  1. Please find one post where anyone has said close to that.
  2. Eh, I don’t agree on the wins. Allen could have a better year, the defense could slip a better, and with a harder schedule, we might not win as much. So I don’t think that’s fair to put entirely on Allen.
  3. Bills fans’ offensive expectations are so painfully low. Our offense needs to be top half to be considered a success.
  4. Off target is interesting too. Allen is really high up there. But Rodgers is because he throws the ball away a lot. imo, these stats need more context. Not every drop is the same. And not every off target throw is the same. allen needs to be more accurate. If this year happens. I’m very excited because it should be a much tougher schedule and we be facing a ton more good qbs. So there will be more pressure on the offense to score. I hope Allen proves he is the guy. I mean he gets credit for being a winning qb because we have an awesome defense. It goes both ways. Too much blame and too much credit.
  5. The guy who averages 4 Sacks per season isn’t bringing heat.
  6. So are you. You guys act like Allen is the only qb who has drops. Or that the other qbs ranked high (except Brady who had one of his worst years) in drops aren’t bad qbs who probably don’t throw the most catchable footballs. you are allowed to be fan without blind hero worship. Allen has a lot to work on. seriously, do it for Mitchell. Allen basically had the same exact year as him in both their 2nd years. I’m sure Bears fans feel great about him because he had a lot of “drops.”
  7. I mean the guy did just throw for 5,000 yards. It’s not like he’s a scrub. He’s just his own worst enemy. He did have eye surgery too. He’s a guy who I won’t want to end up on the Pats. His upside is huge. So is downside though.
  8. Now you have to do it for every other qb.
  9. With all due respect, I would bet against on all 3 of these (I don’t bet on the Bills).
  10. Would you rather get paid or get cut?
  11. PJ walker > Matt Barkley ? There’s the silver lining!
  12. Need more deep passes for him in double coverage next year. He’s a weapon.
  13. I like the player a lot but this would be such a Bulls pick. Roscoe 2.0.
  14. Who said they were getting fired? I just don’t why you need to rush to extend them now.
  15. The lowest win totals seem high. I hate to say it but I kinda love the Jets at that total. And I think 9 wins will win the division.
  16. Yeah, it was all Allen and not the 3rd ranked defense. Mark Sanchez had 5 game winning drives one year. With all defense and our crap schedule, more consistent offense would have put those games away earlier so we didn’t need a game “winning” drive. with a better schedule on paper and more weapons, we can see if Allen really is the man or along for the ride. Careful, this will get labeled as a hater. But it’s completely true. No one disputes Allen can make big plays. But our offense would go in terrible droughts for long stretches and make games against bad teams much closer than they need to be. Our defense saved us many teams. With better offense and that terrible schedule, we mighT have won 12-13 games. Good news is this year will be the ultimate test. If Allen progresses and the Bills make the playoffs with this schedule, we are all set.
  17. Drew Brees vs Case Keemun ???. Now, I’m worried I didn’t bet enough on the Saints.
  18. Dick Jauron and Ryan Fitzpatrick love this idea! you think there is going to some bidding war for Beane after the season? Has that ever happened?
  19. I bet the Saints on the money line. I just think they are the better team. I’m just excited to have sports back to bet on. Need to make up so money I lost this week so I’m hoping this will be a nice easy win.
  20. Unpopular opinion alert. I kinda like John Murphy. ?
  21. Yup. When a guy connect with Buffalo or the Bulls doesn’t something, fans rush to defend them. If it was Bob Kraft or a Pat, we would call them a scumbag.
  22. Good post and I do agree. this is where I’m at with Allen. Part of me wants to let him just go out there and rip it. Let him make mistakes and just live with it. I want to see if he is a franchise guy instead of just a game manager who makes big plays. At the same point, I don’t think the coaches fully trust him. And with our defense, I don’t blame them. as far as the deep ball, the league has seen a million guys with strong arms who couldn’t make it because they lacked touch. Losman was like this. He probably was best at throwing deep passes and then would bounce a swing pass. EJ actually had a cannon but played like a robot and throw mid range passes like he was playing darts. What makes Mahomes so great is he had a cannon and some of the best touch I’ve seen since Rodgers on deep passes. Allen doesn’t have that touch on his passes consistently and needs it to be the guy. And it’s not as easy as some think it is. He was better at the intermediate passes for sure. He was also smarter about taking hits. He would have quarters and sometimes halves where he played well. But it’s never consistently for a game and that’s because he isn’t the most consistent qb. Consistency is what makes franchise guys.
  23. Can’t lie. I loved the O’Leary pick. He was dangerous in college with crazy Jameis. Maybe he should wear gloves. I mean it’s not like our tight ends have been killing it either. It’s like breaking up with a 4 and bragging that you are now dating a 5.
  24. He’s in the rotation because we overpaid him. He is the definition of replaceable. He is Chris Kelsay 2.0. I never got the Penny pick for Seattle. But would I trade a JAG DE for a first round talent that I liked who hasn’t hit their stride yet? Hell yeah. Seattle probably won’t even make that trade anyways.
  25. Honest question: what is Allen’s fault? I’ve literally never seen a top 10 qb be held less accountable than people hold Allen here. Nothing is his fault. It’s the o line. It’s the receivers can’t catch. It’s the defense’s for being too good so he doesn’t get to pad his stats. ? Allen definitely shown improvement. But when a guy hasn’t hit 60% of his passes on any level, including a lower college conference where a top 10 pick should dominate, maybe it’s not everyone else’s fault. Maybe Allen just needs to get better. I have zero doubts of his work ethic. But man, he gets so many excuses made for him, while some of the same posters would rip other qbs for the same things. just use him like the light skinned Cam Newton and hopes he limits his mistakes. The Bills are going to try to make him into Brady and that’s a mistake.
