  1. It just makes players or fans feel better to say stuff like they ran out of gas. It sounds better than we played hard but they are better and kicked our a$$. I’ll say the same thing i’ve said since Super Bowl 28 ended. I don’t want to see the Bills back in the SB until they are darn sure to win it. Or as close as you can be to a sure thing. Clearly in this playoffs they were nowhere near as good as we thought early on. This club was not capable of winning the big game.
  2. As is the case with most NFL matchups that are one sided, Cincinnati isn’t as great as they looked on Sunday and Buffalo isn’t as awful. I expect KC with a hobbled Mahomes to play them much closer but the Bengals are a tough out for sure. And they make so few mistakes, it’s annoying lol.
  3. That was such an embarrassing and unprepared effort yesterday from so many coaches and players. Diggs should be pissed. It’s like the guys practiced this week for a preseason game. What did they even do all week…goof around in practice and give hugs to Hamlin? This team needs to hire some assassins for next season. Screw the culture.
  4. Cincy threw short passes to wide open guys and our footing was awful, then they pounded the run. Meanwhile Buffalo is throwing deep sideline passes in the snowfall with probably 5% chance to be completed. Footing was bad but a coaching and scheme mismatch was worse.
  5. It’s easy to say that about Cincinnati but let’s face it, this is the NFL, rarely do things go according to plan, or what’s on paper. I think Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Cleveland will be aiming their guns squarely at the Bengals and it won’t be easy. What KC has done in recent years with their string of AFC Championship games is remarkable.
  6. If the Bills ever do win it, it will likely be a season we don’t really expect it. They won’t win the division but will get in as a wild card, then go on a surprise run. I’ve seen it happen with my favorite team in another sport. Knocked at the door for a few years as a favorite, failed, then won it when least expected.
  7. I felt it man. Drove hundreds of miles to be at the game. I felt and heard no intensity all week. It was palpable. Just goodbyes, interviews and Good feels because Hamlin was in the building. I swear, the fans care more. Meanwhile Joe says the Super Bowl window is open as long as he’s playing…and the entire Bengals were pissed and felt disrespected.
  8. Such bad mojo all week with fans openly talking and planning trips to Atlanta. I know a few people that booked hotels around Phoenix. Coach interviewing, Poyer was blatantly saying goodbye to Buffalo even before the Bengals game. As much as i love Hamlin recovering i thought it was a distraction for him to be in the building all week. Don’t get me wrong it’s fine, I’m happy for him but the guys played like this was a preseason game.
  9. Ideally the Chiefs will get their revenge and beat the Bengals and crush Cincinnati fans. Then the NFC team will crush KC. that would be good with me.
  10. Agreed. The home uniform should always be Blue over white. These players need to stop being superstitious idiots. Play better and stop with the ugly blue track suits.
  11. Sounds like Diggs has had it up to here with the playoff failures and meltdowns. Who knows what his future will be with this team. He wants to win a Championship now. His prime years are getting used up.
  12. The Bills D has been fools gold for a while. Made their reputation last year against lousy teams. Their secret to success is allowing the short stuff, long drives, then bailing themselves out by forcing a turnover or 4th down stop or limiting to a FG. Yesterday they couldn’t even stop 3rd downs.
  13. I can’t say i disagree with hammering the offense… as all week i said the Bills would likely need 34 to win. So really, the D gave up what i and many others thought they would. They were pathetic but still, the offense didn’t do anything whatsoever to help win that game. Just no-shows. Terrible.
  14. I hate the eye rollers. Just don’t react,… read and move on. Let’s watch Mahomes on one leg next week, make plays from the pocket. That being said, the Bills would be a 6 win team without Allen. He’s everything. They just need to retool the offense and make it so he doesn’t have to make spectacular solo plays to win.
  15. No question, this is the first time i’ve felt the Bills regressing during the Allen era. So far it’s been ascending but we hit the wall recently and it culminated yesterday.
  16. All the talk the last few seasons was how Allen and Mahomes would be battling for the next decade. it’s really Mahomes and Burrow who are the big dogs.
  17. Another observation, i couldn’t believe how many Bengals fans were at the stadium today? by the end, they lined the lower level all around the visitors side. Like end zone to end zone. A few thousand id estimate.
  18. I was curious if the Bills would match up better with Cincinnati than they did in the playoffs vs KC. That’s a resounding no. I can see the Bengals beating KC this week especially with an injured Mahomes. I hate to say it, but Cincinnati may not win one Super Bowl., if they can keep their core together they should win multiple Super Bowls. As cocky as they are, that’s an impressive team. They don’t do anything to hurt themselves.
  19. It’s sad and becoming more clear and in focus now that Kansas City/Mahomes and Cincinnati/Burrow are better than Allen and the Bills. It doesn’t mean that will be the case every year but that’s reality these past few seasons and maybe going forward. It feels like if the Bills ever break through, it will be when it’s not expected. Maybe they don’t win the division one of these years, get in as a wild card and go on a run.
  20. I’m calm tonight because this was such a thorough butt kicking. We were not the better team, and would not have won the Super Bowl. Cincinnati has a nice offensive plan and exploited us. The Bills offensive plan is to wing it with Allen and maybe mix in a handoff here and there. The only thing that was stunning today is how woefully unprepared the Bills were. I’m blown away that McDermott did not have his guys ready to play. and Zac Taylor was dialed in.
  21. I was at the game today and this wasn’t painful. This was just a flat out beat down. It was more disappointing than hurtful. You could tell from the very first series we weren’t the better team. We kept hoping it would change but never felt any momentum. A soul crushing loss like 13 seconds would’ve left me scarred. I left the stadium today knowing full well this club was not going to come close to winning the Super Bowl. Not a chance. The Bengals are on a different level
  22. Unlike last week i think the D will play with an edge today and be super physical. We may not see “New England perfect game” Josh but he’s going to be dialed in and play a very good game. Cant wait. Leaving in a couple hours for the stadium.
  23. By the way, per Shefter the Bengals OC, Brian Callahan had a head coach interview with the Colts today. So we can call it a wash with distracted OC’s this weekend 😜
  24. I hear you. Let's face it, compared to what Miami started on offense last week, Cinci will be way way better.. and the Bills barely got by 34-31. Both teams have pressure.
