I might be a bit of a degen. Just put in a Draft Kings contest lineup for the first XFL weekend. Like throwing darts at a lineup board but I did take Cardale at QB.

I'm intrigued by the XFL. Not sure why but I'll give it a shot and watch a bit here and there. It will be interesting to see if fans show up and if they get ratings. As long as they don't try to compete with the NFL, they can carve out a small niche.

The DC Defenders have a couple of UB Bulls which is kinda cool for us UB fans who live near DC> QB Tyree Jackson C James O'Hagan They also had a third UB Bull, Kristjan Sokoli (DE) but he was cut last week.

Jackson just had one of the best seasons a QB can have and the OP is wondering if he will be viable? Cmon.

As i recall Sammy was down on the Bills and Buffalo. So McBeane did what McBeane does... they keep guys that WANT to be here and accommodate the guys who don't. In other words...see ya.

The first time i heard her I'm thinking why are they allowing her to speak on air? She's ok for taped video segments on the Bills website. I have no problem w that,,, But hey, I'm just a long time veteran Bills fan who doesn't really like the football product delivered to me on air by what sounds like a 19 year old.

Heard an interview with Frank Gore this morning. Lot's of fluff questions about his days at the U and with the 49ers.. Obviously he's rooting for SF in the Super Bowl. Regarding his time with the Bills he had a few things to say: - Enjoyed seeing Josh Allen grow in his 2nd full season. took a step forward. He's a very competitive guy. Had fun playing w him - Bills have a great Locker-room, they have so much talent. Gonna make some noise the next couple years. - Coach McDermott and Beane have done an excellent job. He's a man of few words so what he says carries weight. I thought it was interesting how he referred to the Bills as "they" a few times. Not we. Like he's on the outside looking in.

That's totally fair and is a good professional statement about this accident. But for us keyboard air disaster amateurs, this looks like CFIT (controlled flight into terrain) and was due to the thick fog conditions at that time and location. Lot's of other factors led to the chain of events that doomed them (and the NTSB will expertly sort it out)..., but if there was no fog layer, Kobe, his daughter and the other families would still be alive IMO.

Yep. I think he was turning around to get back to some visibility, from the area he just came from. But spatial disorientation took over on the turn, and he lost altitude quickly, slamming into the hill. He was flying a copter, why couldn't he just hover for a couple mins while re-gaining his bearings?...maybe get higher to speak with ATC. The pilot probably did hundreds of flights around the LA basin and was overconfident, I dunno. Just can't imagine those kinds of high speeds in thick low level fog.

The further Shady McCoy's time in Buffalo passes on...the more stories will come out about his time here not being all that great. Just wish it would be left at..." i enjoyed my time in Buffalo, Great fans, I'll always have fond memories" END. But of course, reporters will press and ask about it to build a story..and Shady doesn't have much of a filter when pressed.

I recall some rumblings leading up to the draft about DeShaun Watson...that maybe he was in play. There was not one radio interview or lead up draft rumor of Buffalo being interested in Pat Mahomes. There was nada, zippo! So how can anyone possibly be mad about trading w/ KC? If anyone wants to be fake outraged, then do it over Watson because he was actually mentioned as a possibility. Give credit to Andy Reid. Because everyone who drafted in front of Buffalo would've taken Mahomes with 20/20 hindsight.

Even though Jimmy Grapes only threw 10 passes or whatever today.. the Patriots actually had another Super Bowl QB on their roster and traded him away. That’s a bonus for Bills fans

Right now the Bills are like the 2012-2015 Bengals.. Pretty solid D, need a bit more out of the offense and QB to get to the next level. Anyway, glad to see Burrow looking forward to Cincinnati. He's from a poor area of Ohio, I'm sure he'd be thrilled playing anywhere but in his native Ohio is pretty cool.
