I drafted Fields and every time I play him, he sucks. Every time I bench him (the last 2 weeks), he blows up. I should bribe him since I obviously am controlling his nfl career wirh my fantasy team. Like Andy Reid? 😉 He seems like a very blah, uninspiring coach. Weird name too.

Depends if we overreact to every quarter of a football game. Dude has a 4th round, undersized qb looking passable as a starter who dropped 30 on the road against the SB runner ups. but I guess a bad quarter wipes all that out. He was a converted QB. He’s made a hell out of a career for himself.

He’s a modern LB. Weirdly a team like the Titans might give us more trouble defensively than one of these 4 receiver ones. I can’t imagine how an OC doesn’t just try to run it down our throats thats the only thing that makes me nervous. It’s a long season and we have soem small (but baller) LBs. I just press they hold up because they are the most athletic group in the nfl.

Bills fans travel well and teams playing somewhere get fans an excuse for a road trip. weirdly, I think Buffalo is becoming popular because the city/ team have a positive rep lately and the tickets are so cheap compared to everyone else.

One of the best guys I can remember a Bills LB ever having (Kiko, Spikes, Paup are other ones who stand out). So happy for the guy and he should be DPOY of the week. I still am blown away but how small he looks. I don’t know how a team doesn’t look at LBs and not try to pound with the run. But I love the match up with Miami. let’s hope this continues. Some of the best current GMs are black. Tomlin is considered one of the best coaches. Wait did you just compare playing a sport to coaching and being an executive? You know that is an insane comparison right??? every single person has a chance to play football. Not all are good enough to make the nfl. Not everyone is given the opportunities Todd Haley got (college golfer, dad was an executive with the Steelers). There are many examples of this (see the St Francis connection). These guys are getting opportunities that others are simply because of who they know rather than their ability at first. I lean more towards nepotism and cronyism than racism. But to compare being s player to coaching/ Executive is wild.

In a league where I believe 75% of the players are black, it’s a different balance. let’s not act like all these executives and coaches have worked their way up the system on their own. They have buddies or dads who give them their start. There is definitely have a problem with minority representation at the higher levels. Personally, I think nepotism and cronyism is the main reasons but where in the world does 75% of the population get such low representation?

This has been the second best run of bills success in my lifetime. Last night sucked and it could come back to haunt us at the end of the season. but some of you need Xanax.
