the OC is telling him to do. Is all the Castillo hate justified?
  21. I wonder how much of an influence, Eric's retirement, will have on Kyle. Are they both the longest serving Bills, on the current roster?
  22. I didn't realise that he (Wood) played every offence snap this season. That is incredibly impressive after his all of his injuries. All the very best to you Eric!
