Two weeks ago, I was doing a subdivision inspection where my coworker got his finger tip ripped off by a manhole lid. (The lid came crashing down on his hand.) It was friggin' awful!

Your dad was probably too high to remember. Just joking. I certainly remember hearing them play Truckin' at least a couple times that I saw them in Buffalo. Just like how they always seemed to play China Cat/Rider whenever I saw them in Denver. ("I wish I was a headlight on a northbound train. I'd shine my light through the cool Colorado rain...") I miss those boys.

With all due respect, if that's all you remember about him, you may consider getting your head checked.

It's been 13+ years since we moved down here and I gotta say that it still messes with my head when Christmas and summer approaches at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I actually love it, but it's still weird. Our Christmas brings in the beginning of summer kinda like how Memorial Day is in the US. Barbeque, Beaches, Beer and 3 weeks off!
