You can never have enough pass rushers. They still need more. Hughes gets about 5 sacks a year for the last 4 years. Murphy gets 4. And it’s the nfl. Guys in their 30s can fall off at any given moment. It happens all the time. I would love to see this team acquire one more pass rusher with double digit sack skills.

Our defense last year was very good but it was a good pass rush away from being elite. But I totally agree with a better, more consistent offense, it was SB caliber. With our schedule this year (we played some awful qbs last year) and some losses on defenses, it won’t shocked me if the defense falls back a little bit. So it’s on Allen and the offense to make up the gap. But good post. Come on. The offense scored 6 points in the last 3 quarters of the game. There is no way Singletary is making it through an entire season as the bellcow. He’s just not built for that. They need a 2nd rb to help with the load.

I don’t really think Anderson was anything special plus he is a moron off the field. Perriman is super talented (1st round pick) but he has bricks for hands. I hope he forgets how to catch again. I will say this without a doubt. The Bills have done a much better job surrounding Allen with talent than the Jets have with Darnold.

Not before the season, no. But Dallas turned out to be total frauds against any good teams. I predict 9-7 wins the division this year. It’s so early but this schedule looks brutal for our division. It’s going to be a tough game. They hung tough against some really good teams and Murray got better throughout the year. It will be packed with Bills fans though.

Belichick could be the best thing that ever happened to Newton. If he is healthy or NE signs Winston, they would worry me the most. I pray they talk themselves into Jarrett S and Hoyer as good enough. I’m not doubting his seat might be getting warm but he has a higher winning % than McDermott. And they always have a ton of injuries.

I agree with you to a point. I want the best team possible. I hate that we’re ok with a subpar backup like Barkley. that said, they couldn’t possibly sign guys like Winston or Newton. One, they would never be happy sitting behind Allen. Two, you can’t risk them beating Allen out in camp. That would be a mess. So I do get why they won’t sign him but that type of thinking could cost us a playoff spot if Matt Barkley and his 65 career qb rating has to play.

That’s what we need to worry about with Allen. No matter how big you are, those nfl hits caught up. And Newton was completing 67% of his passes before he hurt his shoulder 2 years ago and a MVP candidate. Healthy, he’s a top 10 qb. Of course, health is the question. Good point. Signed Hayneswortgh. What a load of ?. his best receiver that year was Ted Ginn. They went 15-1 and he had 45 tds. If you think Newton is average, by that logic, Allen is far below average then. Now show the one where Kelvin Benjamin tried to blame him for him sucking. Then at the preseason game, Newton went right up to him and tried to have a man to man conversation and Benjamin couldn’t even look him in the eye. Fat coward. so besides that fat loser, where is one teammates who says anything bad about Newton or that he is a “cancer”?

Can you explain the adjusted net yards per attempt stat? I looked it briefly and saw Tannehill led it this year (and he’s a total fraud imo). it’s seems like a stat that favors game managers and not qbs who have to carry their teams. Am I wrong?

Except the have a weaker armer Chad Pennington. They should have kept Cam.

Yeah, I hate former MVPs and SB qbs too. I never got the hate Cam has gotten. I bet a lot of the people who don’t like him are very similar looking. Brady screams at his coaches - passionate. Rivers talks crap to an opponent - competitor. Rodgers has a td celebration- confident. Newton does the same - cocky jerk who isn’t about the team. i hope he is healthy and signs with a good team. Guy is a baller and what we should hope Allen comes close to being. I love most sports. But I don’t get how anyone watches nascar. I’d rather watch police chase videos.

I don’t think drops is an official stat and that’s part of the problem. I posted a Lamar “drop” video and there were 24 “drops” on it yet PFF or someone said they only had 24. as a receiver, if a ball hits your hands, you should catch it. But being realistic, not every drop is the same. A guy throws a 100 mph fastball at you on a 5 yard crossing route Isn’t the easiest catch. personally, I want to see more of those touch passes from Allen next year.

I actually shocked Diggs’ agent hasn’t asked for a new contract. Given what the Bills gave up, their hands are kinda tied.

Watkins was great in our high school offense with Tyrod. He also was the leading receiver for the Chiefs this postseason as they won a SB. I guarantee they are completely fine with Watkins. Injuries held him back.

Does anyone have a video of all Allen drops? Because it would be interesting to see which were flat out drops or slightly off target throws that were tough catches.

I could nitpick but good post. The crazy thing about the Houston game was the first half was the most impressed with him that I have ever been. Then, the second half happened. That’s where the consistency needs to happen. the best description of watching Allen is he is like a drug. Many highs and many lows ?

By why did they pay Teddy? Their plan makes no sense. I don’t think Bridgewater is anything special but he will win some games. It’s like Fitz last year. If you are going to tank, you don’t sign a solid vet qb. and it blows my mind how badly some teams are ruin. They traded away any leverage they have in trading Newton. I remember after 5 games, some fans won’t anointing him as their franchise qb. Backup qbs are a dime a dozen in the NFL. Bridgewater and technically still Newton haha
