  1. Here's the issue I have with the Chiefs game, and go ahead and flame away if you want. I said this last season too...and the year before. The KC regular season game tends to be our Super Bowl. We all feel so good when we beat the Chiefs. But the fact is, NO team is beating the Kansas City Chiefs with Mahomes, Reid, Spags, Kelce, Chris Jones..etc. TWICE in a season. They are too good and will avenge any regular season loss. You have one chance to beat them in a season. So if you want to use up that chance in the regular season game that's fine. But then they are losing the playoff game. If we think the Bills can avoid the Chiefs in the playoffs, then it's a moot point. Why do I say all this when we (as fans) have no control over the outcome? Not sure. I just want to get it out there and preemptively lessen the bad feelings from a loss on Sunday. I think in the long run it may give us the best chance to avenge it.
  2. The buzz I heard on Brian Thomas (don't know if it's true?)....is that he's pretty lazy in practice, or has poor practice habits. Again, don't know if that's true or not? But if a guy is balling out in games, that practice stuff is just noise. If he's not performing in games the practice stuff matters more and irks the coaches and GM.
  3. The Patriots seem a year ahead of schedule and they are in this honeymoon of winning phase. There's no secret I'm scared of Mike Vrabel, I've been saying this since he was coach of Tennessee and when the Pat's were woo'ing him to be their coach. I kind of expected to lose that game in part because of Vrabel, Maye and our home winning streak was due to expire. Fact is, they beat the Saints, Titans and Browns....three teams with very poor offense when you look at NFL norms. They are kind of peaking right now and will come back to earth a bit.
  4. I can kind of commiserate with Josh on this. When i was dating my wife she thought I was the MVP. After marriage she sometimes looks at me like I'm the NY Giants version of Daniel Jones.
  5. Sometimes a perennial playoff team has a down season.. and it's natural to think it's just not their year. But then they make the playoffs and go on an unexpected run. That's pretty much where I'm at. Hoping for the best, but preparing for an early exit.
  6. They have the bye week, but we have the revenge angle from the first meeting. They will cancel each other out.
  7. That pass he threw late in the game vs Baltimore to Josh Palmer. The one down the left sidelines perfectly over the outstretched LB.. I don't think he can make that throw these last 3 games. The accuracy, the touch, the slump is too wonky.
  8. I agree, but to break it down as simple as possible, he's just not accurate enough standing there not moving. Even the little short and intermediate throws can go a bit wild. Can he be elite at that as we go on? I don't know.
  9. There's a few things that bother me about Allen right now. I've never thought he was a great pocket passer, but he's been ineffective lately. He's not anticipating guys breaking open but instead mostly throwing to stationary receivers not guys on the run. He's back to throwing frozen ropes no touch on the ball whatsoever. He's scared to throw picks and it's in his head. When QBs get into trouble they tend to use their legs to move the chains and get going. You don't see Josh running at all really... is that because he's injured and doesn't want to take a hit? is he scared to fumble? has he lost a step nearing 30 years old? He is allowed to slide, he doesn't have to initiate contact on runs. When you re-watch those games last season, his best games he's running around, throwing while scrambling to WRs breaking open, it's great stuff. I'm just not seeing the same guy. His magic is when he does that. He had one throw like that yesterday, to Hawes when he ran up in the pocket away from pressure. That was a nice instinctive play. Being anchored in the pocket is not his game.
  10. Someone should make sure to point Josh to this thread. So he can understand what's wrong with him.
  11. Pats vs Colts AFC Championship game? That would piss me off lol... still don't think the Pats have paid their dues long enough from their amazing B & B run of success.
  12. Of course, but the Bills Oline is their best unit and if they execute their run blocking it's still hard to stop Cook. I know people are like Leave Cook out there,.. but he should be spelled a bit. There's just no way he will be 100% healthy come playoff time if Davis and Ty continue to be so unproductive.
  13. The “Hailee is hurting Josh’s game” stuff is weird. Men and women get married, they evolve.
  14. Gotta hand it to the pack. Down 16-7 at half they seemed cooked.
  15. A couple times tonight with that. His guys on the receiving end are making the plays.
  16. The Safety got interfered with, stepped back so he wouldn’t get called, gave up the catch, and then got hurt at the end of the play. brutal
  17. Dang, just saw their schedule. We get KC and Philly,,, they get the Titans and Skatteboo-less Giants
  18. That could be, but Boswell is kicking 56 and 50 yarders like chip shots. But he’s elite.
  19. We’ve seen it a few times today not called, but the DB must turn his head around and look at the ball. thats probably in the secret ref handbook
  20. That pass was perfect. Rodgers could not have run over and planted that ball in DK’s chest any better
  21. I think the AFC is 6-0 against NFC teams this week. This game and Wash/KC tomorrow remain.
