Excellent post. I agree on all points. The only move I questioned was taking Byrd when Everette Brown was availiable. Brown would have been a great value at that point,I'm not so sure Byrd was. But obviously,the FO had Byrd higher on their board and he would not have made it to our next pick. FSU pass-rushers do not have a great track record in the NFL either. Overall I think it was a very good draft.

Invest in some workout eqipment. Get a decent bench,a couple hundred pounds of weight and a stationary bike. Look on line and set yourself up a weight program. Hit the weights 3 times a week and do the bike 4 or 5 times a week for 30 to 45 minutes. You can buy all the equipment you need for 500 bucks or so. Eat sensibly and stick with the workouts religiously and you will get and stay in shape.

Most of my family are Raider fans and they are ready to lynch Al Davis. A bunch of us were at my daughters softball game yesterday listening to the draft on the radio. When the Raiders took Heyward-Bey instead of Crabtree everybody was in disbelief. There was a lot of other Raider fans there too and everybody was pissed. Taking Heyward-Bey also basically handed Crabtree to the 49er's,which made it that much worse. To those who think it's so tough being a Buffalo fan-just be glad you aint a a Raider fan,it's much worse!

I've watched Oregon play several times over the last few years and it seemed like Byrd was making plays every time. I remember him as a stout looking CB that seemed to be always in the middle of the action. He hadn't even crossed my mind until we drafted him. And then I was like, Yeah that Byrd dude,he can play!

My whole life the only people I ever knew who roasted their own coffee was my mom and my tias. They do it in a cast-iron pan on top of the stove. Makes the best coffee in the world,and it makes the house smell real good too. I didn't know it was commonly done here. The flavor of home roasted coffee is unbeatable.

I had never tasted this stuff till I read this thread. I went and bought some this morning and had it on my eggs. Very good . Tapatio is my go to,but I'm gonna add this stuff to the rotation. EXCELLENT on eggs. I'm not big on Asian food but this stuff is good.

I think they always separate the Pres and VP when any potential threat is present. I beleive it's cuz if something were to go down they both wouldn't be taken out at once.
