  1. Nick Wright killing Josh on the Cowherd show, lol. Sheesh. Says he plays like a maniac and his highs are high,,,but his basement is too far down. Says the Chief and Bengals and maybe even the Eagles aren't in danger of their QB giving away the game and Bills fans should be very concerned about that.
  2. The big narrative yesterday on the national sports shows is that Josh is this generations Brett Favre. He's such a gunslinger. He's high risk high reward. He gets intoxicated with throwing the ball downfield and blowing off the easy layup check downs. That New England week 18 game set Josh up for thinking the big play was the way to attack Miami. He's just gotta be careful. Sometimes it's better to give up on a play than put the ball in harms way. Because if he's careless with the ball vs Cincinnati, they have a QB that will make the Bills pay pretty quickly.
  3. I don't know if there's a stat for it, but the Bills offense with Allen must have the highest margin for error in the NFL. No other team can make the mistakes that Buffalo makes, especially on offense and still has a good chance to win.
  4. When it’s all said and done we might look back at that Miami game as the toughest and scariest game of the playoffs. We shall see.
  5. Josh Allen had 3 turnovers and the Bills won by 3. see the symmetry? it’s the power of the 3 every week.
  6. Just bought tickets for Sunday and driving up w my son,,, YEEEEESSSSSS!
  7. These next 3 games are gonna be the highest level opponents. Not sure if the Bills need to dial it back and be a bit more conservative? or if they continue to go Balls to the wall aggressive. After the Pats game week 18, Josh said something to the effect of "dink and dunks are OK, but it's time to start getting aggressive and let your dogs be dogs". I think he got a little too high on that concept yesterday and it almost got them eliminated. Get the ball out of your hand or take off and run. Can't just stand back there scanning the field too long.
  8. When you watch the other games, you realize a lot of teams give up 3rd and longs,,it's not unique to the Bills.
  9. I'm still bitter about the January 1989 AFC Championship loss at Cincinnati. That one hurt. Final was 21-10. The Bills need to avenge that L.
  10. I haven't watched more than a couple Bengals games but i get the impression they try to establish the run game, and stick with it. That will run the clock and keep the scores lower, and theoretically the games closer. I know they can go off and throw a bunch when they want to as well, but maybe they try to stick to the run first formula.
  11. I like being home over the Jungle that's for sure... but over the past few years I've listened to post game interviews with opposing players. Playing in Buffalo really gets the opponents excited. They enjoy the atmosphere. Even Skylar Thompson said it was a dream since he was a little kid to play in the environment he was at yesterday. A team like Cinci will be fired up to play in Orchard Park and shut the fans up. Just hoping their O-line woes turn the tide towards Buffalo.
  12. I enjoy when trends like that are brought up... I saw on the KC board, a few Chiefs fans are concerned that the NFL scheduled their game vs Jax on Saturday. Saturday is the day Trevor Lawrence and Etienne have never lost. Not in High School, College or the NFL. Personally i don't believe in any of the trends. There is no team of destiny, there are no pre-ordained results because one team is on a "magical" ride. Let's face it.. this is one game, in a 3 hour block of time, and whoever plays better and makes fewer mistakes will win.
  13. The announcers and ref in the booth give their opinions on these close plays and they can be very strong to one side... part of me wonders if the eye in the sky is listening to the broadcast and is influenced by their opinion so they don't get embroiled in some big controversial stuff. I'm not sure.. But i do know it was called a TD on the field and it took a very long time for them to break down the "catch" or non catch in super slo mo, frame by frame. This was not a no-brainer. The ball is allowed to contact the grass if the player exhibits control. and i thought he did. I did not think the grass was the reason he gained control if that makes sense.
  14. Shakir and the Knox end zone review. That game went from 21-0 to 17-17 in a blink... and i did blink unlike Von Miller! I still think Knox had control of that football a millisecond before it scraped a few blades of grass...which makes it a legal catch. I was surprised they overturned it. Romo and the ref in the booth were dying for it to be overturned so Miami could stay in the game a bit longer, and they sure did.
  15. I posted this in another thread, but it's specifically about Allen so I'll re-post it here. The key to beating Allen is making him uncomfortable,,, and he had several uncomfortable moments in the pocket yesterday.. Miami caved in the pocket and clogged up the middle running lanes on several occasions. It was a really nice job by Miami's D. They caused chaos around Allen. Most teams won't blitz Josh because he often burns them badly. But Miami said screw it and brought the heat often and it worked enough to be a major reason why Miami stayed in the game..... because it caused mistakes and incompletions. It will be interesting if Cincinnati tries to copy what Miami did. But lets keep in Mind Buffalo still scored 34,,,and that was including a missed 4th down conversion in FG range on the first drive.
  16. From browsing the Bengals board, those posters think Buffalo's defense sucks and can be exploited. Can't say i blame for thinking that way. Hopefully the Bills D steps up to the challenge of a really accurate QB coming here with dangerous WR's.

  18. I think the Bills will address the physicality. It was obvious during the MNF game at Cinci that the Bengals plan was to come out and punch the Bills in the mouth. They were physical at every level of Defense and offense in the short time they played., it was borderline over the edge.
  19. Daniel Jones turned into playoff Josh yesterday and Josh turned into Daniel Jones. BUT, with Josh Allen the Bills have the largest margin for error than any other team in the NFL. By that, I mean he can make more mistakes and the Bills still have a chance to come back and win. That was a Loss for just about every other team. I just don't get the need to throw so many low% deep passes, when there are clear options, wide open underneath? Sure, take a deep shot now and then on 1st down, or maybe 2nd and short but Josh doesn't need to swing for home runs so often. You miss and it kills the drive. Also, when the Bills try to run on 2nd and 8 and get 2 yards it often kills the drive too. Allen need to hang on to the ball when he gets hit. He's been loosey goosey like 2019. But I agree, without JA, the Bills aren't even close to the AFC final 4. Probably not even a playoff team. He's the sole reason.
  20. Bills had so much sloppy sh*t going on today. Tipped ball INT, Strip sack scoop and score, muffed punt (but recovered), balls grazing blades of grass resulting in incompletions, Diggs TD but not a TD because the ball moved ever so slightly down his leg. minus 1 turnover ratio. running game was negligible. Things gotta get cleaned up next week.
  21. As i said in another thread, the Bills put all this time and patience into Hodgins and then expose him like that. It’s shameful really that the guy is on their roster yet they couldn’t evaluate his talents and now he’s a stud in NY. Same season. This one is a bad one for Beane and McD.
  22. Ravens are doing a great job on D. Some might be due to familiarity. No chance the Bills D hold down Cincinnati like they’ve been so far. If they did, our O would take the game over unlike Baltimores.
  23. Allen needs to play a little more like Daniel Jones did today. Lol. well Jones was Efficient, ran well, protected the football at all times. Maybe it is Daboll.
  24. Good. Hurst was such a cocky SOB against us and earlier in this game.
  25. Unlike Skylar, this Burrow fella is pretty accurate.
