  1. if the Bills beat Miami then 100% yes, i’d rather play the Chargers. I would like to avoid Cincinnati if at all possible. The Bengals are a better team than LA despite what it looks like tonight.
  2. I picked the Chargers but i cannot stand these coaches that blow off the 3 points early like that. Make it 7-3 it was like a 49 yarders and 4th and 7 is too risky for no reason this early.
  3. I saw an interview with Greg Cosell yesterday. He said while Thompson can use his legs to convert 3rd downs, etc. he’s not reading the defense well in pre snap or during the play. So if the Bills confuse him with coverages they should be successful. I mean the guy has hardly enough NFL experience to be able to perform at a high level, but we’ve now seen Brock Purdy so anything can happen i suppose.
  4. This game to me is all about the Bills offense. If they play a relatively clean game, and finish drives in the end zone, there’s no way Miami can match. Im going to assume the D plays ok, but i bet they get driven on a bit and give up more 3rd downs than we would like. If the O takes care of business, The D won’t be forced to play their A game, or even close against Tyreek and Waddle.
  5. He’s a great player, but he’s missed like 10 games over the last two season? that alone will cause some teams to pause and not offer the highest $. You gotta be available. Not to mention the fact he’s not the best thrower and the ravens offense even with Lamar can get stuck in the mud more often than you’d like.
  6. I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again. Josh Allen is the best football player in the league. Hands down, no debate. But i can’t quibble with anyone who wants to anoint Mahomes as the best QB.
  7. I agree. i don’t really get why Allen cannot ascend to the very top of award lists like this or even #2. Some of the stats he puts up have never been accomplished in the history of the game. I can’t rattle them off now but you see examples put out there by national media from time to time. Also, the Bills this season are the only team above 50% on 3rd down conversions. Which is a QB stat. That’s one of the most important stats in all the NFL. Anyway, whatever..Hurts who misses some games and rarely plays in awful weather, lol.
  8. I'd root for whichever team wins to look dominant, not some kind of fluky win. If the winner matches up with KC, need them to be looking really good.
  9. I'd agree with the just win mentality and not worry about style points. People sometimes forget it's NFL football playoffs. Miami has a whole bunch of other guys not named Skylar and those players are pretty good. It's a team game. What if Miami gets the kickoff, drives, takes 7 and a half minutes off the clock and goes up 7-0. The narrative about the whole game will change. So anyway, just win the game and move on.
  10. Fortunately the weather is finally not in terrible Orchard Park this weekend. It's in San Francisco with heavy rains and very windy for their game vs. Seattle.
  11. That would be surreal...to actually make the SB and then play Brady. Our fandom world would come full circle to beat the guy that caused us all that anguish over two decades.
  12. Really? There's at least 3 daily Delta flights per day to Atlanta....and they use the largest capacity jets that fly into BUF. And yeah, hopefully it's a home game vs San Diego...er LA.
  13. One of their very first drives the Steelers went down the field like a hot knife through butter. lol, you cmon. To the Bills credit, as they've done in several games this season the D got driven on quite a bit and bailed themselves out with forced turnovers and 4th down stops.
  14. Saw this stat. i have no way of verifying it, but pretty cool. *Trevor Lawrence has never lost a game on a Saturday in high school, college, or the NFL*
  15. You still gotta be ready and prepared. Last week Baltimore used a 3rd string QB no one ever heard of and rested some offensive players.. Cincinnati needed it and played the game for real. The Ravens still outgained the Bengals 386 to 257. Balt had four turnovers and only lost by 11. It's just a caution to beware and play the game with the intensity of everything on the line.
  16. If Hyde actually lines up back there, he doesn't even need to hit anyone. Just cover dudes. He's incredibly valuable calling out plays to the DB's as he can recognize stuff pre-snap that others can't.
  17. Don't forget, it's loud as hell there and Skylar hasn't really experienced that kind of added layer of noise. The helmet mic has somewhat killed that advantage but he still has to work through it and get guys in position pre snap and audible.
  18. Miami will try to ball control with running it of course, and short passes. Control the clock and shorten the game. If Allen is playoff Josh Allen, the Bills should move the ball and score to the point Miami can't just play keep away in hopes of winning. They will need points.
  19. Nobody is afraid of Skylar but hopefully Leslie and the D leave no stone unturned here and take the game more seriously than some fans. afterall, this is the same unit that gave up 34 completions, 65%, 327 yards in Kenny Pickett’s first start…and outright lost to Zach Wilson which is an embarrassment based on his other games this season.
  20. Yep. I think Blue jersey, white pants should always be the home combo...I don't like monochrome anything but can accept the Bills players like them and feel a positive vibe in the all blues. If that's what they want to wear in the playoff home game(s), I'm all for it. Next season I hope they go back to wearing the blue over white and string some wins together in that uni.
  21. It's been a little different this week regarding Tua. Not as much doom and gloom from National media demanding that Tua stays out for the rest of the season and contemplate retirement (as was the case in recent weeks). I think there's some wishful thinking amongst talking heads and neutral fans that Tua gets cleared to play and Miami can play close with Buffalo. At the end of the day people want to see competitive football games. I personally don't think Mike McDaniel will have anything to do with clearing Tua. They are going to defer to doctors..but there could be some organizational pressure to get him in there.
  22. I didn't hear it but apparently Rich Gannon killed Kingsbury on some broadcast yesterday... Something about him never getting another NFL head coaching gig. Gannon hinted that Kingbury's offense was so disorganized and his work with the QB was not good. Again I didn't hear it... but NO Thanks for me on Kingsbury. That turned me off.
  23. The Allen coaching tree sprouting a new branch.
  24. The thing is,,, Gabe was so great last season and early this season at catching with his hands,, and he's always been a great toe tapper on the sidelines. For whatever reason he's become a body-catcher, has the dropsies, and gets lost along the boundaries. I guess it's a confidence thing. Mental.
  25. I think we all knew what happened from the NFL "command center" but it's interesting to see it in writing. As for the Bengals, they were infuriated with the coin toss scenario, but it goes deeper. The Bills were basically stripped of control of the #1 seed and bye.. Ok, that's a league decision they have to live with, but if they match up with KC it's at least at a neutral field. Correct me if I'm wrong but if all results from week 18 remained the same, and if Cinci had beaten Buffalo on MNF, a potential divisional matchup would be in Cincinnati. So if I'm the Bengals I'd still be fairly pissed off that playing the Bills would not at least be on a neutral field as well.
