I still think the body clock disadvantage is big and will lead to some sloppiness. Plus the Jags are pretty good. I believe the Bills win by a FG but it will be a closer game than it should be.

Not a Glab fan. She just says stuff all too often that is repeating the obvious. I’m sure she’s a nice person, maybe. I should ask Diggs.

This feels like a Vet rest game for him. I'm not saying his foot isn't hurt. But I bet if this was the AFC playoffs he'd be out there. But this season I am Ok with the club sitting guys out to preserve their health for the playoffs. The Bills have good depth and it will allow another player to shine who might have otherwise rode the bench this week.

Sounds like lots of Bears Mafia in the house or whatever they call themselves

I got 48 pts from DJ in my league. Feels like it’s gonna be a good fantasy week lol

Seems like FG kickers are nailing nearly everything this season. Some years there are a ton of missed kicks.

Looks like the Bills are Flying Virgin Atlantic to London

Massive. Every NFL week in America we hear what a disadvantage it is for West coast teams to fly east and play “at 10am” body clock. Well this is 5 hours east. Wouldn’t be a big deal if both teams had the same travel but this is a different kinda deal. -
Yep, the road “home” game, the massive body clock disadvantage against a team adjusted to UK time for 10+ days, and not playing in our crappy weather. It all pisses me off but i’ll try to enjoy the game lol. Gotta win to keep pace for that #1 seed. Miami has a layup this week too.

I hear ya. I get the whole London obligation, but dang, this is our home game and the Bills would throttle them in Orchard Park this weekend.
-
I think if they do lose it’s the same recipe as you see Washington getting boat raced by Chicago tonight. The team coming in has a chip on their shoulder and gets challenged. The Bears haven’t won a game yet, and are just playing harder. The Bills could get caught feeling good about themselves and the Jags could play their a$$es off. Plus the dreaded body clock disadvantage which i mentioned elsewhere

Yeah 5/23 is finished for now. they are still doing some painting detail overnight but it’s in full use. The A350 is an Impressive aircraft that they can get it loaded up, and fully fueled to Europe on an 8,829’ runway. The Atlas 747 probably doesn’t carry near the full fuel to Ft. Lauderdale. -

Yeah apparently the doctor of sports science says, stay on East coast time as best you can, play the game at 9:30am, win, get out. -
Nice. He’s one of my WRs too. Great start to the weekend

Bills were only up 16-0 on these guys in the 3rd Qtr. what’s wrong with Buffalo?!? Chicago is mauling them

The Bills plane will arrive at 4:28pm and is scheduled to depart BUF at 7:10pm. It's on FlightRadar as a Virgin Atlantic Airbus A350-1041. Pretty sweet plane.

Ok, now if the Bills lose I can blame Joe Collins.

I didn't read every post here so I may have missed it but when do the Bills fly to London? I figured they would leave no later than today.

Week 5, Jagoffs v. Bills - Predict the Score
zow2 replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
When's the last time an NFL team won four straight games by 28+ points? Someone will need to refresh me. I just can't imagine that happening. With the body clock disadvantage and law of averages, and the Jags being a decent (not great) team... I believe this game will be closer than it should be. There's going to be some adversity in this one and a turnover or two. Bills 27 Jags 24 -
Memo to all players when things are going poorly...shut up and play football. Try to get better.
-
The body clock disadvantage bothers me. The Bills lose a home game, play the Jags on a neutral field, and Jax gets 10+ days to have their internal clocks fully adjusted to UK time. Let’s face it, every year media and teams make a big deal about West coast teams going East and the disadvantage. That’s only 3 hours ahead. How about 5 hours ahead?!? advantage Jags
-
It’s all great, and a good sign for sure. but again, you don’t want to peak at Game #4. In this golden era that the Bills are in as an organization, they’ve never won an AFC championship or had the #1 seed. Gotta get this train really rolling in Dec/Jan.

Maybe the higher power likes Lobster and chowda... and hates wings and blue cheese

People around here have anxiety when the Bills don't win by 2, 3, 4 touchdowns. Yes, it's not the norm. Other teams can hardly score at all and Allen engineers an offense in Buffalo that makes it look too easy sometimes. I say it often, we are in the golden era of Bills football. Just hoping whatever higher power up there allows the city to win a Super Bowl trophy. Because we are spoiled and it would be such a downer if they can't get a Lombardi from this era we're in.

Leslie Frazier, Alex Smith, and the Golden Handcuffs

A better example of a coaching change, not a QB, will always be the Buccaneers firing of coach Tony Dungy back in 2001 for his inability to get a talented club to the Super Bowl, even though they had a very talented D for several years. Chucky was hired in 2002 and in his first season they went 12-4 and a Super Bowl Championship. -
I am not comfortable after 4 games with the Bills now considered the Elite team in the AFC, prohibitive favorites in most games, powerhouse, unstoppable, best defense in McDermott's era, etc.. So now they are going to have to go wire to wire as the AFC favorites with the bullseye on their backs to make the Super Bowl. I'd rather be playing well, winning a couple close games along the way, then playing their best football come December. But here we are. Jacksonville is just dangerous enough to cause problems. I hope not, but the Bills will have the dreaded bodyclock disadvantage as the Jags will be in London for 10+ days already.
