And I believe a big part of the problem with drops is Allen with sometimes lack of touch. It also shows up on YAC with balls the receivers can’t catch in stride. Brady has a rag arm now but he puts the ball where guys can catch and run. It’s a problem with guys with big arms. Hard to just turn it down. Losman had a missile but couldn’t calm it down enough. I think Allen is better but he’s more of the problem with drops than you are willing to say.

So you don’t think Mahomes is a better, more accurate passer than Allen? It’s not a confidence that both of those players had the best seasons of their careers with Mahomes. The problem with some fans and I believe the coaching staff is they try to make Allen into something he’s not. He is never going to be a Brady pinpoint passer. But he can still be really successful if you tailor the offense to him like Baltimore does with Jackson. Obviously, there’s risk but imo our offense should look more like Baltimore than prime NE.

This is why some fans underestimate. Some qbs throw more catchable balls. I always feel drops is a stat that people want to lean on for Allen. He has never been a particularly accurate since high school. So either he consistently plays with terrible brick hand wrs or he doesn’t throw the most catchable balls. I bet there are plenty of rocket armed qbs who have a lot of drops. The difference between those guys and say Mahomes is Mahomes has excellent touch on his balls (sounds dirty). Seems like you’re passing the blame from Allen. I remember numerous crossing patterns where the ball is behind the receiver that they manage to get their hands on (but for any receiver going reaching behind while going in the opposite direction is extremely hard) that might count as a drop. allen has improved in the underneath passing area but he still isn’t consistently good enough.

If you count Tyrod getting benched for Peterman, that says more about McDemrott being completely clueless on offensive football. It is one of the worst decisions in the history of Bills football. So mind blowing dumb and I was far from a Tyrod fan. and others have said, it should be total tds, total turnovers, and total yards. I think why they do separate them is because running tds can be fluky.

McDermott & Tomlin: Teammates at William & Mary

McDermott looks like the type of guy that would roid in college. -
Terrell Suggs released

Why retire if you can kept getting paid? we will never get him but it would be a real nice addition. HOF member of the All- Ugly team though . -
Brees had a really bad shoulder injury at the time. It’s why Miami didn’t sign him. and I used to feel bad for him but this clip makes him like a giant d bag. Dude helps him up and he screams in his ear. He should laid him out. https://mobile.twitter.com/NFL_Memes/status/1204392912659857409?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fd-26699525554090590446.ampproject.net%2F1911191835190%2Fframe.html

Head Coaches in the last 50 years: Buffalo vs Pittsburgh

They gave up on Chuck Noll too soon IMO. -
[Name Only Title] Tua Tagovailoa

Looking back, not drafting Aaron Rodgers because you had JP Losman was the right choice! and I’m skeptical of Allen but I do think he has done enough to have one more year as the guy. I won’t stop addressing the qb position because Barkley is not special and you never stop trying to improve the most position in sports (see me in fantasy picking up Lamar when I had Mahomes in week 1 ?). also, Tua makes me real nervous. So hard to tell with Bama qbs. He throws to a nfl receiving core, has the best defense in college, and struggles to stay healthy. He is going to end up on the Pats. -
JuJu reportedly OUT for Bills game
C.Biscuit97 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rough year for JuJu, who I love. Honestly, considering he was going to go against Tre, I’m not sure it’s a major impact for them. Not really that worried about their offense. -
Giants waive CB Janoris Jenkins
C.Biscuit97 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow. He is one of the dumbest humans on the planet but he is so far from the problem with that team. The funny thing is them cutting him just is a big favor to him. He’ll get picked up by some playoff team and be playing meaningful football this year and a chance to rehab his image. -
How about MVP Lamar Jackson today?
C.Biscuit97 replied to ToGoGo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are the Ravens really that stacked? They have a rookie receiver who hasn’t been healthy (the Seahawks have Metcalf who has been awesome); a 4th round 2nd year TE, and Mark Ingram who has been out rushed by Chris Carson the past 2 years. we’re nitpicking here because Wilson is awesome but Jackson has been steroids to that team. They are averaging 10 more points a game. Jackson is the MVP and I don’t think it’s really that close good sir. Because we need to compare everything! We used to argue over Jackson and Spiller when we had both guys playing effectively. -
Yeah, I can’t believe I’m willing to say Rosen is a total bust after like 10 games with Arizona and Miami. Fitz, for as average as he is, is 10 year bet who had 100 qb rating. he may be a bust. But to conclude that after those two years (he had similar passing numbers to Allen as a rookie) is just stupid and disingenuous. No young qb would have thrived there.

Just how bad is the NFC East? THIS BAD!
C.Biscuit97 replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This makes too much sense for the nfl to do. Best sport on the planet, absolute dumbest league. -
1) still not giving up on Rosen. His situations have been criminal. I hope a real franchise gets him and tries to develop him. 2) situation absolutely matters. I think Darnold would be really successful here as well. I underestimated how terrible of a leader Gase is. Even though the Bills were an absolute disaster with their offensive decisions for Allen’s rookie, they have done a really good judge this year. I can’t believe I’m saying this but Buffalo is a good situation for a qb right now.

Josh Allen: Sunday vs. Ravens is not a huge game
C.Biscuit97 replied to OldTimeAFLGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Appreciate the mindset and it is the right one to have but it is absolutely a monster game. I think Allen had the best game of his career given the stage on thanksgiving. However, the Cowboys have shown themselves to be an overhyped, soft, team of frauds. The Ravens aren’t that. IMO, this is essentially a playoff game. If Allen can play well in this game, I might truly believe we have a franchise guy. -
Bucky Brooks :Lessons from Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson
C.Biscuit97 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yup. I really like Bucky but this is all reactionary. The reason I rated Allen and Jackson the same during their draft was while those both had very good upside, the overwhelming majority of similar players fail big time. Jackson put up major production in a big time conference but there were questions about his arm and would he be able to put athletic nfl players. Allen put up non dominant numbers in a lower conference. I would assume the same things about similar players coming out. what buffalo (not his rookie year but this year) and Baltimore have done is put both guys in good situations instead of whatever the hell Rosen is in. Now the key will be how both guys will progress in the following years. But right now, they are outliners just like Tom Brady in the 6th round.
