  1. By the time 7pm kickoff happens, the Bills have basically had 9 days rest (assuming they don't kill each other in practice). Anyway, I'm expecting a solid game... all the nicks and bruises from Vegas should have healed up a bit.
  2. Yup. Too many fans, media, etc.. have pounded on the Titans and inferred that they won't be ready to play and will be missing too many guys. Some of that stuff seeps into Bills players ears. When the game kicks off, it will look like any other game, and Tenn will be hungry. Their key players will be there. I'll be disappointed if the Bills lose, but I don't expect them to jump out to a 7-0, 14-0 lead every week either. At some point they will be chasing from behind early. We'll see.
  3. Cool, glad to hear he's still part of the team...even in some weird way. I didn't like when that chick basically tried to destroy his career before it started on Twitter.
  4. Herbert is going to be a problem for the AFC West rivals for many years
  5. Anyone else feel pretty good that Miami took Tua and not Justin Herbert? i mean Tua could be really good, we just have no clue... or if he’s durable. But Herbert is the prototype and looks great so early in his career.
  6. " The more recent game was on Dec. 28, 2010 and it was between the Vikings against the Eagles. The game was postponed due to a blizzard in Philadelphia that brought more than a foot of snow to the city. For that game, the teams did not know the game was postponed until an hour before kickoff. The Eagles and the Vikings both lost their next game after playing on a Tuesday, which is something the Bills and Titans want to avoid."
  7. After he missed the chippy, you could see him trying to be extra cautious on the 49 yarder so he didn't pull it left.. He leg kick was really slow and deliberate. He did not kick that as hard as he can, no way. That being said, it's a mental position and once guys lose confidence plus age creeps in, it's all over.
  8. My takeaways from yesterday are that - Alex Smith is one tough MoFo. He's not good anymore but just being on the field was fantastic to see. - The Bills win over Miami and Las Vegas look pretty darn good. People just assume both those teams are blah, but those were decent wins. and the Rams was a very good win. KC would be a GREAT win if we can pull it off.
  9. Brutal injury... but can happen to any QB, especially the running QB's.
  10. Hausch money just missed a chip shot 24 yd FG. He might be looking for a new gig soon.
  11. I hear ya man 🤞. I have Diggs, and picked up Tre'Quan Smith of NO as a placeholder for Diggs' spot. Figured by the Monday night game, we will know for sure if Buf plays. The NFL not only has to worry about real player safety, but optics too. They are in a tough spot. If Buffalo/Tenn play and the Bills get one positive test over the following week (whether from the Titans, from the travel or just by chance)..the league will get blasted.
  12. I don’t disagree. But we also would have said it’s completely ridiculous to have a team fly in a few hours before game time and play an NFL game. and we saw that ridiculousness last Monday night
  13. Pivot. Fly the Bills and any negative tested and safe Titans to a neutral location the day of the game and play it. Then fly out. I don’t want the Bills hanging in Nashville or near the Titans facility. They had the Patriots do it for KC.
  14. There’s some banter on ESPN that the Miami/Denver game postponed next weekend may Never be rescheduled if there won’t be any impacts on playoffs
  15. It's too stressful for the league, coaches, players, etc.. They should just postpone this game for now. I mean they could come up with another positive test or two between now and Tuesday morning. I'm hesitant on the forfeit stuff. It does sound like they had an unauthorized get together.. but it wasn't malicious from what i read. And the fact someone got the virus initially could happen to any team. I'm just leery because Buffalo could have an outbreak at some point. And we'd be furious if the rest of the league were calling for the Bills to forfeit games. We would want things re-arranged. On the plus side, most of the cases so far have been asymptomatic according to ESPN., and in a couple cases very mild symptoms.
  16. Uh, sorry NFL.. I have Diggs and Allen on various FF teams. Need a decision before 12:45. It's all about me and what I need!
  17. Well one thing i agree with is you can’t have them forfeit the Bills game and then not forfeit the Steelers game too. That should be two L’s for tennessee. not for getting Covid, but for breaking the protocol rules after they knew
  18. Titans coach positive test means the virus is still around that club. i’m the first one to say it’s not a death sentence but if the league is trying to portray”safety first” then they need to reschedule the game much like Den/Mia. There have been too many cases on the Titans to blow it off like they did for Atlanta and their practice squad DB.
  19. Yep. that was the plan if Tuesday get cancelled
  20. postpone this game. i don’t want the bills knocking heads with a team where covid is all over the place. we knew some teams wouldn’t play the full 16 games. just live with it
  21. I think any favorable calls (or non calls on Buffalo) would come from McDermott finally earning the respect of the refs. Remember when Rex’s teams were flagged for everything in part because Rex was known for lack of discipline? McDermott is the opposite and i think refs go in to these games with that stuff subconsciously playing in their heads.
  22. is this game nationally televised on CBS ? i know it’s on Yahoo as well. i’ll be watching from out of the Bills market.
  23. Assuming the Tennessee game goes off ok, I'm just bummed that our big prime time home game vs KC- under the lights- will be buried in the mix on Sunday afternoon. Would be nice if they could move it to Sunday eve or Monday eve. Without having to inconvenience fans, the precedent has been set that the NFL is able to switch games around at a moment's notice. and place them wherever they want.
  24. How do we know with 100% certainty who will be OUT for the Titans? I am not following all the Covid comeback procedures but I would think if the guys that tested positive the first few days are testing negative now ...and are not showing symptoms, then they would be active. Anyone have the scoop?
  25. The pouring rains from Hurricane Delta will be directly over Nashville at 1pm Sunday. So it's a good thing the game is moved to Tuesday as the forecast is 72 and partly sunny.
