  1. I think fans forgot what these injuries used to be like. They could have been career Enders and now they get mad if they aren’t back to being an all pro in months. Cam Akers rushed back from an Achilles injury in like 5 months. He was terrible and fans were calling him a huge bust. However during the last month of the season, he was one of the most productive rbs in football. Guess why? He was finally getting healthy. if I was an agent, I might tell may player to sit out 2 years if they have s major injury so they don’t get question. I will put money on White being a pro bowler next year.
  2. Should buy a billboard. Way more effective.
  3. These injuries take 2 years before you get back to where you were. He will be fine. At the bottom of my list of things to worry about.
  4. Why do we still ask their old guys what they think and pay it gospel? Didn’t Polian embarrass himself enough. Parcells, a legend, is so outdated on his nfl thoughts. Based on his rule of how to draft qbs, he would have never even picked Allen.
  5. Wait, you don’t think McDermott, who broke into the nfl as a defensive back coach and played one in college, doesn’t have a huge role in their development on this team? Most head coaches oversee their entire team but they definitely still do work in their specialty areas.
  6. We had 4th string Ss playing. Overall, I feel bad for a guy losing his job but it doesn’t really matter because McDermott is the defensive back coach. I know we will be fine. But it seems like scapegoating imo.
  7. Man, he showed flashes but has never been consistent enough. But you aren’t getting much for hkm. Maybe a 4th and that seems high.
  8. Thank God. The safeties coach got Poyer and Hyde hurt and almost killed Damar!!!! This will solve everything. That guy was holding this team back. The witch is dead.
  9. I know their Rooney rule isn’t perfect but this is why it exists. On what world does Hackett deserve this job? He has been an awful OC and helped a HOF qb have the worst season in his career. Dude sucks as a coach, but his daddy got him a job (who wasn’t even a good coach). Imo, this is embarrassing for the nfl. Not just minority candidates but plenty of other coach’es who haven’t proven their failures don’t get a chance While he is given his like 10th chance to not be horrible.
  10. Hide the strippers!!! great Bill. I always think of what guys like him and Lee Evans (so perfect for Allen) would have been wish non terrible qbs for most of their careers.
  11. I listen to him on Simmons and he talks about the football nerds like he isn’t kne. This is why I take some of the analytic stuff with a grain of salt. that said, it’s kinda true but it’s also what we have to accept with Allen. If the Fins qb is anyone but a dude named Skylar, that would be a loss. I fully believe in Allen and don’t want to take his aggressiveness away but I won’t hate him being more careful with the ball now that we are playing better teams.
  12. I’ve been more confident as the week goes on and that terrifies me!
  13. I’m so torn on him. He has some games where he looks amazing. Then he has others when he completely sucks. I’m still not sold on him being that hyped up once in a generation prospect. Solid starter for sure but I don’t see hkm as a top 10 guy. that said, this would one of the biggest upsets in nfl history. Mahomes has never lost in a divisional round, Reid’s record after a bye, and I think Jville/ Lawrence are in for a letdown. I’d take KC and the points
  14. DS is solid and Cook has definitely shown some good flashes. But it would be really interesting to see what an elite back could do with Allen. Definitely not the biggest need but if a super talented guy is there in the 2nd, I would be tempted. like Chase Brown of Illinois and the little back from Kansas State as well. It is true. Kinda of crazy we haven’t been able to find a really legit star rb with so many 3rd picks.
  15. I can’t imagine getting mad about stuff like this. They are both too 5 qbs and seem like great dudes. The media’s job is to build a storyline. I would rather have Allen because he brings more to the talent with his running. But Burrow is pretty great himself. It’s going to be a great game.
  16. He’s kinda a scumbag, let’s be honest. Tons of bad stuff out there about him. Really good player but I really don’t respect his opinion. JMO though.
  17. Agree 100% he would do great with the Bears. And obviously, winning is the objective. But long term is that the best way to grow Fields (who has a similar skill set to Allen imo). I think they need to see Lamar in a different system before paying him. Could backfire but at least they will know before investing a ton of money.
  18. Well a ton of bad qbs get paid. Chase Daniel got paid for absolutely nothing. I think Lamar can do more as a passer. We’ll see.
  19. I think every person who posts anything in the internet should have to use their real picture. I think that would stop a lot of the trash talk real quick. I liked Halloween and I liked welcome to the jungle when I was a little kid so I liked the bengals. When I was being a jerk in high school, my mom took us to bond in Cincinnati with their gross chili. It was fine, somewhat similar to Buffalo (though I obviously prefer Buffalo much more). Hard for me to have any hate towards them. I just think it’s our year and we deserve more. Better luck next year Cincy.
  20. Agree with this 100% Dave. But I guess the question is, does he grow quarterbacks? I think Lamar is the most talented qb he has had (CK is in the running but I think Lamar is a more accurate passer) but he has plateaued. And it’s not all Roman but the Ravens, one of the best organizations in sports, for whatever reason, hate wrs. They never made a Diggs type move or drafted a no doubt stud guy. At almost 9 ypa with very little nfl talent around him. He single handedly carried that team. Very similar to Allen.
  21. No you’re wrong (oh wait it’s pretty stupid to say someone’s opinion is wrong and yours is gospel). Also, reading comprehension 101, I never once said he was a bad OC. I said his system gets old after a few years. Teams adjusts and the Ravens with Lamar are stuck in a different generation. It has been system. But now when they have to pay a qb a ton of money, they don’t know if he is the type of guy you can invest in. They surround him with garbage wrs (Sammy Watkins started a playoff game) and have zero creativity in the passing game. is Lamar a great passer? Probably not. Allen wasn’t considered a great passer until his 3rd year in an offense that was constantly modifying itself to the current nfl, with a ton of multiple receiver sets. The Ravens still run 4 TE sets. so yes Roman can be good for a couple years with the right qb. However, with the best QB he has had, it was getting really stale and the Ravens don’t know for sure if Lamar is the guy. And my opinion is 100% right and yours is wrong.
  22. wasn’t excited about this game before but now I’m so ready. The nerve of this Joe guy!!!
  23. Eh, not so sure about that. Roman seems to have like 3 years before his system goes south. I think he is solid but part of the reason they are where they are is because they never really let Lamar grow as qb. They might have the worst receivers in the league and he played in a more complex system in college. I think you tag Lamar and get a guy who is going to have a more offense and see how he does in that. Lamar with 3 wrs and Andrew’s spreading the field would open a lot for him.
  24. I respect this but I never liked him. He seemed by far the least talented Bama qb. He has zero elite or even abou e average skills. What high D 1 qb won’t be good at Bama? the Pats did him no favors. But he’s an entitled d bag who literally has had like 15% above average nfl starts. He’s a backup talking like a HOFer imo. AJ McCarron with better PR.
  25. My man has 6 catches for 35 yards in 5 games after showing serious decline last year. I would rather have the upside player than the guy who doesn’t threaten the defense in the slightest. Agree to disagree.
