Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
C.Biscuit97 replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because you foolishly lumped him in with Jackson, who has been a much, much better player. and you try to annoy people you don’t online? Sounds like you have a fulfilling life. I’ll bet you Lamar ends up with a top 5 contract and way more than Daniel Jones. Wanna bet, genius (a smart person uses better punctuation)? So if ends up getting what he wants, is he still an idiot? -
Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract

Peyton manning didn’t win his first playoff game until 27. Lamar is 26. Lot of time to change things. and his stock is “down” because he doesn’t have an agent and wants all guaranteed money. If this wasn’t the case, the Ravens would have signed him already. -
The fact that the Sabres have missed the playoffs as much as they have in a league wirh more playoff berths is way worse than the Bills drought. Plus, they have constantly have had top 5 picks, which the Bills rarely have. So it’s more than Tim’s they have a good team. this Sabres team is very entertaining. Love making money betting their overs. As someone who loved hockey and grew up playing it, I’m so happy they are fun. It would be awesome if they made the playoffs. And I would love any Buffalo championship. But hockey still feels a little minor league in the big picture. But I would have a lot of fun celebrating. Bills would be a national story and it would feel so amazing. Settle down Doug. Sabres haven’t even made the playoffs yet.

Chad Johnson says he lived in Bengals' stadium for two years
C.Biscuit97 replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s entertaining but dude lies all the time. -
Completely disagree. Which FAs that we really wanted have we missed out on? According to that logic, why aren’t Miami, the Chargers, and the jets/ giants getting all these great FAs? and Poyer will go wherever he gets the most money. I mean they live near Miami so it would make sense. But it’s a cash grab and I don’t blame him. It was great FA signing, respect the guy a lot, but i trust McDermott and company to find a good S for much, much cheaper.

Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract

Huntley has gone 3-5, thrown 3 tds to 5 ints the last 2 years. Lamar has went 15-9, thrown 33 tds to 20 ints. Dumb take. Even dumber is Lamar almost has thrown for more tds in his mvp season than Jones has thrown in his whole career. In Jones’ “breakout” season, Lamar threw for tds than Jones did in 12 games. Awful, awful comparisons. -
Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
C.Biscuit97 replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Did you just compare Jackson to Jones? Awful. Jackson wins 70% of his games and has won a MVP. Awful, awful comparison. Or he was limited in a run he’s at offense with terrible receivers. -
Yeah, that’s a wild take. Team cuts a guy in the first year of his contract and the player is supposed to loyalty no matter what? I don’t think that poster knows how pro sports work
-
I always hated that saying. I know you don’t mean it but always thought it was degrading to teachers haha. getting off my high horse, I do think the lesser players are better coaches than the stars. I just have friends who grind so hard in coaching but never get their break because they don’t know the right people.
-
Good for him. It’s also wild that guys can just get nfl jobs over guys who have been grinding for years. The best is when he gets a head coaching job for “fixing” a guy who was considered a borderline top 5 qb before last season.

You’re overreacting. It’s negotiations. I don’t totally agree with it but dude is going to get paid big time. -

C.Biscuit97 replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like Lamar more than most on this board and want to see him real receivers. I also think most agents are jokes and just steal from talented people. that said, he’s doing himself a huge disservice by not having someone negotiate for him. The Ravens want to sign him but I don’t blame them for not guaranteeing everything. And I don’t blame him for wanting it. But there needs to be some wiggle room. The Browns screwed everyone. -

Please tell me you didn’t use Dilfer as a comparison with Mahomes. Dear Lord. how super bowls did Reid go/ win before Mahomes? Maybe, and this is crazy, Reid is a really good coach and Mahomes is one of the greatest QBs ever. Dude could retire tomorrow and be a first ballot HOFer. But there isn’t that big of a difference between the wrs. And we have spent more resources on rbs than them. The Bills have also had far superior defenses to the Chiefs during the Mahomes/ Allen years. allen is amazing is at the absolute worst a top 5 qb. He is the last of our teams concerns. But Mahomes might be the best qb ever (best start to a career of anyone). Too many bills fans love nitpicking him. -
It would have to be really low money. Love the guy and love his attitude. I also don’t believe he was a big fan of Buffalo when he was here either.

You can get away with it if your qb is Mahomes. I get it. We’re Bills fans. but we always are trying to discredit him. That is a pedestrian group with the far majority of all other qbs. He won a SB with them Crazy part is I would talk myself into Sammy finally reaching his potential this time. That weirdo should have been so good. -

You are really counting their draft selection? Come on man. Check KC’s receivers career stats. Besides one good year from Juju, they are the definition of JAGs. Gabe Davis would have the second best career average of any receiver on KC. completely agree the Bills need to get better and deeper. But mahomes made those guys serviceable. -
No way! But it looks so natural!

Put that group with an average qb- say Ryan Tannehill, it is the one of the worst groups in the nfl. All of those guys besides juju (who has regressed since his rookie year), all had their best seasons of the careers with Mahomes. It’s not a coincidence. I think the Pats, Bears, and Ravens are worst but there aren’t too many more I’d put them ahead of it. where do slot KC and where do you slot the Bills? I know some bills try to find any way to discredit mahomes but the groups are pretty similar. I bet they both walk. Juju is annoying and is basically a possession number 2 at best and Hardman is whatever. Won’t be shocked if they draft a guy high or make another trade. Probably shouldn’t count on Toney because he’s made of our glass but he would be really dangerous if he could stay healthy. Plus, the drafted Moore in the 2nd last year. the bills will have to do this strategy pretty soon too. -
Shakir Training with Moulds
C.Biscuit97 replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sammy Watkins was one of the greatest college receivers I have seen and had dominant stretches with some of the crappy qbs we had here. Obviously, he turned out to be a huge weirdo and could never stay healthy but his talent is very real and it’s why he keeps getting jobs. I don’t even think he’s 30 yet somehow. and in regards to Evans. He was Marvin Harrison without a dome and Payton manning imo. Dude looked like a stud with JP Losman. Such a smooth route runner. Receiver is the most dependent position in sports and we wasted some good ones -
Shakir Training with Moulds
C.Biscuit97 replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oh yeah pre social media. I had some exes who had some experiences with him when they are far too young to be talking to him. But great, great receiver. in terms of just talent, Moulds, Lee Evans, and Sammy (if he could stay healthy) had borderline HOF talent if they ever played with the right qb. All of those guys in their prime would have been amazing with Allen. It’s such a different game though. I actually think Diggs fits this era better than Moulds and Diggs would have been bullied in Moulds’ era of that makes sense. -

1 - we definitely need an upgrade in talent. I wish we had an Elijah Moore type. 2 - it’s crazy how much criticism that Fields and Jackson get because they are completely surrounded by junk. If the Bears upgrade their receivers, I can see him being a real problem. 3 - KC has an underrated crappy receiving core and it just adds to how great Mahomes is despite fans trying to hype up MVS. -
Dom Capers’ hair looks great and not fake at all. I hope when I’m his age my hair could look half as good!
-
Loved Bobby Woods. One of the toughest receivers ever. But he is done. Didn’t really have great physical tools before his injury. But man, that receiving core of Watkins, Woods, Hogan, and Goodwin had so much potential that never came close to getting reached. Nate Hackett killed EJ like he just killed Russell Wilson!

Shakir Training with Moulds
C.Biscuit97 replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in The Stadium Wall
Based on what I heard, he wasn’t using them that much either. Keep Shakir away from the ballet. Moulds might be my second favorite Bills receiver ever. Sadly, I heard some first hand accounts of him being mad creepy. Hopefully, he has matured with age because he was a great receiver and this guy could learn a lot from him.
