  1. We lost 4 Super Bowl's in a row in the 90's. We've lost 4 straight playoff games to KC/Mahomes/Reid. Maybe the football gods are like "that's enough, we are done messing with you guys". Let's hope 4 is where our futility against KC ends.
  2. I agree, that Cooper may have well been akin to lighting a 3rd round pick on fire.
  3. Sorry, I vote with my eyeballs. Coleman did jack sh*t in these huge games vs Denver, Balt, KC. Worthy made us look like fools. Next season if Keon goes off in the Divisionals and AFC Championship game, I will present him with his flowers.
  4. Yeah, i was wrong about Worthy. I didn't think he would hold up...and dang, his best game of the season was against us. So if you remove him from the KC lineup, it would have made a difference. We were undercut by them reaching up and grabbing McDuffie too, leaving us with Elam. KC is playing chess.. and I don't know what we're playing.
  5. There was a guy on Sirius today going on a huge “feel sorry” rant for Bills fans. He said he can’t imagine getting kicked in the nuts time and time again like Buffalo fans and he was glad to root for the Bears, because then you at least know there are no chances of a SB.
  6. Yeah, that's the thing i don't know what he can be. I guess we will see... but jeez right now Tyrell Shavers probably gives you more production than Keon if he was given the same opportunities.
  7. The Eagles defensive stats are the best in football. We know KC's defense is excellent. It's time to clean up that side of the ball. Defense wins Championships, especially when you have a solid offense (doesn't have to be all world great). The Bills will have good offense with Allen, Cook, the Oline, etc.. They simply must fix the defense and Buffalo, in our weather, should always have a NASTY defense and we just don't. We get one injury and everyone gets traumatized. They feasted on Takeaways this season, Yay, that's not sustainable.
  8. There's no word on that. We have to keep in mind the last few years he was out in the Divisional round so he had a couple weeks to be registered, make arrangements for Pebble, etc. This season he made the AFCCG, and his mindset was probably making plans for the Super Bowl. So to go from a right wrist issue to playing golf in like 3 days, and having all those arrangements made, seems a stretch. But hey, ya never know?!
  9. I've seen clips of him doing interviews over the past few years at the Friday and Saturday leading up to the Super Bowl. He probably does his schmoozing there.
  10. He hates the pro bowl. I don't think he will ever go,,, maybe it was from being snubbed in the past. i sometimes wonder if not going makes him less popular amongst his peers on other teams.
  11. Yep, and if we just keep blowing high picks on players like Coleman, Kincaid, Elam, etc.. you might as well throw a bunch of draft resources to get Myles in here.
  12. I hear you. Every single sign pointed to the Bills beating KC and being in the SB. We had the Simpson's episode pointing to it...the monkeys and dogs throwing the balls through the hoops of the winning teams, etc.. Everything imaginable went Buffalo's way, lol. except the actual game.
  13. Since you watched hours of tape, who is the Keon Coleman comp in the NFL right now? Someone who has been really successful and a household name. I was thinking when he came out maybe a Mike Evans type, but I'm not seeing any of that.
  14. If Coleman was really Josh's pick then Josh is fired. Worthy or McConkey look better in their rookie seasons and seem more versatile as WR threats. With QB's so hyper focused on turnover margins nowadays, the 50/50 ball is becoming a risk some QBs aren't taking as much.
  15. I would be all in on mortgaging whatever for Garrett. Sure, it hurts resources down the road, but the team still has a great 2-3 year window right now. Get er done.
  16. Our coaches have the mindset of "let's go with what usually works because whenever we get cute, it fails". Andy Reid has the mindset of having 5 different options for each big play and they execute them flawlessly because Mahomes is special. They saved the Perrine play to ice the game.. they didn't use him the entire game except for that one moment.. he kept that in his back pocket.
  17. I'm tired of Hamlin too. He improved this season but nowhere close to the impact we need. Maybe we get that from Bishop going forward. I want the Eagles DB's!
  18. The only thing bothering me at this point, is the Xavier Worthy thing. I was wrong. Take him off the Chiefs in that game, and the results might be different. Put Worthy on the Bills or maybe Ladd McConkey and the results might be different. If Keon had produced down the stretch I'd feel better about him but he kinda regressed after his wrist thing. and it's clear with Worthy's next level speed he can be used in more ways than Coleman.
  19. The NFL went to 7 teams and eliminated the 2 seed bye only when the Bills started earning the 2 seed. You can't make this stuff up! Between that and having our best QB and offensive teams exist in the Mahomes/Reid era, makes me want to weep.
  20. Agree that Beane needs to be keenly aware of the weaknesses here. People think the window is open as long as JA is here? i’m not so sure it will be as open for the long duration people think. But i do know this coming 2025 season they are absolutely going to be a top team again, and 2026, the first season in the new stadium they will have a great chance to win it all. It’s going to be a special year. Beyond that, things will likely decline. That’s just my opinion. Beane had better use all the resources at his disposal to get this D to championship caliber, and to add some. alia le pieces to the O.
  21. We’re all just assuming the Bills will run it back, no changes. I think that’s the course. But any chance you just see McD up and leave due to burnout or something? or get fired? Beane? Any big name players out the door other than maybe Von, Milano, Hamlin?
  22. I’m accepting of it. This wasn’t 13 seconds-like. This wasn’t a fluky win for KC so it’s easier to wash it off and move on. It was obvious from the first 4 mins of the game KC was more composed, better coached, better prepared. Credit the Chiefs, and credit the Bills for hanging in there and even making Kansas City and their fans sweat it out.
  23. From the 30,000 foot view, I thought Kansas City looked like the better club. They were composed from the very beginning, they made their effective plays look easier, Bills OLine did not dominate like I thought they would, Bills DLine was held at bay most of the time, KC had better coaching overall and certainly situationally. Mahomes looked better than Allen overall, not by much but he did. I would be a lot more upset if the Bills lost on a fluke...But they did not. I understand the 4th and 1 call was huge, but maybe we could've pushed Josh for a full extra yard and not made it a judgement.
  24. They have made this point ad nauseum on the ESPN morning talk shows the past couple days. They can't get past the fact Allen had the ball in his hands for the final potential GW drive and didn't get it done.... regardless of play calling, poor line play, guys dropping passes, etc.. It's like his legacy was re-written in the wrong direction.
  25. Go out and buy a good WR for Allen.. but I'd spend draft picks to find long, rangy, hard hitting DB's. We just suck on the back end so bad. When the Bills play the quality teams there are guys just wide open everywhere.
