Twice now the Skins have made a good play on offense only to have it blow up( dropped pass, penalty). On the very next play a disastrous turnover leads to a Bears TD. Rough night in Suburban DC

ESPN: Bills have the best defense in football
zow2 replied to VW82's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Belichek always manages to confuse our offense or throw different wrinkles at them. NOw he has a very good D so that's a bit worrisome this week. Hey, how about the Bills staff come up with a few wrinkles to confuse ol' Tom and company ?!?!? -
McDermott takes it to another level again!

I love McD, but can he come up with something different to say in the lockerroom after victories?! "This team has heart man"!! -
Yep. I was watching w my son and told him a few times to watch for a flag on the Bills when i saw them hold, but it never came. They did let stuff go on both sides.

Yesterday, the clock seemed off in Josh's head. Maybe Cinci had him fooled on several plays, but he can't be running backwards like that. Last season, he would take off too early, but it was effective. He had huge chunk runs off those scrambles. This year he's hanging in the pocket as long as possible. It's helped his completion %, but eventually he's succumbing to the pressure. His big arm won't bail him out every time.

There was a play yesterday where Oliver was getting double teamed, he broke through and the Bengals guy had his entire arm around Oliver's chest/neck holding him. I was like sheesh, hope they're letting that stuff go for BOTH teams.

The NE defense hasn’t given up a TD yet this year. But 2 of those games were the Dolphins and Jets w no quarterback.

That’s fine. I’m happy. I was responding as to why PFT and other sites aren’t lauding the Bills. Buts let’s face it. They snuck by the Jets and Bengals with no room to spare. New England is a 7 point favorite in our house. Time to prove it to the nation.

Bills offense is still pop-gun. Until they can stretch the field and hit some big plays they won’t get much national respect for being 3-0. The national media love the big TD’s and high passing numbers

Josh sucked today. I’m sorry. He looked like Tyree Allen. In his first ever start, Daniel Jones looks better. But it’s one game and he will improve

Allen looks horrible. Hanging onto the ball forever. He need to either take off or throw quickly -

If he holds on to the ball any longer in the pocket start calling him Tyree Allen. -
If the Bills are indeed Fools Gold, they will lose to Cinci this weekend. Whatever is meant to be will be played out on the field this season. I don’t care about some writers opinion.

That sucks for Kroft..... but i do have faith in the young guys and that's a great feeling.

I have friends who are PSL holders with a couple other NFL teams. 2+ years ago they had no trouble reselling their game tickets for a reasonable profit if they could not attend. Not sure of the exact reason, but they are having a tough time reselling their tix these days for anything above face value. Often times they are selling below face. People just aren't as into going anymore. Places like Green Bay and Buffalo stay steady because for 8 times a year it's the BIG event in town. In the big cities, it's not that big a deal.

I'm surprised Indy waived him, unless there is something he did behind the scenes that we don't know about. I'm sure Frank made it clear there's a zero tolerance rule surrounding Chad. But based on his preseason work for a few years now, he's better than some of these backup QB clowns starting this weekend.

Buffalo in the fall is so HOT they clearly want to make the road team wear their sun-absorbing dark jersey's. Worked so well against the Chargers last season. But hey, it's not unique to Buffalo....several home teams have worn white jersey's early in the season like Baltimore this past weekend vs Arizona. Also, the players/coaches are superstitious. They won 2 games already in white jersey's so maybe they just want to roll with it. For me I prefer the home uni to be the classic blue jersey w/ white pants. That should be it every week.

Jeez, no one is saying Kelly should have hopped a private jet and flown down to Texas. Just pick up a phone while the guy is lying there dying in hospice care. Not that difficult. I'd like to think Pancho is up there now pulling a few strings in the Bills favor.... They are off to a great start including one improbable comeback. Just sayin'.

Buffalo Bills to fans on game day: Behave or be gone
zow2 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A lot of these dummies who are getting hammered, starting crap with opposing fans and jumping through tables will grow up eventually. They will look back at how stupid they acted. Now the younger crowd coming up will see enforcement, as they should. Maybe this era of ridiculous behavior will have peaked. Sounds like maybe it already has. -
He wanted to leave, he was done. But he didn't want anyone to see him leave and have to give an explanation. Pretty lame all around. If he had waited until 6pm that evening and announced his retirement, the players would have lined up to hug him and see him off. He would have been applauded. He wouldn't have had to deal with backlash. What's stupid is that he knew this. He knew he'd get slammed by everyone, but did it anyway.

Just Beat the Bengals -- Don't Look Ahead
zow2 replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of any team/fanbase, the Buffalo Bills are not the ones to ever look ahead or take an opponent lightly. There has not been enough winning around here to be that cocky. Cinci has NFL players and are dangerous. A few years ago when Cinci was good and the Bills were crap we went in there an beat em. They could do the same here.
