My thoughts on this have changed dramatically during the last week.
Although I still believe Whaley has some very positive attributes, I think the Pegs need to wipe the slate clean.
The Bills entire organization is simply used to losing, from the top down.
They need to root out the entire culture of losing and replace it with an entirely new philosophy of winning.
In order to do this, you need to reseed it with people that know and expect winning.
My ideal situation would be for the Pegs to bring in someone like a Tom Coughlin who would oversee the "big picture" of the organization for the first 2 -3 years.
We would also need to make a huge bid to bring in one of the Patriots coordinators to be the HC and make Nick Caserio (Patriots Dir. of Player Personel) our new GM.
It's a pipe dream, I know, but why not try to pluck the young talent from the best organization in football. These guys know what winning is all about.
