Yeah, I’ve been to Tahiti/Moorea before and loved it. (Nothing like a beautiful wahine speaking in French.) However, there’s just something about Raro. It's just sooooo laid back and easy. The Cook Islands are cheaper that French Polynesia, uses the same currency as here (NZ dollars), is only a 4-hour flight from Auckland and isn’t nearly as “touristy” as other islands. The snorkelling and diving is also world class. Rarotonga and Fiji are the islands that Kiwis tend to travel to the most, because of these reasons. You should check it out sometime! That said, if you’ve never been to the South Island of New Zealand (where I live), you need to do yourself a favour and come out here for a couple weeks. It’s easily the most beautiful place I’ve ever been.

We're heading back to Rarotonga (Cook Islands) in August. Can't wait. Love it there. Most chilled out place I've ever been.

I really don't see why so many people are trying to turn this into a big scandal. (Apart from that being TBD's standard modus operandi.) The DL was Karl Dunbar's responsibility. The DL not only stunk to high heaven, but certain high profile players simply gave up on plays, while other players openly questioned aspects of the defence and DL. (Dareus not seeing eye-to-eye with Dunbar, Mario complaining and then quitting...) So, Dunbar (an underachieving position coach) gets fired and all of a sudden it's a scandal? Hopefully the new guy will come in a light a fire under these guys butts.

Yeah, I'd like to think that, but I doubt it. These are two of the most sheltered/coddled kids you've ever imagined. They thankfully left our house a couple days earlier than planned and spent the rest of their time in NZ doing Lord of The Rings stuff. (There's probably photos of them merrily skipping around meadows of wildflowers in Elven regalia.)

(My wife's sister) Yup, I agree with you 100%. She actually told me that she didn't like the way I that spoke to her kids. (Using the word "Fart" and the kiwi slang term, "bloody".) Thankfully before I made the situation worse, by kicking her out... my wife reminded me that I had a beautiful motorcycle downstairs and a week off from work. That said, I had an awesome time riding around the South Island.
