Andre Reed HoF Ring Stolen in London
C.Biscuit97 replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Probably was hitting on some girl and lost it. never meet your heroes 😂 -
I wish I could bet money on them not making the SB. They are counting on players who struggle to stay healthy. And I still don’t fully believe in Purdy. There is an adjustment coming.

Sergio Brown Missing, Mother Found Dead

Just guessing that he isn’t very sound of mind right now and might be struggling with decision making. Just a guess though. what a depressing story. -
Zack Moss quietly having a very nice season so far
C.Biscuit97 replied to Dubie54's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was given 225 Carries in 31 games here, 7 per game. I loved him in college. He was bruiser and those guys need carries to reach their full potential this regime has been so good but let’s be honest, they kinda suck at rb evaluation. They love scat backs and put a good amount of resources into the position. I really like cook but for they have invested in the position (multiple 2nd, 3rd rounders, trades), the return kinda sucks. it’s funny because one of the few things the bills were good at during the dark days was finding rbs. Now we are awesome and suck at rb. -
True but you aren’t going to get him for that. There are definitely teams that believe he has been held back by his qbs. He was considered a future star when he came out. I would definitely take JJ in a second. But I always felt this offense needs a burner. We lack big time speed on this offense and it’s a waste of Allen’s arm. There was also a Tyler Ennis (Syracuse basketball) and a Tyler ennis on the Sabres. And they were both Canadian. I don’t think Jeudy is an elite sport guy. I think I saw he is a 4.46 guy. I believe he is considered an elite route runner when he was coming out.

How any team won’t run the ball 40 times on that defense would be insane.

Disagree. You don’t win SBs being safe. Klein will get picked on in coverage. See what they kid can do first then come back to Klein if need be. Or use Klein in obvious run situations.

Seems like every time the Bills have a good game, we get super cocky and talk about the SB. Then we always get a reality check. have fans always been this bipolar though? One week, we suck dynasty over. Next week, we are the SB champs. Following week, we are a soft team that can’t stay healthy. Wild.

I have been so pleasantly surprised. I still can’t shake the feeling of how small he is and how Milano struggles to stay healthy and he is much thicker than him. I also worried how he will do against a Tennessee and Henry. but dude has been balling.

Players get old sadly. Injuries and past 30 are real things. You lose a half step, your career changes.

Ed Oliver is playing out of his mind this season
C.Biscuit97 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s fair but injuries are part of the evaluation. For a guy who was supposed to be Aaron Donald light, 14.5 sacks (Dareus had 28.5 at the same point, same he didn’t love football ball) through 4 years was disappointing. Also, visions of the bills getting bullied by good running teams danced in my head. either way, good on the Bills for seeing his potential. He’s been a top 5 player for us this year You think they might have a sense of humor but the nfl doesn’t haha. i bet he gets a small fine. -
Mr. bright side: Moss and Zay Jones showed they were solid draft picks. I do think Moss isn’t any special but that trade looks bad now. Rb is definitely not a strength of this regime. They love scat backs too much. By all accounts, everyone loved Moss. He just didn’t really get an opportunity. If you watched him at Utah, he was a guy who got better with carries. I like Cook and know why you can’t invest too heavily in RBs (though this regime has). But it would be great to see Allen with a legit top 10ish rb who could play 3 downs. Imagine a stud rb who would have a ton of room because teams can’t bring up safeties against Allen.

It wasn’t perfect but I’m proud of the defense. Had every reason to quit and throw in the towel, but they battled. Lawrence was pretty good too. Definitely one of the few positives from the game.

Milano/Jones BOTH require surgery; Per McDermott
C.Biscuit97 replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Heartbreaking. The only thing that can stop Milano from being a HOF is the injuries. But I guess when you are a smaller guy, it’s bound to happy. But man, he is such a joy to watch play football. For some reason I thought of Spikes and how awesome he was before he got hurt. It was never quite the same after that. I hope that isn’t the case. wish both guys well. London sucks. Mas Roids -
I think that’s a good point. It’s frustrating when runs aren’t going away and it seems like you are throwing away a down. But you still need the threat of attempted runs to set up play action. also, even when it’s not working, d linemen (and conversely o linemen) would rather just tee off on passing situations. Run block can wear out a defense.

For a lot of qbs, Allen played a pretty good games. However, we can’t measure Allen by that since he is a top qb. We gave up 11 points for like 85% of that game. We gave up little to the Jets. There is zero excuse why we lost both of those games. we are beyond blessed to have Allen and he is at the bottom of the list of problems for this team. But those 2 games are where elite guys put you on their backs and win them. 2 AFC losses this early is rough. Gotta be better.
-
Salute you for watching it again. Defense gave up 11 points the majority of the game with a million injuries. This loss is solely on the offense. Zero excuses for not putting up more points on board. the offense can be amazing but twice it has crapped the bed in 2 very winnable games. Very disappointing.
-
Wow, Allen really doesn’t like Diggs.
-
I still can’t believe people convinced themselves Jones is a good qb. And if I’m Barkley, I’m milking my injury. They are legit one of the worst teams in the nfl. if we don’t kill this team, even with the Daboll factor and the injuries, I would be really worried (though as a bettor, -15 seems a little high).

Ed Oliver is playing out of his mind this season
C.Biscuit97 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Very happy to see it. Loved him as a draft pick, kinda disappointed with his uneven play for the first few years, confused about the extension, but he is earning it. Salute to him. -
Nope!

Honestly, Thad Lewis wasn’t bad. EJ wasn’t even that bad. He was given Nate Hackett, in his first nfl job, as an OC/QB coach, got hurt, and was constantly played with by Marrone. he wasn’t the guy but that idiot coaching staff put on a clinic hiw not to develop a young qb.
-
If he went to Joes, he probably be working at Arby’s, living with his “girlfriend” who had kids with 3 other guys, punching windows after he loses in a video game. Canisius = men of excellence 😎 he is in the college football hall of fame and retired when he was going to start for the Ravens. So much respect for him. How much can that possibly pay thoigg?

Kyle Orton: Why doesn't he get a little ex-Bill love?
C.Biscuit97 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
I thought about it. He still sucks and he is a coward. Dude had 2 good games against the jets and led us to less points/ game than EJ in the other ones. people who like Orton like ranch with their wings. -
Dude is playing really well and is a gem of a get it. But he’s in for a big jump without White. losing your number 1 cb is such a huge loss because everyone has to move up.
