Bad Things

As far as I'm concerned, with a couple exceptions, all of the Rochester and Buffalo sports columnists need to be purged. They've all become toxic with nothing positive to say. Yeah, yeah yeah, I know... the team has sucked for 17 years. No Sh!t. I've been following this crappy team through thick and thin too, but these writers have all become cancerous. Just take the season-ending press conference as an example. What a joke! In my exprience living in different states and countries, the Western NY media stands alone as the most pathetic group I've ever read. The sad thing is that I've just about always enjoyed Leo's writing. Now, I refuse to read his drivel, just like those hack at The Buffalo News. The thing is that the newspapers need to understand that they should be providing their fans with a service, not a disservice. Who wants to read this depressing nonsense day in and day out. That said, people in Upstate New York have turned bitching and complaining into a true artform. It all needs to change. This is an entirely new era for our Bills. Let's be positive about the changes and hope that things will finally turn around. Let's give this new coaching staff a chance. If not... why are you even bothering to follow this team?

I will do my best to never click on any story written by this clown. In fact, it would be nice if TSW would actually put something on his articles indicating that it was written by him. The local Buffalo media are pathetic.

I just don't understand where all of this Lynn love is coming from.

I've known many unfortunate people that have bosses that send them txts and questions throughout the evening. (My wife was one of them.) They were in no position to ask their bosses to stop. It was just the way things were at their work. (It's not a question about having the balls to talk to them.) I have no problem with this law and cannot understand why some law in France would bother you.

My thoughts on this have changed dramatically during the last week. Although I still believe Whaley has some very positive attributes, I think the Pegs need to wipe the slate clean. The Bills entire organization is simply used to losing, from the top down. They need to root out the entire culture of losing and replace it with an entirely new philosophy of winning. In order to do this, you need to reseed it with people that know and expect winning. My ideal situation would be for the Pegs to bring in someone like a Tom Coughlin who would oversee the "big picture" of the organization for the first 2 -3 years. We would also need to make a huge bid to bring in one of the Patriots coordinators to be the HC and make Nick Caserio (Patriots Dir. of Player Personel) our new GM. It's a pipe dream, I know, but why not try to pluck the young talent from the best organization in football. These guys know what winning is all about.

Is this really true? I thought some of Marcell's comments suggested that the current defense was also too complicated, which made it difficult for their assignments to be read quickly.

I didn't hear this particular episode, but I gotta say that I really enjoy his show. It's really the only Bills related podcast that I listen to. Are there others that anyone would recommend?

I've just about always felt he was way over-rated. His body language on the field is that of a soft player who likes to be seen at the periphery of plays, instead of where the action is. I fully understand that his leaving would create a big hole for us, but boy do I want him outta here.
