Well said. There were so many positives that have been happening in Buffalo but this for sure has been a surreal year. Most of the things are things out of our control - POS loser, Mother Nature, a freak injury. But no city bounces back better than Buffalo and has more heart. im more convinced ever that we are going to the SB. Now, whether that ends in a victory or last second Hail Mary loss, I’m not sure. 😞 The punter thing doesn’t belong on here. That was self inflicted and I haven’t thought once about him since the season started.

I love Poyer but this is the exact reason you don’t pay him. He is in the wrong side of 30, he is getting hurt more, and he is going to want too much. Once the Allen contract kicks in, you are going to have to let good players walk. It’s what happens when you have a good team. dude is a warrior and baller. I wish there was no salary cap. But paying aging vet who are starting to get injured more and more is how you close your SB window. It sucks and it’s a dirty business but that’s how you should operate.

Daniel Jones receives standing ovation from Giants fans
C.Biscuit97 replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s dollar store Josh Allen. He’s been solid with not a lot of help but I think he’s a pretty meh guy that ultimately doesn’t really get you anywhere. Maybe keep him for a year or 2 but they would be fools to think he is a franchise guy. -
Playoff Solutions Assuming they don’t replay the Bengals game.
C.Biscuit97 replied to Locomark's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s not important but they kinda of have to find a way to reschedule this game right? It’s not like it’s 2 scrub teams. Hopefully positive updates come from Demar and they figure something out. It’s a terrible situation for both teams. -
Agreed. It’s so sad the bar is so low on how people, especially fans, should act that something that should be the norm (being respectful and coming together during a tough time) that Cincy stands out. I know Buffalo would do the same. it’s also cool because the Bills and Bengals could have a really good rivalry going forward. However with this and the Andy Dalton stuff, it seems like we have a bond with them.

Yeah, they did great in a very uncomfortable situation.

The Phins; from 8-3 to 8-8. An epic collapse
C.Biscuit97 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Eh, they had injuries and got fat on a week schedule. 2 years ago, they were one of the least talented teams ever. I think they are way ahead on their rebuild and make the playoffs if Tua doesn’t miss any games (which I guess is the question for them going forward). They are the 2nd most talented team in the division. However, the Tua question is huge for them. -
Chris Simms says whoever Tre is covering will be open
C.Biscuit97 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
wow, a guy coming off a major injury playing the hardest physical position in the nfl isn’t back to being a top 3 corner. Shocking. What a dumb comment. It will take 2 years to see the real Tre again. -
I would say a major difference is I didn’t believe in Allen because it was the Bills and his college stuff. He definitely progressed his second year but never in a million years did I think he would become what he is. so I will never I can see fields at Allen’s current level. But dude was like the number 1 player in the country and dominated in college. Not crazy to think he could become a good player with more talent around him and being in the same offense 2 years in a row. I think he’s a dangerous player. That said, our defense is very suited for him.
-
His career has been a huge disappointment but people will keep giving talent a chance.

Weird how many people are crapping in Fields when his second year looks a lot (if not even a little better) than Allen’s. He plays on a garbage offense and show some really flashes surrounded by junk. This board loves putting down other teams qbs. and the bills are far superior to the bears and it should be a cake walk. But the bears have hung in almost every game, combined with awful weather, and the bills not covering in 7 out of 8 could make it somewhat interesting. Imo, these are sometimes the hardest games for superior teams to get up for. Would love to see a nice crap kicking for Christmas

Jerry Sullivan crosses the line. Comments against women.
C.Biscuit97 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I always hated Sullivan and that part of the media. Guys who have never sniffed a field who just ask questions to get under players’ skins. And it happens in a lot of fields now. Just say crazy things to get attention, good or bad. that said, it is a part he plays. My mom’s boyfriend is good friends with him and he’s actually a pretty decent guy. But it was time for him to retire anyways. -
Updated Beasley signing to practice squad

He has one week or else we spending the 19K on a new pool table and chairs. -
Is the guy that oblivious to his crappiness? They literally won’t throw the ball to 2 top 10 pick players because he was so bad. crazy part is if they had even an average qb, they might have won that division. I’m interested to see what DR does. Maybe after a few weeks with the family, he will regret that brady style. 😈 Honestly, falcons receivers can’t be any worse without him

Updated Beasley signing to practice squad

He didn’t though. It was 37 out of 82 (45%, his last season here). I hope he plays well and just doesn’t tweet. -
Updated Beasley signing to practice squad
C.Biscuit97 replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
How about 8.5 on 82 catches and 37 first downs? Is that a bigger sample size? it’s weird the groupies who feel the need to defend him like he’s some hero. He was in serious decline in 2021. The Bucs were super desperate at receiver & kept him for a week with Brady. if he helps, great. But some of you are kinda emotional defending the guy. He was crying last time he was here because he thought he was getting booed when people were saying Beas. That’s valid -

That’s a fair point. He just might not be able to get the separation anymore. Dudes get old real quick in the nfl. -
Updated Beasley signing to practice squad
C.Biscuit97 replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just don’t think he is much of a threat at this point. I would rather have healthy Crowder (or McKenzie if he could catch). I wasn’t a fan of OBJ either but he is probably the better player and could be an upgrade and push all guys down the depth chart (if healthy which is a major question). -

C.Biscuit97 replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not so much the last 2 years. Besides becoming a distraction, he is a declining player. personally, I’m whatever with it. I think he said a lot of dumb things and acted like a teenage girl on social media but if he can help, he can help. one of the things I loved about football is takes players of all different backgrounds to come together. I do think there are some people who view him as some kind of hero and won’t be so accepting of a player who’s views they didn’t agree with, especially one who has been in decline. but as one of the biggest fans of the Beasley signing at the time and who has one of his songs on my playlists, I hope he helps, I just don’t think he is the player some of you think he is. But hopefully he makes some plays and can stay off social media for 2 months. For adult male, that shouldn’t be hard. -

It’s wild this much attention for a guy who averaged 8.5 and 4.3 ypc his last 2 years. never expected to feel this desperation at 10-3. -
Rather have him than Crazy Cole to be honest. Someone get him from Canadian ballet!

Crazy how fragile life is. Coaching and seems fine a week ago to this as much as they get paid, I would have no desire to ever be a big time coach. The stress is crazy and fans are constantly calling for your job. Seemed like Leach had a pretty good attitude about things but were there questions about his health before? Wow had no idea about the senator. Definitely remember him leaving Leach. Great, funny poster. That is really sad to hear. 😢

Christian Wilkins - the Bill has come due.
C.Biscuit97 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Grabbing junk is what alphas do!!! You won’t get it! I once had a coach say that at the bottom of a fumble pile, just grabbing things and start twisting. If you felt two things, twist even harder. One of the softest big guys ever. Never forgive him for watching Miller get run by Lucic and doing nothing. Sawft,
