  1. Very true. Nor does calling holding on a running play or catch & run.. when the guy grabbing a piece of jersey is 20 yards away on the other side of the field and has absolutely nothing to do with the play. It's refs looking to make calls.
  2. I went to the Tennessee game. At least it was a great game and beautiful weather. But a stupid L. We fans are giving this team unreal road support. Hopefully we get rewarded at some point.
  3. I have a buddy calling for McD's head. Says he is our "Tony Dungy" like the Bucs had... and won't win or compete for a Super Bowl until the Bills get their Gruden type guy... whatever that means. So yeah, there are people tiring of McDermott.
  4. The problem I always have with officiating is that they seem to want to be an integral part of the game. They should administrate the game.. keep the peace on the field, and make calls that are egregious. No one wants to see the ticky tack crap called that has no effect on the play. Don't throw a PI flag when you *think* there is contact. Only throw flags when stuff is 100% obvious.
  5. It's ridiculous, the Ravens sign dudes off the street like Davonte Freeman and they are still productive. We can't do anything here.
  6. This team is so Josh Allen dependent for everything on O. The only comparison in the AFC is prob Lamar Jackson. I mean if Allen is having even an iffy game, the entire offense goes to pieces. There's no one else to pick up the slack, and by that i mean you can't even hand the ball off and smashmouth for a bit.
  7. It's big trouble for the O since they are no longer an explosive passing attack coupled with a negligible running game and a not-so physical O-line. I hate them but it's another reason why i have liked the Browns (since game 1) to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. They have a strong line, very good RB's, and a solid passing game and QB/WR's, along with a good D.
  8. Something tells me a Mike Vrabel practice isn’t all horsing around and goof-ball-ish. I’ve seen some YouTube videos recently and there’s too much silliness going on. And some guys all of a sudden host their own podcasts. Get the team together McDermott and lay it down. You are failing at your job buddy. Let’s go. Who knows, the window may shut after this couple years run and/or the division could get much harder. The time is now.
  9. I gotta pin some of the "not ready to play" on McDermott and the team leaders. We better not see that again. Every game should be taken very seriously. It's all fun and cute when the guys are horsing around in practice, dancing, and doing their instagram nonsense and fluff pieces on Bills video. That should be over now. This was a spanking and it's time to play up to their potential and find an identity.
  10. The Pats are coming for Buffalo...but the Browns, Ravens are coming for the SuperBowl. Teams that can run the ball are going to be successful in Jan/Feb. I'd say Tennessee too but that Henry injury hurts. They have a tough, physical Oline so they might still be able to run the ball effectively enough.
  11. You have to have a feel for the game. McD is still learning on the job. There's a reason teams kick FG's on 4th down most of the time and don't go for it. It's a time tested successful NFL strategy. Get points. There aren't that many possessions in an NFL game. Get the 3 when it's there unless you absolutely must have 6+ points in crunch time. Admittedly I'm old school and conservative when it comes to NFL games.
  12. I had us down for 11 wins this year. A slight regression from last season, but i figured they would still win the AFC East. It's all still on the table. The SuperBowl winning recipe is to be playing your best football in the final 6-7 weeks and into the playoffs. So right now, the Bills are suffering through adversity. Hopefully they pull out of it. But yes, now they are in a dogfight to win the division and even get in.
  13. Tennessee’s Oline is built for running. They are a physical smash mouth unit. Bills Oline are finesse and scheme. They are coached that way i’m sure
  14. Titans are the class of the AFC right now. pulling all the right strings. making their 4th down conversions it seems every week. D making big plays. But who knows, you don’t want to be peaking in early Nov. You want to be playing the best ball in late Nov-Dec-Jan
  15. The Bills by themselves today had more penalties (12) than the total in 5 other NFL games. And they were tied in a 6th game. Just so much ticky tack stuff is called on the Bills it seems. Whatever, can’t blame refs for the loss but it’s brutal to watch all those flags.
  16. The glass half full thing is that you want to be playing the best football the final 6-7 weeks and into playoffs. So they are struggling now and facing adversity. But the goals are still there and in play. Better to get slapped back to reality now. There was zero intensity today and they were totally out-physical’d by the Jags. That might be the slap they needed.
  17. That Gabe Davis play. Yea. , and i knew we were jinxed when all the national pregame shows put up Josh Allen’s ridiculously productive 2021 road stats. They were gushing. and i thought to myself well, he’s due for a regression, a stinker. and the whole offense stunk.
  18. I spent some bucks on a last minute trip to Nashville a couple weeks ago. Still really enjoyed it, and it was an epic game (unlike today). i assumed we had a slew of Wins upcoming so i didn’t sweat the loss too much. Now i’m not so sure. And yeah, playing in front of tons of Bills fans really does nothing for this club.
  19. It’s funny, been watching Red Zone and my local game late this afternoon for a while and not seeing many flags at all. it’s like every other play in a Bills game is flagged,, but these other games are not so ticky tack. frustrating.
  20. I said the same thing today. The gut wrenching losses give me more pain than the wins give me joy. So not sure how to deal with that going forward. It’s especially tough when the club has Super Bowl potential (or at least we think they did).
  21. My biggest beef is the same ol thing from last year. no running game other than Josh. Zero chance they win in the playoffs with no rushing game to speak of.
  22. Just too many fans and media don’t respect opponents in the NFL. it’s an any given Sunday league and has been forever
  23. I love when they get all hyped up and crazy and a few minutes in Miami starts moving the ball on 'em. Then a little bit of frustration sets in "C'mon fellas!" Make a play!
  24. Anyone else worried about the curse of Manningcast? Saw that somewhere online today. The active players who have appeared have lost their next games.
  25. Peterman. Nice guy. Best known for making Sean McDermott the laughingstock of the NFL for a bit. I’m sure Sean cringes at that period in his life.
