  1. The Bills win A LOT. And with winning comes poaching of your staff. Yet even with the losses of coaches every year they still win a lot. That’s what a franchise QB gives you.
  2. Allen is a ridiculous freak of a player not just a QB. He’s so much better then Cam Newton or Big Ben or all these other people in the past that he’s compared to. I don’t think he’s a stand in the pocket guy to pick teams apart. He’s a football player. Mahomes is an amazing QB, i think he sees the entire D moving in slow motion. He makes so many great throws from in and out of the pocket with accuracy. Sorry but he has the clutch gene over all the other guys out there.
  3. There are lots of nice people around… Would i donate to all these player causes over the years? nope. I was one and done after Andy Dalton. But it’s pretty cool to see all this support for Bass. I have no problem with these charity things. People obviously want to do it and it makes them feel good. I’m sure some Buffalo fans do it as part of the healing process from a sudden and disappointing end to a season.
  4. Part of me wants to see the Ravens kill the Chiefs. That way i can let it go knowing we would not have beaten Baltimore in their house.
  5. I think the last 2 losses to KC somewhat came down to a bad luck component and good luck for KC. Silly wind gust on Bass FG, dropped bombs, coin toss, D injuries, etc.. Also with KC’s tackles struggling this year and Last season the Cincinnati Oline being really injured… our top notch D-Line came up so small in two home Divisinal games. Really disappointing.
  6. There’s some national media predicting a comfortable Ravens win. I just see a tough close game either way. But i don’t think Lamar and that offense push the KC defense around like they were for 3 Qtrs at Buffalo. But Baltimore won’t allow KC to go through them with no resistance like Buffalo did.
  7. 100% I'm watching. And for whoever loses I hope it's an excruciating loss.
  8. I put this in the McDermott thread but maybe it belongs here... Daboll is wearing out his welcome in NY. The Giants fire Brian Daboll.. The Giants hire Bill Belicheck who is itching to come back and has respect of the Giants ownership. The Bills fire McDermott and bring Daboll home to be head coach. The Josh/Daboll partnership is back together for a SB run. Would this work?
  9. Just one more for the road.. Are we good?
  10. The idiots who were threatening Bass are likely the same idiots who threw snowballs at the chiefs players on the field and team bus, boo’d Taylor Swift walking in and got caught on video yelling at Gabe and saying nasty things to him, goading him into an argument. I hate those “fans” because they are complete losers and give the entirety of WNY a bad name. All that stuff was all over social media and YouTube this week.
  11. On Nick Wright's show today, First Things First...he took the Josh hate to a new level and said no way should Josh be on the MVP ballot, or Purdy either. He pointed to mostly the rushing game fluff's up Allen and that his passing stats are not good enough. But isn't Lamar about to win MVP in part due to his rushing game? That stuff is important in 2024. He didn't think two guys from the same team should be on the MVP ballot therefore he eliminated Purdy.
  12. I enjoy these types of curses. So technically they can beat the Lions on Sunday but will ultimately lose the SB.
  13. Well said by the OP. RIP to this good man. I was born in ‘65. Did i get one before i will die or did that not count? I’m thinking it’s a no.
  14. Next season the Bills will be regrouping due to cap reasons...and hopefully reloading. Unless they get lucky on some young guys, it's likely a regression season. That might be what the brass is waiting for to thank Sean for his service. Regression. It's a tough look to fire a head coach with his record over the past few years...and leading them to 5 straight wins, Division title (again), another playoff win and a razor thin loss to Mahomes/Reid. His Dec/Jan record is sick. in a good way. Although as you said, he has Allen to thank for that record.
  15. That's what I'm saying. Sunday eve with my son next to me, as we are both standing nervously watching the TV, we both agree during the 2-minute warning that Buffalo should get the first down and try to walk it off at the end with a late TD.... or at worst a walk off tying FG to send it to OT (from closer in). Make KC use their timeouts. Even in the moment i said TIME is most important thing. This was great, it was our time to finally end KC and not even give them a chance to have the ball back. And our coaches are so effing dumb and not clutch at the end of close playoff games. I'm not going to blame Allen simply because the Bills are literally nothing without him. He should have been coached there.
  16. Mahomes is the best Quarterback in the world. Throwing the football, accuracy, pocket presence, being clutch.... he is the best. Josh is the best overall football player in the league at this moment. Leader, Runner, trucking people, creating amazing throws.. not the best pocket passer imo. Lamar is like a scat back playing QB, super elusive when he wants to be.. not an awesome pocket passer by any means but can certainly sling it w accuracy at times.
  17. The possession strategy, in part to protect the depleted defense was masterful. Even Travis Kelce said on his podcast that it forced KC to be ultra proficient when they got the ball, because KC knew if their O failed they would not see the ball again for a while. Our coaches McD/Brady at the end have to be effing stupid. That's all I can think. or Allen went rogue and he should know better. I really think that even if he hit Shakir, it was at least 50/50 that KC still wins the game. There would have been too much time left.
  18. I'm totally on board with trying something different but i can see the Bills hesitation. I don't have the stats in front of me but over the last 4-5 years...Buffalo has like the 2nd best overall record (behind KC), the most TDs, the largest point differential, etc.. They have silly offensive stats that should have translated into a SB appearance or two. We just have the unfortunate situation of having to get through Kansas City to go anywhere. We are so close to them,,,but they don't blink at the end of games and we do. Is this all on McDermott? Possibly it is. although did he call the shot into the end zone on 2nd down? I dunno. Did he miss the FG?
  19. In Real time a lot of people including me were saying that TIME off the clock was more important than throwing to the end zone for a TD with nearly 2 mins left. My issue is that even if he hit Shakir for the TD I really liked KC's chances to come down at the end and still win it. The Bills D wasn't stopping Mahomes in crunch time. The Bills needed to get the 9 yards. KC was giving up short stuff in the middle of the field. Bleed clock, go for the TD with very little time left, or if it comes down to a game tying FG, Bass would be closer and could likely hit it late and guarantee OT with a very late FG. I thought the script was working out to be our reverse 13 seconds game, where Buffalo had the ball at the end to win...or would kick the FG at the buzzer and win in OT somehow. Sadly, the worst outcome happened. Cursed.
  20. I mean, when it' all said and done. If Josh continues to lead Buffalo to playoff games it's not a stretch to say his all-time playoff stats would be right up there only behind Brady and Mahomes. Just without the hardware.
  21. Shoulda beat KC twice and been in two more AFC Championship games.. ugh. Josh doesn't deserve to be saddled with the curse that hovers over our city. He's a good man and a great QB. A HOF'er.
  22. I just can't believe he didn't make that deep catch. That he did not reach up with his hands and catch it like an elite WR should. He's lost it and probably ran away after the game because he's upset with himself more than anything.
  23. Our offense was mostly healthy this year. No excuses. A lot of teams aren’t.
  24. Yeah, and with Two MVP's in the bag and an AFC Championship game, Lamar is already being fitted for his gold jacket. Everything else he does personally is gravy. They were actually angry on ESPN Get UP this morning that the Bills lost to KC the other day. They are still breaking it down and are perplexed. Even they want and expected the Bills to get over the hump.
  25. It's an absolute crime of sports that Josh has not been in a Super Bowl yet. The other night was maddening. You can't lose back to back Divisional games at home. ugh.
