  1. Sucks for us but kinda weird not to have an emotional attachment to this game. Just watching some NFL. I have some extended family who live in Baltimore and they are freaking out today. Nerves, excitement, etc..
  2. The best thing about Brady is the ability to get the rushing attack going, not just Josh running. But the downfield passing game needs work.
  3. What i expect to see today is KC doing everything they did not do against the Bills. In other words they will most likely drop some passes, get some penalties, Oline won’t hold up on every pass attempt, Pacheco won’t gash them on every run, maybe Butker misses a FG. I expect KC to revert to what they were in the regular season. A very tough out but not nearly perfect offensively like they were against Buffalo. The Ravens will absolutely have something to do with that!
  4. Thuney and Willie Gay are inactive. We delivered Baltimore some important injuries on the KC side.
  5. It might take having one of those years when the Bills squeak in as the 7th seed. Get hot, run off 3 big unexpected road wins and win the SB. The year no one really expects it.
  6. I was in that camp with the Pats. NE had won so many big games and had all those accomplishments it didn’t matter if they had 2, 4 or 6 Super Bowls. I didn’t want teams like Carolina or Atlanta getting one ahead of us. KC can do nothing else to impress. The damage is done. Baltimore already has a couple SB’s as well. I’m thinking let Lamar win his. Wishful thinking i’m sure but maybe the Chiefs and Ravens desperation goes down a notch. Then It’s Allen competing with Burrow, Watson and whichever newbies come along (Stroud?).
  7. I enjoy when Jim Overdorf is brought up. I knew him way back in the day before he became the executive he is now. Such a weird dude, lol.
  8. The Bills win A LOT. And with winning comes poaching of your staff. Yet even with the losses of coaches every year they still win a lot. That’s what a franchise QB gives you.
  9. Allen is a ridiculous freak of a player not just a QB. He’s so much better then Cam Newton or Big Ben or all these other people in the past that he’s compared to. I don’t think he’s a stand in the pocket guy to pick teams apart. He’s a football player. Mahomes is an amazing QB, i think he sees the entire D moving in slow motion. He makes so many great throws from in and out of the pocket with accuracy. Sorry but he has the clutch gene over all the other guys out there.
  10. There are lots of nice people around… Would i donate to all these player causes over the years? nope. I was one and done after Andy Dalton. But it’s pretty cool to see all this support for Bass. I have no problem with these charity things. People obviously want to do it and it makes them feel good. I’m sure some Buffalo fans do it as part of the healing process from a sudden and disappointing end to a season.
  11. Part of me wants to see the Ravens kill the Chiefs. That way i can let it go knowing we would not have beaten Baltimore in their house.
  12. I think the last 2 losses to KC somewhat came down to a bad luck component and good luck for KC. Silly wind gust on Bass FG, dropped bombs, coin toss, D injuries, etc.. Also with KC’s tackles struggling this year and Last season the Cincinnati Oline being really injured… our top notch D-Line came up so small in two home Divisinal games. Really disappointing.
  13. There’s some national media predicting a comfortable Ravens win. I just see a tough close game either way. But i don’t think Lamar and that offense push the KC defense around like they were for 3 Qtrs at Buffalo. But Baltimore won’t allow KC to go through them with no resistance like Buffalo did.
  14. 100% I'm watching. And for whoever loses I hope it's an excruciating loss.
  15. I put this in the McDermott thread but maybe it belongs here... Daboll is wearing out his welcome in NY. The Giants fire Brian Daboll.. The Giants hire Bill Belicheck who is itching to come back and has respect of the Giants ownership. The Bills fire McDermott and bring Daboll home to be head coach. The Josh/Daboll partnership is back together for a SB run. Would this work?
  16. Just one more for the road.. Are we good?
  17. The idiots who were threatening Bass are likely the same idiots who threw snowballs at the chiefs players on the field and team bus, boo’d Taylor Swift walking in and got caught on video yelling at Gabe and saying nasty things to him, goading him into an argument. I hate those “fans” because they are complete losers and give the entirety of WNY a bad name. All that stuff was all over social media and YouTube this week.
  18. On Nick Wright's show today, First Things First...he took the Josh hate to a new level and said no way should Josh be on the MVP ballot, or Purdy either. He pointed to mostly the rushing game fluff's up Allen and that his passing stats are not good enough. But isn't Lamar about to win MVP in part due to his rushing game? That stuff is important in 2024. He didn't think two guys from the same team should be on the MVP ballot therefore he eliminated Purdy.
  19. I enjoy these types of curses. So technically they can beat the Lions on Sunday but will ultimately lose the SB.
  20. Well said by the OP. RIP to this good man. I was born in ‘65. Did i get one before i will die or did that not count? I’m thinking it’s a no.
  21. Next season the Bills will be regrouping due to cap reasons...and hopefully reloading. Unless they get lucky on some young guys, it's likely a regression season. That might be what the brass is waiting for to thank Sean for his service. Regression. It's a tough look to fire a head coach with his record over the past few years...and leading them to 5 straight wins, Division title (again), another playoff win and a razor thin loss to Mahomes/Reid. His Dec/Jan record is sick. in a good way. Although as you said, he has Allen to thank for that record.
  22. That's what I'm saying. Sunday eve with my son next to me, as we are both standing nervously watching the TV, we both agree during the 2-minute warning that Buffalo should get the first down and try to walk it off at the end with a late TD.... or at worst a walk off tying FG to send it to OT (from closer in). Make KC use their timeouts. Even in the moment i said TIME is most important thing. This was great, it was our time to finally end KC and not even give them a chance to have the ball back. And our coaches are so effing dumb and not clutch at the end of close playoff games. I'm not going to blame Allen simply because the Bills are literally nothing without him. He should have been coached there.
  23. Mahomes is the best Quarterback in the world. Throwing the football, accuracy, pocket presence, being clutch.... he is the best. Josh is the best overall football player in the league at this moment. Leader, Runner, trucking people, creating amazing throws.. not the best pocket passer imo. Lamar is like a scat back playing QB, super elusive when he wants to be.. not an awesome pocket passer by any means but can certainly sling it w accuracy at times.
  24. The possession strategy, in part to protect the depleted defense was masterful. Even Travis Kelce said on his podcast that it forced KC to be ultra proficient when they got the ball, because KC knew if their O failed they would not see the ball again for a while. Our coaches McD/Brady at the end have to be effing stupid. That's all I can think. or Allen went rogue and he should know better. I really think that even if he hit Shakir, it was at least 50/50 that KC still wins the game. There would have been too much time left.
