  1. The glass half full thing is that you want to be playing the best football the final 6-7 weeks and into playoffs. So they are struggling now and facing adversity. But the goals are still there and in play. Better to get slapped back to reality now. There was zero intensity today and they were totally out-physical’d by the Jags. That might be the slap they needed.
  2. That Gabe Davis play. Yea. , and i knew we were jinxed when all the national pregame shows put up Josh Allen’s ridiculously productive 2021 road stats. They were gushing. and i thought to myself well, he’s due for a regression, a stinker. and the whole offense stunk.
  3. I spent some bucks on a last minute trip to Nashville a couple weeks ago. Still really enjoyed it, and it was an epic game (unlike today). i assumed we had a slew of Wins upcoming so i didn’t sweat the loss too much. Now i’m not so sure. And yeah, playing in front of tons of Bills fans really does nothing for this club.
  4. It’s funny, been watching Red Zone and my local game late this afternoon for a while and not seeing many flags at all. it’s like every other play in a Bills game is flagged,, but these other games are not so ticky tack. frustrating.
  5. I said the same thing today. The gut wrenching losses give me more pain than the wins give me joy. So not sure how to deal with that going forward. It’s especially tough when the club has Super Bowl potential (or at least we think they did).
  6. My biggest beef is the same ol thing from last year. no running game other than Josh. Zero chance they win in the playoffs with no rushing game to speak of.
  7. Just too many fans and media don’t respect opponents in the NFL. it’s an any given Sunday league and has been forever
  8. I love when they get all hyped up and crazy and a few minutes in Miami starts moving the ball on 'em. Then a little bit of frustration sets in "C'mon fellas!" Make a play!
  9. Anyone else worried about the curse of Manningcast? Saw that somewhere online today. The active players who have appeared have lost their next games.
  10. Peterman. Nice guy. Best known for making Sean McDermott the laughingstock of the NFL for a bit. I’m sure Sean cringes at that period in his life.
  11. I thought it was interesting in post-game when Bass said his maximum distance in that direction was 59 yards,, (with wind?) and the other direction was 57 yards. Now i find that amazing since the 57 yard direction would have been against the wind, no? Maybe it was a pure cross wind on Sunday, I couldn't tell. But the dude has some ridiculous range. And he's young. The leg still might get stronger.
  12. Miami has to feel somewhat like Buffalo did all those years trying to beat the Pats and Brady. How do they beat Josh Allen? It has to be frustrating as hell for their fans too. But I love it.
  13. Oh my, Miami could steal this game right at the end. And we are the worst at defending 2 point conversions
  14. It’s good to have respect for the opponent. it’s NFL football, not Georgia vs. Norfolk St. I think the Bills win, but i also think Miami comes to play. Like the OP said, they have to be sick of hearing how much JA owns them and how much they suck. Miami actually has some talent, they have underachieved massively so far.
  15. My takeaway, at the end both teams went for the knockout punch. Green Bay went for 4th and goal to put the game out of reach and Failed. Arizona, in chip shot FG range threw the ball. INT, Fail. Buffalo went for it late at Tenn. Fail. I'm just too much of an old school guy. Sometimes take the FG and allow your entire team to win a game, instead of one play. Defenses really dig in on these all or nothing plays. I don't care what the analytics say, it's not always the best call to take the risky play.
  16. The Mannings are back a week too late.
  17. Even when the Bills stunk and the Patriots were dominant all those years we still gave them a decent game every once in a while. I feel like Miami is going to really dig in for this one. There's only so many times that the Fish and Brian Flores care to be embarrassed by Buffalo. I hope the Bills coming out of the bye week aren't complacent. It's the NFL and i think Miami will be tough this Sunday.
  18. Very solid win by the Colts... especially being a dome team in weather. Indy was not going to allow another 4th Qtr meltdown like they did vs. Baltimore. They took control in the 4th.
  19. Yeah, probably. But he didn’t convert and Bills lost head to head. And then Tenn comes out and kills KC worse than we did. So for tonight, Tennessee gets ranked ahead of Buf.
  20. Heinicke’s knee touched just before ball crossed the goaline. That killed the play. He should’ve just stayed in on his feet and ran to the pylon, easy TD….OR he could’ve dove in headfirst before touching his knee. He’s been criticized for absorbing too much contact and was just trying to play it safe and not get hit. I guarantee he will never do that again.
  21. important AFC games are done for the week. My top 5 AFC as of Sunday night. Tennessee Buffalo Cincinnati Baltimore LA Chargers I want to put Cleveland in there but i can’t with Mayfield out. and the Chargers edged them head to head. Seems weird with no KC in there.
  22. The game just shows once again that when you play a decent/good opponent, the difference between winning and losing is razor thin. A play here and there... - an inaccurate throw to an open receiver - an edge rushing defender getting a hand on a Josh throw - a very costly special teams penalty - a first and goal overturned - a failed 4th down conversion We had a bunch of plays in the Bills favor too, but just one too many going Tennessee's way.
  23. The Bills play good football on the road so I wouldn't be that concerned if they are #2. I'd rather be #1 but think they can fulfill all their goals being #2.
  24. Most people know the window is open “Now”. next season is an entirely new deal and the team as a whole may not be as good. So i can see why fans are being fanatical about Josh, etc. Get the home field and win this thing. This Year.
  25. Walking to the stadium it felt like a 50/50 split because every Bills fan wears the team colors. But when the place was full and those big moments came for Tennessee fans to make noise you could tell it was maybe 35%-40% Bills fans. which is still 25,000+ Buffalo fans and a ridiculous number for a road game. I was talking to a Tenn season ticket holder and he said the only other time he’s ever seen anything like it was when New England was great. They’d bring a ton of fans.
