So pumped up for this game and can’t believe this happened. Played a lot of football and saw crazier hits in a few of the bowls games. Puts everything in perspective of how fragile life is. I pray that’s he ok. Nothing else really matters besides that.

I would say a major difference is I didn’t believe in Allen because it was the Bills and his college stuff. He definitely progressed his second year but never in a million years did I think he would become what he is. so I will never I can see fields at Allen’s current level. But dude was like the number 1 player in the country and dominated in college. Not crazy to think he could become a good player with more talent around him and being in the same offense 2 years in a row. I think he’s a dangerous player. That said, our defense is very suited for him.

His career has been a huge disappointment but people will keep giving talent a chance.

Weird how many people are crapping in Fields when his second year looks a lot (if not even a little better) than Allen’s. He plays on a garbage offense and show some really flashes surrounded by junk. This board loves putting down other teams qbs. and the bills are far superior to the bears and it should be a cake walk. But the bears have hung in almost every game, combined with awful weather, and the bills not covering in 7 out of 8 could make it somewhat interesting. Imo, these are sometimes the hardest games for superior teams to get up for. Would love to see a nice crap kicking for Christmas

I always hated Sullivan and that part of the media. Guys who have never sniffed a field who just ask questions to get under players’ skins. And it happens in a lot of fields now. Just say crazy things to get attention, good or bad. that said, it is a part he plays. My mom’s boyfriend is good friends with him and he’s actually a pretty decent guy. But it was time for him to retire anyways.

How about 8.5 on 82 catches and 37 first downs? Is that a bigger sample size? it’s weird the groupies who feel the need to defend him like he’s some hero. He was in serious decline in 2021. The Bucs were super desperate at receiver & kept him for a week with Brady. if he helps, great. But some of you are kinda emotional defending the guy. I just don’t think he is much of a threat at this point. I would rather have healthy Crowder (or McKenzie if he could catch). I wasn’t a fan of OBJ either but he is probably the better player and could be an upgrade and push all guys down the depth chart (if healthy which is a major question).

Not so much the last 2 years. Besides becoming a distraction, he is a declining player. personally, I’m whatever with it. I think he said a lot of dumb things and acted like a teenage girl on social media but if he can help, he can help. one of the things I loved about football is takes players of all different backgrounds to come together. I do think there are some people who view him as some kind of hero and won’t be so accepting of a player who’s views they didn’t agree with, especially one who has been in decline. but as one of the biggest fans of the Beasley signing at the time and who has one of his songs on my playlists, I hope he helps, I just don’t think he is the player some of you think he is. But hopefully he makes some plays and can stay off social media for 2 months. For adult male, that shouldn’t be hard.

Crazy how fragile life is. Coaching and seems fine a week ago to this as much as they get paid, I would have no desire to ever be a big time coach. The stress is crazy and fans are constantly calling for your job. Seemed like Leach had a pretty good attitude about things but were there questions about his health before? At the same point, Allen had the same OC since his rookie year who just became a nfl head coach. That never happens. also with guys like Mahomes, Reid personally selected him after there were many questions about him. Reid had Alex Smith who didn’t throw a td to a receiver an entire season once and they made the playoffs! Mahomes is legit great and almost underrated on this board.

Besides Kelce, KC isn’t exactly loaded. Also, Burrow didn’t have Chase, Mixon, and Higgins for chucks of time. either way, even being in the MVP conversation is really really good. And I posted earlier in this thread that the mvp rarely wins the SB so I’m fine with Allen not winning it. You are vastly overrating KC’s rbs. This is what I can’t stand about this threads. All you try to do is knock the other guys. KC traded a player on pace to break the receiving record and has a bunch of 3 and 4 type wrs & Mahomes is playing awesome. Hurts, who was talked about getting replaced, helps his team get out to big leads and never turns the ball over. Allen maybe had the best start to the season of all the guys but has faded. Could be the injury. Could be the coaching but either way, you don’t have to put down another player to raise yours up.

I think he is washed and I hope he just shuts up. But if makes Josh happy, works for me. Still think we need a speed guy. Just not sure where you get one from now. and obj is a moron who cost himself a nice paycheck.

See I don’t agree with this at all and completely sells Hurts short. We have a top 5 defense and a top 5 receiver. It’s bs to pretend like it’s like the bears out there. If we had an average qb like Carr, we are more than likely a playoff team. Honestly Allen takes us to another level. all people have wanted to do since Hurts, one of the biggest recruits in the country, is replace hkm. He was a monster at Bama. He has gotten nothing but better as a nfl qb. Maybe that the guy who keeps betting better is becoming a good qb. Again this board loves knocking certain types of qbs more than others. Hurts is doing a lot of what Allen does. So it’s weird to praise Allen and knock Hurts.

That’s far. I’m just struggling to see how come out and catch the ball and win prizes is some slap in the face to bills fans. I think it is completely harmless and some of looking to be offend. that said, maybe after last year, Bills receivers might want to give social media a break until after the season.
