Yeah,I agree. If Ralph would spend a little money on veteran depth our roster wouldn't look bad. Our drafts haven't been as bad as many percieve them,imo.

Watching Fitz today just made my mind up about Trent. He aint got it. Fitz is no starter,but he did things today,and last week,that really highlighted Captain Checkdowns shortcomings. He got Lee Evans involved,he tried to get TO involved and he never looked scared. I'm OK if Fitz starts the rest of the season. Whether thru free agency or the draft,priority #1 has to be finding a starting QB.

I saw quite a bit of him in college and he was always a ballhawk. That said,I was still disappointed when we chose him when Everette Brown was availiable. But man,that dude is a baller. I think he has made alot of us who were bitching about another high round DB eat crow.

If Fitz comes in and kicks butt the job should be his to lose. Trent has not done enough to be an entrenched starter imo. If Fitz does little,as I expect,Trent gets to finish the season. I think we will be in the market for a QB this off-season.

I agree. College football is much more exciting than the NFL. I dislike replay in general,both in college or the NFL.

Go watch a live college game where instant replay is not in use. It's great. The game moves along so well. When a call is made,you may B word and boo for about 30 seconds and then the next play starts and you move on. You forget about it. I'd much rather put up with the human element of an occasional blown call than the halting pace and general hair-splitting,complaining environment that comes with instant replay.

Try getting in a decent (40 minute or so) cardio workout shortly before your doctors appoitment. I've noticed my BP is usually a little lower if I do that. Also if you take BP meds,take them a couple hours before your appointment. And watch your sodium intake for a few days prior. A full stomach will also raise your BP,so go in hungry.

I had a similar experience happen to me several years ago. I was doing sets with 350 on the bar.I got going too fast,my form got sloppy,the bar drifted too high and I lost control and it came down across my throat. And I had no spotter. Luckily,my wife was in another room and heard me choking. She was able to get under one end of the bar enough for me to get out from under it. I ended up with just a shoulder injury and a sore neck and throat. The latest reports say Johnson is going to be OK. At this point footballs not even a concern. Hopefully he'll be able to have a normal life.

Yeah,Claussen is the real deal. Outstanding pro-style QB. He'll definitely make it in the NFL,imo. The combination of a potent offense and suspect D makes ND a fun team to watch. GO BLUE!!!!!!!

FWIW,according to the fantasy site my league is on,Fanball.com,Jon Runyan will not be signing with Philly. Not sure how important it would be anyway,as the OL performed pretty well Monday night. But anytime we can add a Wolverine I'm all for it.

I agree 100%. A perfect example of why I just prefer to do away with instant replay. It's always so inconsistent. They overturn calls that they shouldn't and uphold calls that should be overturned.And it slows the pace of the game so much. I attend several college games every year and the ones without replay are so much more enjoyable to watch,imo. The call is made and,agree or not,you move on and have forgotten about it 2 plays later. And I agree Charlie did us a favor calling those pass plays at the end. Michigan is headed in the right direction and will be top 10 in a couple of years,if not sooner.

The Bills are a mess. There's no other way to put it. I've defended RW and Jauron for a long time,but it's just impossble to do it now. The OC and left tackle both gone days before the season opener? I'm sad to say,this team has become a joke.
