  1. Wouldn’t surprise me to see NE take an early lead. Our D tends to get gashed when they are totally amped up and not playing disciplined defense against the run. They over-pursue and miss tackles. Hope not, i expect the Bills to win the game.
  2. I think the Raiders get er done today. I really do. i definitely put an online bet in for LV +9.5. Maybe it’s wishful thinking but i’m banking on the due theory. KC is 15-0 with Mahomes in AFC West road games. That simply has to correct itself at some point. Let today be the day.
  3. I strongly believe that the majority of people you see on the KC and Cincinnati message boards, and the nasty commenters on Twitter, are the lowest of the low. These are the same people that likely wanted the game to continue that night...and definitely completed by the very next day. These are jerks without empathy, all they care about is winning and not the people involved. I don't believe the majority of fans from those teams feel that way, it's just the idiots are the loudest. And to be honest if the situation was reversed there would be a lot of jerky, immature Bills fans commenting too...I see these people all over the place on other teams' message boards and social media. They often act like jerks over the most mundane things and make our fanbase look like losers sometime.
  4. I agree. Not sure why that option wasn't on the table. And the Bengals first game should be at home, no coin flip. Some Cincinnati fans have had a meltdown over this whole new arrangement but they do have the benefit of not playing the Chiefs at Arrowhead if they get to the AFCCG,,, and that's very possible. Also, they make a big deal out of past tragedies and/or people dying not canceling games, etc. But none of those happened in-game. This really was unprecedented and it happened in week 17 so there is really no fair way to flex the game back in the schedule unless the entire playoff dates were re-organized. In the future, if a player is paralyzed in a game (hopefully never)...but if it does happen, who knows, the game might be postponed. Mental health is a much bigger deal now than even 10-15 years ago and the players mindset will be considered before continuing a game with a real life emergency happening if front of them.
  5. The Chiefs having control of the bye week and the Bengals potentially having to win a coin toss (vs Baltimore if they lose Sunday) are the only things that really rub me the wrong way.
  6. I kinda think he’s using this to get his club fired up to beat the Ravens and then into the playoffs. One thing the NFL did right, they made sure to keep the KC, Buffalo and Cincinnati games this weekend all meaningful.
  7. Now that Zac Taylor is going scorched earth on the playoff adjustments, he's going to have his guys running through a wall and playing the world is against us card. If the Bills play Cincinnati in the playoffs, that's gonna be our hardest game to get past.
  8. It's going to be Joe Flacco Sunday against Skylar Thompson. That's crazy for such a big game for Miami.
  9. With all the love from every corner of America and the accommodations made for the Bills....They better WIN IT this season. This has to be the year. There's no choice but to win it. And Buffalo will get all neutral fans rooting for them. Even Cincinnati and KC fans would probably just say, fine take your darn Super Bowl trophy... and now disappear.
  10. I had to do an eyeroll when I heard his comment yesterday. I thought JA worked on his family cantaloupe farm? Whatever it is, it ain't affluenza.
  11. Seeing as NE is fighting for their playoff lives along with everything the Bills have on the line (seeding, avoiding Arrowhead)...this is kind of the first playoff game. Except if we lose, we're not going home.
  12. I think it's because they are not *guaranteed* a first round home game if they lose to the Ravens,,, AND they had a legit path to the 2 seed if they won the MNF game and maybe the 1 seed.
  13. I mean it's been Buffalo love all week. So just take it and be happy things are looking up. Even Nick Wright wore a Bills cap the other day on his show and listed Buffalo at the top of his hierarchy (power rankings).
  14. I think the Raiders are gonna show up. Stidham looked pretty good against a tough 49ers defense. I think this game will be close and LV will have a chance to win. Maybe they are due to get a late turnover in their favor to win it. I put an online bet on the Raiders +9.5. Maybe wishful thinking but i think that spread is too high.
  15. Their fanbase went from being sympathetic to very angry. Can’t say i blame them. But they are kind of assuming that up 7-3 and driving they would’ve beaten the Bills. I to view it from the other side. What if Buffalo was in Cincinnati shoes? How would we feel?
  16. I really think the Raiders have a chance to pull an upset. It’s their Super Bowl, it’s a rivalry game, they are as sick as any team of being dominated by KC. I heard somewhere that KC-Mahomes is 15-0 on the road against the AFC West. They are due for a clunker or for some weird stuff to happen. I think the Bills/Pats game will be for the 1 seed.
  17. From what i understand, if the Ravens win week 18, and they meet the Bengals in the Wild Card round, a coin flip will determine the home team. Which is part of why Cincinnati fans are all riled up.
  18. Lots of Cinci fans went from being sympathetic to mad after this press release. They feel they are being screwed. The thing is, Buffalo actually had control of the #1 seed destiny heading into the Bengals game. Then Cinci took a 7-3 lead and got to the Bills 48 before disaster struck. Plus Buffalo was down 2 defensive backs. So by Bengals fans rationale they were going to win, which you definitely cannot say for sure.
  19. Now that Damar is improving, the kid gloves are coming off. Bengals fans on their message board and social media are fairly pissed off. Claiming the Bills are using sympathy to drive themselves into the best seed position. Their feeling is Cinci would’ve beaten Buffalo and get the 2 seed maybe the 1.
  20. I feel bad for Tre. He used to be a big personality on the team,,,loud, funny...at the front and center of all the laughs on Bills social media. Since the injury he's been away from it, obviously lost his confidence and mojo. We don't hear much from him anymore. He's not happy with his performance, and the last we saw of him the other night he was emotionally broken after watching Hamlin go down. Just feel bad for the guy and hope he gets his game back and his confidence back someday.
  21. I really don't think they are fuming. It's pretty clear from some of the media insider stories that the NFL allowed Buffalo to take the lead and the Bills put the kibosh on resuming that game and Cincinnati was right there supporting any decision. Maybe even quietly, the NFL is relieved that THEY didn't have to make all the decisions to reshuffle the playoff weekends and somehow flex in the Bills/Bengals while trying to make the time between all the playoff games equitable. This gives them a chance to float some new ideas out there on how to proceed and no one can bash the NFL for it. They are doing their best.
  22. So if 8 teams, is it possible we beat New England this weekend and then have to play them again next weekend?
  23. I saw some clips from Saleh's press conference. He goes on to talk about how Zach needs to step away from football for a while and figure things out. Then says the Jets have "all the confidence in the world" in him. Yeah right. I had to LOL. No they don't. they are done with Zach. It's obvious.
  24. Shefter was on ESPN just now talking about all the scenarios in the thread above. He said any playoff changes will take a vote of all 32 owners, but ultimately the Commish will do whatever is in the best interest of the league. He is almost certain now that the Bills/Bengals game from Monday night will never be played. As a league source has indicated to him, the game has "bad mojo" and they just want to move on,,, move ahead, keep to the schedule, get Damar healthy and not look back at that game.
  25. Any of the scenarios are pretty wild but adding an 8 seed to the AFC side seems like the whackiest.
