She's a GREAT dog. Quiet, won't crap inside and can sit right beside me in my office. Heck, she's probably smarter than half the people here! I want my dog!

The Shammy! What a great place to eat. Buck Pond was always our "go-to" campground when I still lived in NYS. I love that area of the ADKs. I went back there a couple years ago with my brother and rented this great little place on Osgood Pond. The owner took us to The Shamrock a couple of times. The biggest food portions, I've ever seen!

No worries at all. I know of some great places off the beaten path that I'm sure you'd enjoy.

Well, yeah... the prices are built in as they should be. What's the purpose of tipping anyway? It's stupid. We've even had pizza delivery guys hand back the tip we gave them, not because it was against policy, but because the pizza guys felt uncomfortable accepting tips. When Kiwis travel to the US for a holiday, they all generally love it, but complain about two things... 1. Tipping and 2. Standing and waiting in line for "everything". On a similar note, when you go shopping in a store down here, the price that you see on the item already has the tax included, so you know exactly what you need to pay when you get to the checkout. (No trying to figure out how much the tax will be.)

There's no tipping down here in New Zealand, thank God. It's one of the irritating things to deal with when visiting the States.

Uh... I hate to break it to you, but it's still considered spring up there until June 21st, when summer actually begins. Our winter season begins next week. Bring it on!

I forgot about the white horse. Where did she even ride it? Wasn't she still in Kings Landing? The more I think about it, the more I think people are correct in calling out the poor writing this season.

No it wasn't. The very first scene of the entire series was about the White Walkers and their threat was constantly being built up. "Winter is Coming" wasn't just a saying to remind everyone to get their firewood ready, it was about the upcoming threat of the White Walkers and the Night King.

So, where do you think Drogon was carrying Dany's body away to? There were other Red witches, right? It's almost like they were setting us up for a sequel. (Yeah, I know a prequel is in the works.) For what it's worth, I thought last nights finale was a fitting closure to the last 2 hurried seasons. (But still a great disappointment when considering how great the first 6 seasons were.) I honestly have a hard time believing that they didn't revisit the Night King/Bran/3-eyed Raven storyline. Very weird.

The best place for our summer holidays is right here... you can't beat the South Island of New Zealand. My favourite place for our (southern hemisphere) winters is either The Cook Islands (Rarotonga), or visiting friends and family in America, where it's the northern hemisphere's summer. If I'm back for the NY summer, I have to spend time up in the Northern Adirondacks, away from the crowds in Lake Placid and the High Peaks.

Yeah, I definitely remember that. The problem I had was basically with Bronn, who has been a favourite of mine. Bronn having the role of "Master of Coin" and arguing about funding brothels over ships was just insultingly stupid.

Yeah... it certainly wasn't a great ending, but I'll take it. This series deserved a LOT better. I will say that the scene with the "small council meeting" with Bronn was cringe inducing.

It seems like nowadays, people just have to find something to complain about. I get it... the show is closing up too fast, and the writers did F some things up. (Jamie's character arc and ending the Night King storyline way too simply.) That said, it's still the best television I've ever watched.
