Think this was the Bills best overall game of the year, offense, defense, special teams wasn't asked to do much, but no mistakes either, few penalties, no turnovers, 10 minutes more possession!

From what I read the issue was different teams would have played different amount of conference games and then would made it hard to sort out who goes to conference championship game, Miami played one less game.

If Knox and Epenesa are the difference between winning losing, we have more issues! They are both FA's so likely won't be here.

Likely nothing (and same with Murphy) both are FA's at year end and they need to figure out what their heir apparent can provide. Do they need to get another edge rusher or is AJ an adequate replacement. Knox has been out most of the year, they need him to play. And guess they feel they want better blocking that Smith provides.

I'm the first one to laugh at the crusade of the year player here on TBD and would normally whole heartedly agree with you, but the fact that Aaron Rodgers was upset when he was let go, does potentially make him a bit different than Duke Williams. Will see, maybe it was just more a sign of how weak overall Greenbay's WRs group was.

I'd also vote no on this. However I'll throw out another thought. The Bills have needs next year at CB, LB, Edge, O-line and TE. Depending whom they are able to re-sign and FA may fill some of these spots. But very likely not all, so could easily draft to fill one of these spots late on the first. However if Travis Etienne was available, would you throw all that out and grab him instead? Having a guy like that plus the WR group would may a really high dynamic offense.

Agree that would make more sense. It's Saturday at 4:00 regardless whether you're playing at 1:00 or 8:30 in the evening. Sunday at 4:00 would be consistent. (likely the reason this is wrong)

The context was in an article about whom the Bills might cut next year to save money and that they didn't play him the week prior so the team may be ready to move on. Then stated that Morse made a comment after the game about it. Hadn't seen/heard anything prior.

Reading an article in today's Athletic. It states: Morse’s comments after the game made it sound as if the coaching staff sent him a message by leaving him out of the lineup in Week 10. I don't recall hearing or reading anything, Does anyone know what he stated?

Read the other day story about Klein and he commented how he had never played the position/role the Bills were asking him to play so took some time for him to figure things out. Makes me wonder if that was part of Edmunds issue to, that too often he was trying to cover for Klein being out of position or something, or at least watching him out of the corner of his eye for help rather than reacting first himself? No one knows defenses like Rex!!

No necessarily, one thing I've read is they may average the 2021 and 2022 caps and use that number in 2021, That would again then be the 2022 base plus any of the normal gains from year to year that tends to boost it a few million more than projected the year prior. Considering in 2022 the new TV deals should be done, that few million gain could be come a huge gain that could push it higher than todays 2022 projected.
