  1. How could we be "fair weather" fans without having "fair weather"?
  2. I lived in Colorado from 1990 to 2000. I couldn't friggin' stand the Broncos while living there. (unfortunately those were their good years too.) We then moved to Washington State for 5 years (southern Washington State, near Portland Oregon) and you barely even heard about the Seahawks. Heck, I now live in New Zealand where no one knows anything about "Gridiron", or "American Football" as the Kiwi's call it. Let's go Buffalo!
  3. I think the Bills new uniforms are fantastic, but I'm not a fan of the blue on blue. San Diego in their powder blues are right up there with 'em. As for hockey... I love the Sabres, but you can't beat the Blackhawks. Colorado State University had the perfect football uniform, but I think recently changed them. That being said... the mighty NZ All-Black rugby team takes the prize. Let's go All Blacks!
  4. We don't we all just wait and see what the actual facts are instead of making up all of these crazy speculations?
  5. What a great interview. What more would you want in a player? We all knew that he has always been solid on the field, but man, does he sound like he's the perfect team member in the locker room. Way to go Kyle!
  6. Sending you positive thoughts and prayers from New Zealand. God bless you, buddy.
  7. We were all pretty confident that my former CEO was a sociopath. Fortunately, I got out of there as fast as I could. (and found a much better job by doing so!)
  8. I gotta say that it was the hiring of Buddy Nix. He set this team up for the future. (To where we now find ourselves.) Before he came aboard, this entire organization was a dumpster fire.
  9. We're very happy with our house and property. The house itself is in need of a major renovation, (original 1950's kitchen, bathroom and even original hot water cylinder!) but the property is awesome. We sit on a sea bluff overlooking Tasman Bay. (Top of the south island of New Zealand.) The site is private and the views are mindblowing. (Ocean views with snow-capped mountains; lighthouse; sea birds and ships.) Later this year, we hope to build a workshop/studio for the wife and I and then focus on updating the house itself. I can't wait to see the finished result.
  10. Yeah, I'd certainly begin with a smaller bike for a year or two. I'd actually recommend getting a little dual-sport as a first bike. (Kawasaki 250 KLX or similar.) This will give you a chance to hone your motorcycling skills and let you explore more than just pavement. When you're ready to take the next step, I personally recommend a bike like mine. Triumph Tiger 1050 Sport. GREAT all-around bike. Good luck, enjoy and PAY ATTENTION!
  11. Where will I be? Nelson, New Zealand of course! (Keeping track of everything online.)
  12. The Jets finale could be very similar to 1988 when we beat them to clinch the AFC East. Let's bring those goal posts down again!
  13. Jesus H. Tebow... they're actually talking about Tebow down here in New Zealand. I just heard a blurb, on the national (radio) news, that Tebow just signed with the Eagles. In 10 years of living here, this is THE FIRST time I've heard NFL stories in our news reports.
  14. Well, yesterday we received the first snow of the year, here on the South Island of New Zealand. I know that a lot of you, up north, had to endure an incredibly bad winter this year, so I thought I'd mention that you can all officially relax now. It's the southern hemispheres turn to bear the burden.
  15. Unfortunately no one in New Zealand gives a $hit about "American Football", so I assume I'd be streaming the game from NFL Gamepass and watching it with my family. My wife and I would make a lot of good food, and we'd drink a lot of good beer and watch the Bills finally win the first of many! Let's go Buffalo!
