Watched him closely last weekend vs Carolina, I can honestly say he still looks like he's not having any fun. Dead eyes. Any brief enjoyment is forced. He's frustrated by his performance, his accuracy, probably questioning himself. The WRs beyond Shakir are woefully unproductive but a great QB should still be able to make more plays out of nothing. He's not a great pocket passer. Against KC, he should just say eff-it, start running around and get back to the guy he used to be. Making plays on the fly.

The pope is thinking why do I have to hold this laundry for a picture.

Week 9, Chefs v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!

Chiefs 30 Bills 28 I bet the Bills +2.5 as they are almost never home dogs and they play better when people start doubting them. Still not convinced they will win though based on what i’ve seen from the passing game recently. -

Driving around this afternoon and listening to some national sports talk on various channels. A couple hosts think Drake Maye has surpassed Allen already. I mean cmon please go off against KC this weekend. -

Good. That's what the home uni should be every week. I see the Bills are underdogs. I'm going to have to put a few bucks on them as home dogs, something rare in recent years in the Allen/McD era. -

That reminds me of the Peyton Manning clip that makes the rounds on social media once in a while. He tells the story of a game they just needed a half yard or something to get a first down, then they can kneel out the clock and get the Win. But one of the players on the line moved early. So it turned into 3rd and 6. So in the huddle Peyton told the player who committed the infraction to leave... to get off the field. The player thought he was joking. Peyton said no, get the hell off the field. He was pissed. They ended up not getting the first down, had to punt, but the D closed out the game anyway. -

It just feels like in his coaching tenure here, that McDermott coached teams have never cleaned up the penalty issues. and it's not just judgmental offensive holdings...it's a lot of presnap fundamental stuff like defensive Offside, Oline moving early, illegal procedure, etc,,, The DB's are always grabby grabby,,, and they keep opponents on the field on 3rd downs. -

It’s relative to them. They went 11-0 in one score games and scraped by in a few. The team, especially the offense and the way Mahomes is playing is definitely better right now than last year club. But yea, in the end the W’s are all that matter. -

Playing KC in this era is like playing the Patriots back in the Brady era (great Coach/QB/TE combo, great D coordinator). The difference is they are not in the AFC East and the Bills happen to be really good too. It's frustrating. I mean they had kind of a down year last season and still got the #1 seed and made the Super Bowl. -

I think the Bills D is going to make some plays, but KC will still score in the low-mid 20's. If the Bills D holds KC in the teens i will be pleasantly surprised. Buffalo's offense is more concerning to me. The Chiefs will not allow Cook to go crazy. They have a very solid D across the board. Allen has to break out of whatever slumber or lack of confidence that is plaguing him. He will have some open receivers TE's and RBs. He needs to release the ball quicker or take off and run sooner. His eyes have become sloooooow when he's going through his progressions. -
Some good analysis there. He's definitely is spooked by the INTs. He isn't playing with that swag and has no confidence throwing the ball. He has to snap out of it. INT's will happen but if you score enough they can be overcome. Look at Mahomes last night, 2 first half picks and he didn't get down on himself, he got angry and kept throwing.

KC has better receivers of course, no one can argue otherwise. What you see with Mahomes though, is how great he is when things break down. He knows where everyone is at all times.. his line caves in but he buys time with twitchy movements and he gets the ball out to guys that break open. He anticipates it. When he does throw a pick or two (like last night), he doesn't go to the sidelines and sulk. He's yelling at himself and whoever can hear him. He gets mad and that pumps himself up to make some plays on the next drive.
