I’m sure he feels like crap. Two seasons in a row, the offense has the ball in their hands at the end to tie or lead, and gets nothing. Two end of game drives vs KC for all the marbles, Zero points. You aren’t going to the SB with that.

Zero chance I'd ever give up 2 first round picks in that scenario for Crosby.

this is the time of year at night i catch up on Netflix and a bunch of other shows i’ve put on the back burner. During the season I watch a ton of games not just Bills.

The Bills squeezed every last drop of good fortune out of our “takeaways” defense and the “tush push” offense. Eventually you run into the very best teams and you need actual defensive stops in big moments and real creative play calls to get that end of game TD we yearn for. I don’t feel it was even automatic that KC should have taken a 32-29 lead. We all applaud and say good job guys, you only gave up a field goal. from their own 32 yard line with 6:11 remaining in the game, tied 29 it only took the Chiefs 7 plays to get to our 17 yard line. Why couldn’t we stop them and force a punt.

13 seconds would’ve wiped out the KC “mastery” over us and probably would have wiped out any irrational Bengals fear as we would’ve beaten them. Buffalo beats KC in the regular season and acts like they won the Super Bowl. Meanwhile KC just pockets that little revenge motivation and pays us back in the playoffs.

Well, now we know why he was shanking so many. frustrated and anxiety ridden from knowing this would eventually hit the fan.

Bills Have Low Percentage of First Read Pass Completion- Why?
zow2 replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've always thought Josh is super special because he runs around and creates plays on the fly...whether by running or passing. But i've always said he's not a great stand in the pocket like a statue and scan the field... He's gotten better at it but he's not elite level accurate from the pocket in my opinion and I've also been shredded for this take. -
There was one national show yesterday linking 0-4 in Super Bowls and 0-4 vs Kansas City in this Josh Allen era. So they said the Bills are essentially 0 for 8 in huge games which is a giant kick in the nuts for Bills fans. Man that does hurt to hear it presented that way.

Plane crash at Reagan Ntll. airport. Plane went into the Potomac.
zow2 replied to Wacka's topic in Off the Wall
The copter pilots are looking right at the departing plane, speculation is that's who they think ATC is talking about. the doomed plane is coming very low from their left. It's dark, over water, city lights and airport lights in the background, impossible for the jet to see the helicopter. This is the situation they've been worried about around Reagan National for years. Just a lot of helicopter traffic around the east side of the Potomac river...all day and all night. Experts are saying Runway 33 landings are incompatible with the helicopter traffic and should have been decommissioned years ago. -
I have a big bottle of zinc gummies from Sam's Club. As soon as i get the feeling of a cold coming on i pop 2 every morning until it subsides. That and alot of soup.

I thought the Kincaid reaching on 3rd down was an obvious first down as well. Obviously the ref marked the ball where he thought his knee was down but Kincaid made a great play to keep his knees elevated. So the ball should have been marked where his elbow touched first and the ball was right on the yard line. First down. Unfortunately Buffalo rushed to the line, never took their time to have another look. Prob just assumed Allen would get it on the next play and we know what happened. Ugh.

I've landed on runway 33 a few times, coming in to DCA. That's going to be a big issue. The CRJ coming from the South towards main runway 1, then circles to the right over Bolling helicopter base along the shoreline, then banks left to line up with runway 33. The Blackhawks typically fly directly up and down that shoreline in the visual helicopter corridor. When ATC asked the copter if they had the plane in sight they responded yes, but now the authorities think it was looking at a plane taking off, not the one landing directly towards them. It's going to be human error, and the ATC did a terrible job of keeping that helicopter away from the arriving CRJ. They should never had allowed the jet to land at runway 33 if helicopter traffic was in the area. The main runway 1 is the safer choice since it never intersects with the helicopter corridor. -
Boxes of "Bills AFC Champions" T-shirts and hats on their way to Africa right now. It's just getting so old with the Chiefs already.

I know at the end of games, they are trying to work the clock down in addition to calling the best plays. But in the future, I would allow Allen to do Allen things. Let him roll out on every play and give him a run/pass option. Don't try to make him stand there in the pocket. He's not at his best standing in the pocket in my opinion. Too many receivers not getting open and sometimes he's just off. He's better running around creating stuff. That's his magic. And Kincaid should have caught that ridiculous heave at the end. and Diggs should have caught his heave last season.

Hard to beat the Chiefs and the refs every post-season
zow2 replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Listening to an Andy Reid interview today.. a couple things stood out. - Mahomes purposely does not run much until late in the season and playoffs. Then they cut him loose a bit, they had a few plays designed for him. - Andy admitted he keeps a few special play calls in his back pocket for special moments. He did that vs Buf including the last play to Perrine to clinch it. - He said Buffalo is a unique rivalry, he respects the hell out of Sean Mcd, and the Bills tend to bring out the very best in KC. - He coaches Mahomes differently now than he did 4-5 years ago. His feel for the game is so much better now, he asks Pat what he likes to run now. -
I'm still having a rough time dealing with the fact, our offense had the ball late two years in a row vs KC. We had a chance to score the game leading or game winning TD in back to back playoffs vs Mahomes/Reid. And what happened? The Bills got ZERO points. Two seasons, final drives game on the line. ZERO points. That is the opposite of clutch.

FINAL v3.0 now LIVE on p.15 - Gunner's 2025 Mock Draft

It all looks good except the Bills won’t have a 1st round pick. They will trade it in the Myles Garrett deal to bring him here. -
The NFL wants the Bills to win the Superbowl next year
zow2 replied to TrentEdwardsCheckDownOn4th's topic in The Stadium Wall
We just went through a season with a record low turnovers, probably close to a team record high takeaways, healthy OLine all season....relatively healthy across the board compared to other teams, super high point totals and point differential.. And yet they still don't reach the SB. I'm not sure they will be so fortunate next season, you can't count on it. The Bills are right there for 4+ years as maybe the best team in the NFL and no SB appearances. It's pretty depressing when you think about it. -
Washington Post Article on the Unique Suffering of Bills Fans
zow2 replied to Casey D's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s just a shame. 7 years in the league and Allen has no SB appearances. He and the Bills and us fans should legitimately have 2 SB wins by now. I’ve always thought Buffalo was somehow a curse, we have been teased with a Championship but just can’t achieve it. If Allen played in the NFC he’s prob have 5 SB appearances through his career. -
Jack Kemp was the man back in the day. QB’s are part of the puzzle, a big part. But defense still has a big hand in Championships. Which QB tandem would y’all rather have in your teams history? Steelers: Bradshaw / Big Ben Bills: Kelly / Allen I’d rather have our guys, not even close. But those Steelers QBs have all the hardware

The Bills are a great watch, no question. and their games are often exciting. Think this past season vs KC, at Rams, at Detroit to name a few. Also, against Baltimore and KC they stuck Buffalo in the high ratings Sunday evening windows. So those games being close and with the most available viewers were going to have huge numbers.

Xavier Worthy: So far, not much more than a gadget guy
zow2 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Im in this camp. I wasn’t enamored with Worthy. I really wanted them to trade up for Brian Thomas Jr. I’m all over the draft threads that night. But once they didn’t, and then made the trade with KC, i was all in on McConkey. So i can’t kill the Bills for not drafting Worthy, it hurt Sunday night but whatever. Coleman over McConkey, in hindsight, is rough.
