Let me start by saying I'm thrilled with the win.. I couldn't even sleep last night. Just an unreal season and it's still going. One thing that bothered me. and this is the 2nd time under McDermott in a high wind game (happened vs. Philly last year i believe). Even though we WON the coin toss we somehow allowed our opponent to have the wind at their backs in the 2nd and 4th quarters. Can someone explain how that happened? That can't be allowed to happen. The 2nd and 4th are the two most important quarters because they are more drawn out. There are timeouts, 2-minute warning, etc.. Teams usually go up tempo before the end of halves and there are more plays. There are usually last second FG attempts at the end of 2nd Qtr and end of games. The 1st and 3rd quarters are usually fast and end quickly. We basically had one possession in the 3rd quarter with the wind and scored a TD with it.. Fortunately Taron Johnson gave us a second TD in that Qtr. If it was a close game, Baltimore would have had the wind and better chance to kick a game winning FG at the buzzer. I need to understand why McD has allowed this to happen in such a big game.

how many tackles is Poyer gonna bounce off tonight? he sucks

just my first half opinion Feel very lucky that a HOF kicker misses two kicks D is playing as well as they can possibly play vs Baltimore. Prob won’t hold up. Offense is lost. too one dimensional. the narrative that Josh sucks in cold/wind is holding up. Need points and some running/ball control mixed in or our team of destiny will lose like 20-9. Stop going for home runs when you need 5 to keep a drive alive. it’s almost impossible to complete passes downfield. If Baltimore ends up WITH the wind for the 2nd and 4th quarters it’s a huge fail somewhere. That means we should not have deferred and taken the ball.

Not sure about emotional letdown. seems like in the NFL teams play better when they are business-like and under control. Bills can’t be over hyped tonight. just play their game and stay loose. Glad the game is in our stadium though. We Won’t have to hear any cheering for Ravens plays.

I hear ya. my wife asked me the other day about the Sabres and my fandom. i used to be a huge hockey fan. I told her, put it this way.. the last time the Sabres were in the playoff my twins were in first grade. Now they are 16 and learning to drive. it’s a disgrace to be down that long. I will hold out hope that they surprise me this season, but not looking good early.

Welp it's over before the game even starts....

another reason why i think Allen balls out and has a very good game in windy cold conditions. -
Let's hope.. The Bills D aren't a bunch of huge slow guys.. they are mostly on the lighter side and quick. Maybe that will be effective. Just a bit worried because we've all seen Milano and Edmunds juked out of their jocks more than a few times. Can't whiff on the first contact tonight like we did vs. Indy.

Baltimore's Defence - As good as advertised?

Their D is good but not great. the best offense they played late was Cleveland and the Browns moved the ball at will. (but so did Lamar). The winds tonight say 12-20mph gusting to 35. that hurts Buffalo more than the Ravens D. -
dang it, the wind looks to be worse than i thought. 15-20 with gusts to 35. That really messes with the Bills downfield passing game. I recall a windy game last season vs Philadelphia. Carson Wentz handled it so much better than Josh. Lots of accurate short passes to RBs and the TE. It’s unlikely to complete long downfield passes in those conditions unless there’s a moment when the wind subsides.
