Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good

They might, but it’s only because they are due to lose a game they should win and the NFL can be unpredictable. They are definitely better than the NYJ. -

I saw some stat that through the first 10 games.. players in history to have 2,500+ passing yards, 70.0%+ completions, 250+ yds rushing, 5 or fewer INTs... is? Drake Maye. That's it, that's the list. He's god. -
The attempt to run with heavy personnel is all good. We have a great RB in Cook. The issue is that style of play will keep most opponents right in the game in the 4th Qtr. And then anything can happen. Maybe once a year you can blow a game open by getting some timely takeaways and breakaway runs. But that's not a script that works too often.

Ugh, it's just cringy to watch this stuff. His effort when he's not involved in the play is also embarrassing. I can't believe Beane drafted this guy because he told some funny jokes in the combine meetings.

Keon Coleman should be inactive this week. All the video I'm seeing on social media, breaking down everything about his game, is just awful. The Bills offense will be better simply by not having him out there. Yes, he had the one back shoulder TD, against a practice squad corner...and it took a perfect throw by Allen.

The key is almost.. because i want them to win badly and do something special. But I'll rationalize an implosion as being a good thing because it will lead to change.
-
That's so true, they've turned him into an emotion-less, game managing robot. It's as if he will be given electroshock therapy if he throws a pick. It's time to break glass in case of emergency. He has the right to take off an run whenever he wants, make stuff happen on the fly...

That's an indicator of a coach that has lost the team so to speak. The posts we see on this board like "this team is stale" are accurate. I suspect the Miami Loss will scare them straight for a short period of time, much like the Atlanta loss did. They will work hard, prepare hard, practice hard...and show up vs Tampa, especially at home. The other issue is that the Bills really aren't that special plus the defensive injuries. When they go on the road and half-ass the game and the opponent is jacked up, it's a recipe for losses.

Sadly the Bills and their supposedly very good Oline cannot impose their will against some of these lesser teams. I think it’s attitude and preparation.

cool i had the Eagles +1

Do you think the Chiefs would beat the Patriots as a 7th seed?
zow2 replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Panthers Bills Saints Titans Browns Falcons Bucs Thats the list of murderers row teams that NE has beaten on their streak. I give them credit for winning at Tampa off the Bucs bye week. That was well earned. I don’t think they are ready to beat the other experienced AFC teams in playoffs. I think they’d lose to any of them. -
Brutally dull game so far. But i guess these defenses are not who you want to play in January. They are tough.
-
Since i have a wager on the Eagles that punch out was a gut punch.

The guys on WGR and Sal were discussing this earlier. They think behind closed doors the Bills are purposely playing the long game with Allen as McBeane often mentions the importance of keeping Josh healthy. They imply that they are going through the season, play him conservative, stay healthy. Of course you actually have to WIN games too and even assuming they get in, the road games will be brutal

Mecole Hardman, Come on Down! (Signed to Practice Squad)

I'd say they did it for Chiefs intel, lol. But that game is over. Last i checked he was returning kicks right? So it's just an admission they need to turn over every rock to try and juice up the passing game. -
Coaches are heavily implying that Coleman isn’t trying on the field
zow2 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep. 50/50 WRs are nearing extinction. That skill is necessary for aging vets like a Mike Evans or Keenan Allen.. guys that have proven themselves to be great receivers over the years and now late into their careers. Keon should be getting F**king open!!!! -

He could have stayed at the spot and picked Worthy, or selected Ladd with that first pick in round 2. But he took the worst of the three. Great job Beane.- 548 replies

I actually think the Bills offense will improve with Keon off the field. Samuel needs more targets too. People get on his case but he is a professional WR and Josh trusts him. He did well in the playoffs last season. Some big catches.- 548 replies

I agree with you. A few weeks ago I had this game a loss. But that was before the humiliation in Miami yesterday. Had they comfortably beaten the fins, I think this game would have been tricky. Now i believe the Bills will be re-focused, have a great week of practice and preparation. They play their best when media and fans are all over them. This should be a victory. Now with all that being said...if the Bills do lose this game, we'll know the season is likely cooked.
-
The black and gold fans got the same treatment as all those Bills fans at Miami. They traveled to watch their beloved team get humiliated. Sofi and Allegiant stadium in Las Vegas have turned into defacto home games for the opponents. I think the Rams might hold their own for their home games.

It's just a season where Allen's elite play can no longer bail out the defense. I mean when they get down 13-0 to Miami and 14-0 to Atlanta it's over. We are a long way from those games last season like vs San Fran, Rams, Detroit, etc.. By the way, did anyone notice the Saints won at Carolina yesterday? it devalues the Bills win there. The Saints outgained Carolina 388 to 175, and went 8 for 17 on third downs. Plus they played the better Carolina QB.

The Home games: Tampa, Cinci, Philly and NYJ. Buffalo needs to win 3 of these. If they beat Tampa they can afford the Eagles loss. If they lose to Tampa they better win the remaining three games. The Road games: Houston, Pitt, NE and Cleveland. I think Buffalo loses a minimum of 2. I actually think they will beat New England simply because of the extra juice they will have to avenge the earlier loss. They will play well in that game. I think they lose at Texans and Steelers. Texans defense will look to rough up Allen. Steelers will just be a game we can't run effectively.

Hey, i was there with my son. Not the worst game I've seen in person, but certainly the worst playoff game given the stakes. The game was bad enough, the long drive home in traffic, darkness, snow falling and poor road conditions was just the most depressing thing ever. My son and I barely spoke a word to each other.
-
People snicker at it, but Curtis Samuel is the only other WR that Josh trusts, he had some huge catches in the playoffs last season.

Miami fired the GM and kept the coach (for now). Giants fired the coach and kept the GM. I think if things continue to go downhill here, Pegula would fire the coach first and keep the GM for continuity of staff. It's just easier to find a new head coach and assistants rather than having to backfill so many positions behind the scenes concerning a GM.
