  1. He said the Bills should win by 8-10 pts, but if Cincinnati didn't have O-line injuries, he would flip his prediction and pick Cinci by 8-10 pts. Therefore ALL the pressure is on Buffalo.
  2. TJ Houshmandzadeh said that the Bengals Left tackle is a former 2nd round pick from Clemson and he's pretty good. He thinks the guy will hold up.
  3. I heard him say that too. And that the pressure is all on the Bills. Listen, I don't care if Cincinnati's O-line was 100% healthy for this game. This is a must-win for the Bills and I expect them to win. The Championship window ain't going to stay open indefinitely. The time is now. It's a Super Bowl or bust season and we've known that from game 1.
  4. Yup. he is straddling the line of getting hit with an untimely 15 yarder that could cost us dearly. It's one thing when a player is the 3rd man in on a scuffle to be the peacemaker and pull guys back. Brown goes in wanting to F* someone up! He's a gigantic dude and I'm not sure he has any impulse control... Hopefully McD has gotten through.
  5. I bring up Spencer Brown because this dude needs to be careful after the whistle. There has been a few games this season and recently (Miami last week) where he was getting into it after a play ends and borderline getting a 15 yarder. He's been 3rd man in a few times on scuffles and had to be pulled back. He's physical, and a hot head, which can be good during the play, but not afterwards.
  6. Simple recipe Defense- Tackle well, don't whiff, be physical. Take the ball away. Keep chunk plays under control. Offense- Hang on to the ball. Be physical when running. Receivers cannot let the football deflect off their hands or chest into the waiting arms of defenders. Allen be playoff Allen.
  7. What was noticeable in that game was how physical Cincinnati came out on Defense and Offense. I mean it was really obvious that was their plan. They were smashing the Bills, and giving the extra "business" on tackles and blocks...borderline dirty. Well in one case it was dirty. I do not think the Bengals coud have maintained that intensity, but they had us for the 1st Qtr. I'm sure the Bills are aware of that aspect and this game will NOT be a repeat. Buffalo will not be out-physical'd in this one.
  8. That would be amazing but i can’t see that. I will say that a lot of Cincinnati’s recent playoff success (5 games) is due to positive turnover ratio in every game. That needs to end here. This game feels like a Super Bowl at Highmark Stadium. I do believe the winner of this game will also win the SB. It’s that big.
  9. I saw a lot of the Tampa game. The Bengals looked terrible against what proved to be a below avg Bucs team, except for those turnovers. That flipped the whole game. Cinci has been feasting off other teams turnovers for 5 straight playoff games. Credit to them they have a positive turnover ratio in all 5 games. I think that's been more about their playoff success than even Burrow. We'll see if the Bills can put a stop to that.
  10. Some of the narrative on ESPN Get Up this morning.. "The Buffalo Bills are playing bad football, sloppy ball, no pass rush they are descending". "The Bengals will get after the QB much better and they are an ascending team"
  11. I’ll tell you one thing, i trust Singletary a lot more getting the handoff on 3rd and 1 or short yardage. Motor does not go down with arms reaching out to grab him. He runs through tackles better than James Cook right now. I also think he has better vision to find the seam at this stage in his career. That’s not to say i don’t want Cook to get any carries, just not 75% like you suggest.
  12. They pretty much need to replicate the Titans game. that was probably the last time, and they sat guys for a Qtr.
  13. Jeez, between ESPN and the Cowherd show today, betting on the Bengals sounds like the play this weekend. Even Greg Cosell, while lauding Josh Allen, said the Bills offense just is not very talented,,,nor is the defense right now. It's all Josh and whether he is on that day.
  14. Joe is very good, but the Bengals D and + turnover ratio in their last 5 playoff games has been the key to their success. That script has to flip starting at 3pm Sunday.
  15. Dang, everyone on the ESPN Get UP set picked Burrow over Allen...and picked Cinci to win over the Bills on Sunday. They even smashed our mini helmet. Burrow and the Bengals are definitely the flavor this week for National media.
  16. It's gonna suck if he's wearing a Dolphins helmet next season.
  17. Kind of annoying to lose a home game but whatever. Give them what could be a possible Lake effect game (Late Nov.- ish). I've warmed up a little bit to these Europe games when it's not my team playing.. mainly because it's something to turn on at 9:30am other than pregame shows. And it's likely a game i wouldn't see more than 2 minutes of had it not been a standalone at 9:30a.
  18. A big part of the game will be which defense can make the other teams QB more uncomfortable. I'd like to see Allen get out of the pocket a bit and use his legs..create some big chunk plays throwing on the run or scrambling. To my eyeballs, when Allen stands flat-footed in the pocket and scans the field, he's not as productive and balls sometimes come out inaccurately as guys are falling around his legs. That's also where he gets his arm swiped at and possibly stripped. Joe "cool" is willing to eat it, turtle up, take the sack and knows he will get it back on the next play. Bills D has gotta cave in their line on critical 3rd down passing plays to get off the field.
  19. Yup. Let’s do it. gotta take advantage NOW. There’s really no guarantee for next year or beyond to make the final 8. I hope the mindset is to pound them into submission. Come out and be the more physical team and make big plays all over the field. I’ll be there screaming.
  20. People like to make a big deal about the timing, but i think this stuff happens every year. I really don't think it affects gameday prep. I'd like to see the last decade of Super Bowl winning teams and who on those staffs were interviewed during their playoff runs. I'm sure there was more than a few.
  21. I looked at the time and it was around 4:00pm and they just ended the 3rd Qtr. i remember thinking what the hell?!? Just a lot of injury stoppages, several long replay reviews, something like 45 pass incompletions, and the usual array of timeouts and referee stoppages. It also seemed like the TV commercials were never ending and longer than regular season games. But i can’t say for sure
  22. I’m starting to feel this game and i can see the Bills really putting out a great effort. Cinci is good, obviously, but you look at their recent string of playoff success their turnover ratio in the games are +2 +2 +1 +2 +1. They are creating and feasting off other teams mistakes and eeking out close wins. Looking at the Bills schedule, they haven’t played a real solid dominant home game since Pittsburgh. In the 6 home games since then, they’ve jumped out to leads in some but went ice cold and/or hung on for dear life. New England was weird since who knows what happens if they don’t get once in a generation kickoff returns? That won’t happen again. I really think Buffalo will play the game of their lives Sunday. They just need to control emotions and not get too amped up (which leads to missed tackles and blown assignments) They should be able to, they’ve played in plenty of big games the past couple years. Can’t wait.
  23. That’s a nice trip. I got a pair of tix in the 100 level early yesterday for $280/ea. fees added another $100+ to the final total. The other prices i saw were quite a bit more in that moment so i jumped on them. we’re making the 8 hour drive for this huge game. I wasn’t going to but it was like there was a “calling” in my head to get tix and come up.lol I came up for a game in November and sat in Sec. 240. Not all the 200 sections have radiant heat. only the sections under the overhang have it. 240 does not, you are exposed to the elements as are the other similar 200 level sections.
  24. Sure hope so. The Bills performance that beat the Titans would be nice. Can we dial that up?!? That's probably the most complete game of the season against a decent team (Tannehill was healthy then).
  25. The dead arm was bad, but the worst for me is how scared he is to be touched. It's impossible to play QB while trying to get the ball out in 1.5 seconds or whatever.. Receivers aren't even ready, the timing was all off and his WR's got clobbered on a few. He's pretty much an old wuss now. And i can relate, I'm older than him.
