  1. Hoyer you dope! he has zero situational awareness in the red zone
  2. Pats in rhythm. playing keep away with the ball. that’s the recipe for staying close till late in the 4th when you’re outmanned on O
  3. New England’s D is so darn good. That’s one thing Belichek has in his back pocket always. A great D. all the way back to Super Bowl 25 and that Giants team.
  4. Good to see NE/KC back on for this week. Bottom line, unless there is a true outbreak on a team, I think the NFL train is going to roll even if there is one isolated known case. Also sounds like they will be exploring team isolation around week 9. Not a true bubble but keeping guys/Staff in a hotel together and away from family/friends outside the team may be the smart way to go. They can “compensate” the players union by shortening training camp and ditching preseason games again in 2021.
  5. Some of this is optics for the NFL. They don’t want to appear to be putting football ahead of safety. Something like 7 players on Virginia tested positive before their game today. they didn’t postpone it. they pulled those guys out and moved on. i get that the NFL has fewer players on each team. but the league will weather the storm and get through this.
  6. Damn Patriots will do everything in their power to get this game rescheduled for a later date. even if no one else tests positive. They don’t want Stidham facing KC
  7. Atlanta had a guy out of their game last week with a positive Covid test. Im sorry Cam has it, but if no other Patriots test positive they should play. i’m sure Belichek doesn’t want to play without his best QB so i anticipate the Pats do what they can do to get this game rescheduled
  8. There are 14 people in the Titans organization with Covid (2 more today). A lot can change but it's hard to foresee that in 10 days the Bills and Titans will be facing off in Nashville. I mean the Titans will need a few days of live practice next week at the very least. This is the NFL version of the Miami Marlins situation. The league is going to have to really button up on their protocols and safeguards. I think the Tennessee/Bills game will have to be made up down the road. Maybe, as a solution the NFL pushes the playoffs back a week or two in order to accommodate make up games.
  9. Not surprising that with more positive tests out of Nashville, the Bills game next weekend is in trouble. I thought that on Monday when the news broke. Bottom line- the NFL had 6 months to map out every possible scenario and I'm sure they did. There are no hard and fast rules in the Covid era of sports. They can move games around, add games on at the end of the season. What if instead of having the Super Bowl on Feb. 7th they just move it to Feb. 28th or mid-March? What's stopping them? There's no real rush. The NFL could tell the players that OTA's and preseason games in spring/summer 2021 would be curtailed as a concession. Make it right and fair for everyone and all teams.
  10. Great pass but I thought an even better catch.. Frozen rope, All hands, no bobble, body control, feet down,, just perfect and an awesome display of the skillset of both players.
  11. Good point about the field. Guys from both teams were slipping like crazy. I mentioned it to my son as we watched. I suppose that's better than a "sticky" turf like the 49ers complained about at Met Life Stadium the week before.
  12. It can be done. The NHL and NBA figured it out. MLB had a couple scares and somehow figured it out. But quite honestly if you have all these NFL players and staff going home to their families every week, it's not a controlled environment and positive cases will happen.
  13. Ha. i told some friends after week 1... watch, this will be the best season since the SB teams, we'll be 12-2 or whatever and then Covid will strike and and cancel the last few games playoffs. A very Buffalo thing to happen
  14. Having 9,000 fans spread out in a 70,000 seat stadium seems OK to me. I feel more at risk in crowded Walmart's, Costco's, etc.. That being said, we're 2-0 with no fans in the building!
  15. Josh should be watching Russell Wilson downfield throws on loop. They have such a nice trajectory and drop down in the bucket. After one game Josh’s accuracy looks better but it remains to be seen on those 30+yd passes.
  16. yep. they’ve put little cameras on the referees hats sometimes. They embed cameras on the end zone pylons. We see cameras in the back of NHL hockey nets behind the goalies. Of Course they can put a little camera pointed upwards on each side of the crossbar. I guess the league just chooses not to. stupid
  17. Josh loves the hero ball stuff. He can’t help it, it’s in his DNA. He probably knows it’s stupid to absorb so many hits running but he can’t resist. Even while showing improved accuracy, he still has to run a bit. Last year when he stopped for a few games his stats sucked
  18. My favorite combination. the classic blue jersey/white pants look. Love when we get to wear it on the road too.
  19. Listen- even if Tyler Bass has a few weeks where he’s pushing it too hard, if the Bills release him he’d be signed elsewhere in 5 minutes. And he’d most likely would have a lengthy NFL career. He didn’t hit all those FGs in college because he sucks. The guy who we cut in last years camp to keep Hausch is kicking for the Colts now. Kickers- ya gotta be patient or you end up developing a kid for someone else’s team.
  20. Makes you wonder what Diggs saw in Kirk Cousins that he disliked so much. They really didn’t seem to have the best relationship off the field. Cousins does seem like a phony...I saw his act in DC,
  21. there’s no way i’d release the kid. He has great talent but the yips hit him today hard. He didn’t play the wind correctly. It’s mechanics and experience. If they get rid of him, you’ll see Bass kicking for someone else successfully well into the future like Dustin Hopkins. Just gotta let him play his way out of this hopefully soon
  22. The vast majority of Americans think it's a death sentence. The reality is there are serious underlying conditions that will affect the outcome dramatically.. Elderly of course, obesity, diabetes and having cancer and/or getting chemo. If anyone falls into that category, they need to be very very careful. There's also an ethnicity component but I won't go into that here.
  23. I'm curious, personally, to see how these 12 or 14 players/staffers feel over the next week or two. Will they feel awful? will they feel no different than normal? Will any be hospitalized? I hope they report on this.
  24. I think what's universal is that adults are the big spreaders to other adults. Kids, especially under-13 have not proven to be spreaders in Europe, Asia and daycare's that have been open in America. The latest advice is to keep teachers in pods, with the same group of kids.. and keep the adults away from each other.
  25. It sucks. On a side note, this will be another kick in the nuts for Buffalo. Good chance the season gets postponed or scrubbed and they never set foot in BLo.
