  1. Yep. that was the plan if Tuesday get cancelled
  2. postpone this game. i don’t want the bills knocking heads with a team where covid is all over the place. we knew some teams wouldn’t play the full 16 games. just live with it
  3. I think any favorable calls (or non calls on Buffalo) would come from McDermott finally earning the respect of the refs. Remember when Rex’s teams were flagged for everything in part because Rex was known for lack of discipline? McDermott is the opposite and i think refs go in to these games with that stuff subconsciously playing in their heads.
  4. is this game nationally televised on CBS ? i know it’s on Yahoo as well. i’ll be watching from out of the Bills market.
  5. Assuming the Tennessee game goes off ok, I'm just bummed that our big prime time home game vs KC- under the lights- will be buried in the mix on Sunday afternoon. Would be nice if they could move it to Sunday eve or Monday eve. Without having to inconvenience fans, the precedent has been set that the NFL is able to switch games around at a moment's notice. and place them wherever they want.
  6. How do we know with 100% certainty who will be OUT for the Titans? I am not following all the Covid comeback procedures but I would think if the guys that tested positive the first few days are testing negative now ...and are not showing symptoms, then they would be active. Anyone have the scoop?
  7. The pouring rains from Hurricane Delta will be directly over Nashville at 1pm Sunday. So it's a good thing the game is moved to Tuesday as the forecast is 72 and partly sunny.
  8. First time I've had a chance to look at the board today. So you're telling me it's Thursday @ 3:20pm and we have no idea if the Titans can host a game yet?
  9. i’ll never forget Phil Simms taking a lot of crap on the CBS set for defending the Bills drafting of Josh Allen. Phil was the biggest Josh Allen fan coming out of the draft and never wavered. i think Chris is second on that list. they knew better than most and i respect that.
  10. A lot of un-New Englandy things going on tonight for the Pats.
  11. The Zebras pushing the chiefs down the field
  12. Thats true, but some teams (i.e. Browns) have learned that throwing less and running more = less mistakes by QB and winning. So there’s different recipes for winning in this league. Some teams throw for 300+ every other week and lose often.
  13. Oh man, how do they compete a fade pass there?!? dang, gotta give the Pats credit on that one.
  14. There’s just more holding being let go this year. Big reason scoring is up.
  15. Hoyer you dope! he has zero situational awareness in the red zone
  16. Pats in rhythm. playing keep away with the ball. that’s the recipe for staying close till late in the 4th when you’re outmanned on O
  17. New England’s D is so darn good. That’s one thing Belichek has in his back pocket always. A great D. all the way back to Super Bowl 25 and that Giants team.
  18. Good to see NE/KC back on for this week. Bottom line, unless there is a true outbreak on a team, I think the NFL train is going to roll even if there is one isolated known case. Also sounds like they will be exploring team isolation around week 9. Not a true bubble but keeping guys/Staff in a hotel together and away from family/friends outside the team may be the smart way to go. They can “compensate” the players union by shortening training camp and ditching preseason games again in 2021.
  19. Some of this is optics for the NFL. They don’t want to appear to be putting football ahead of safety. Something like 7 players on Virginia tested positive before their game today. they didn’t postpone it. they pulled those guys out and moved on. i get that the NFL has fewer players on each team. but the league will weather the storm and get through this.
  20. Damn Patriots will do everything in their power to get this game rescheduled for a later date. even if no one else tests positive. They don’t want Stidham facing KC
  21. Atlanta had a guy out of their game last week with a positive Covid test. Im sorry Cam has it, but if no other Patriots test positive they should play. i’m sure Belichek doesn’t want to play without his best QB so i anticipate the Pats do what they can do to get this game rescheduled
  22. There are 14 people in the Titans organization with Covid (2 more today). A lot can change but it's hard to foresee that in 10 days the Bills and Titans will be facing off in Nashville. I mean the Titans will need a few days of live practice next week at the very least. This is the NFL version of the Miami Marlins situation. The league is going to have to really button up on their protocols and safeguards. I think the Tennessee/Bills game will have to be made up down the road. Maybe, as a solution the NFL pushes the playoffs back a week or two in order to accommodate make up games.
  23. Not surprising that with more positive tests out of Nashville, the Bills game next weekend is in trouble. I thought that on Monday when the news broke. Bottom line- the NFL had 6 months to map out every possible scenario and I'm sure they did. There are no hard and fast rules in the Covid era of sports. They can move games around, add games on at the end of the season. What if instead of having the Super Bowl on Feb. 7th they just move it to Feb. 28th or mid-March? What's stopping them? There's no real rush. The NFL could tell the players that OTA's and preseason games in spring/summer 2021 would be curtailed as a concession. Make it right and fair for everyone and all teams.
  24. Great pass but I thought an even better catch.. Frozen rope, All hands, no bobble, body control, feet down,, just perfect and an awesome display of the skillset of both players.
  25. Good point about the field. Guys from both teams were slipping like crazy. I mentioned it to my son as we watched. I suppose that's better than a "sticky" turf like the 49ers complained about at Met Life Stadium the week before.
